Pat in the men's department is outstanding! She is always there with a smile on her face to greet the customers. Very friendly & knowledgeable of the items that she is there to sell. Just an all around GREAT employee always happy to see her makes it so easy to go to the Martisville Belk to shop. They usually always have what I need as well. Great store for small town!

Love Belk they have nice clothes etc. also have coupons on top of sale prices and clearance which help a lot.*Edit 2024* Noticed recently that a lot of their Michael Kors bags are clearanced out so a nice authentic designer bag for around $100 is a good deal for that brand!

Been stopping by this local Belk for several decades off and on. The prices were considerably good. It's an upper tier level of clothing but not overly expensive. The store was mostly in order (we came in around 6:30 so the store had been shopped for a few hours.) I'd say overall it was in good shape for being open all day. I gave 4 stars for lack of presence of salespeople. Although I understand covid will bring lack of help these days. The cashier we had was both polite and friendly. We made small talk for a second which was great (something you rarely see these days.) store was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. The layout of the store was easy to navigate between sections. Overall good visit. We were able to find what we were looking for and as an added bonus, the item we bought (women's dress pants) were on sale! Great job Belk.

Nice place, things were in order, clean and friendly staff. They have great selections on clothes and home decor. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they are pricey but when they have sales or offer coupons you can get a deal.

Great buy today on Crown & Ivy 100 percent cotton shirts. Bright summer colors.Name brands galore, high but reasonable when on sale, which most of it usually is. Some men's winter outdoor vests and coats up to 70-80 percent markdowns.A pleasure to interact with their sales staff -- friendly, efficient and engaged. Vastly superior to standard big box service.

My only complaint is, they don't carry many small sizes. A few small tops, pajamas, and dresses. No jeans or slacks/pants in small sizes of 1- 4. Nice selection of shoes.

Online order ready when i arrived. New employee didn't brush me off, but knew where to send me for the answer to my question. Next service person was polite and helpful with great attitude. Early holidays discount day, so I was pleased with savings, too! Shelves were stocked and ready for shoppers.

This store has improved tremendously in the variation of clothing, the pricing, and the promotions. Now I no longer have to drive to Danville to get what I need. Belk Bucks is a good program, but the window for using the credit should be larger than 30 days. I find that there has been a huge variability in sizing of clothing sizes and quality of items. Unfortunately, this results in many returns. Overall, it is a satisfactory experience.

ONCE AGAIN, I ordered something online and Belk employees are just sending you whatever they want if they can't find what you ordered to meet their quota at the customers expense. The UPC I ordered does not match with the product that came in so I know they just sent whatever. I did not pay the money I did to not receive my item, especially when the replacement was significantly cheaper. This Belk is the return address on the box. This is NOT Walmart. You cannot just substitute something else. Just accept that you don't have the product and let another store ship it out. I'm a lead at another belk in another state, I KNOW how it works. Keep this up and Belk will go out of business eventually because people are so fed up with Belk employees caring more about meeting their quota than having integrity.

My experience over all was okay. I went in the store and looked up a wedding registry. I had wonderful help while doing my shopping. The lady helping me was as polite as anyone else I had dealt with. It was only after leaving the store that I found out that 2 out of the 3 items I purchased off the registry had been bought days before but for some reason the registry was not updated. When I got home, I looked the registry up again online and the items that have been bought not once but twice were still listed as not purchased. I know this could be a computer error. I just hate the hour I spent shopping was wasted. With that said, Barbara was a wonderful customer service rep. She went above and beyond to help me every step of the way. Small errors happen. It's the wonderful customer service that will keep me coming back!!

I always find the clothing I need at this Belk. They have a good selection of men's clothing, with the exception of men's shoes, that section keeps getting smaller. The staff is always helpful and nice. They always have really good sales. Buy one get one or two. Best selection around.

This store needs a serious update and organization, one of the messiest and oldest Belk in the region. So much so, as one of the only clothing stores in our area, I will drive to another city to find a better shopping experience. Two stars because the staff is nice, otherwise it would be 1.

The lovely woman at the makeup counter (from somewhere in Europe?) is amazing. She matched me with a beautiful foundation from Estee Lauder, and was so gracious and helpful. The staff is always so friendly and professional. I rarely splurge on things for myself, but when I do, I head to Belk.

I spent over $1000.00 at Belk for this holiday season. Went back today to return just 3 of the items and had to have the original DEBIT card that was used to purchase items over 2 weeks prior. After going home and returning to Belk with the debit card, the cashier allowed 3 (three) purchasing customers to go in front of me although I was next in line. So Belk needs to treat customer returns as considerate as they do purchases!

Very surprised at this Belk store. Not sure what is going on. Looked disorganized and cluttered. I asked a salesperson if they were going out of business. Was told NO...I will say they are having great sales. Not impressed with the majority of their womens clothes line.
