Co-pilot (GPS) had me in downtown Marion. This facility is actually in Chilhowie VA at the intersection of Lee Hwy and Seven Mile Ford Road. They had me loaded in 45 minutes. Good people. Scale on site. A bit of a maze. Go slow. Plenty of room to dock.

The ratecon from Landstar said 44500 lbs. the bol says 44000 but overall weight for 22 skids of wood pellets was 45800. They don’t add in the weight of skids and wrapping of pallets. They do have a scale in site. After they adjusted my load 3 times I got it close but still over couple hundred on drive axle and trailer tandem. Overall weight was 79760 The guy in the office said they wouldn’t be able to take a skid off because they were loosing money if they did. The broker on the load was ignorant also named David. I’m calling Landstar corporate office today on him. If they unloaded me and left because I couldn’t scale the load legally I wasn’t getting a truck order not in use. So I wasted 5 hrs here and he won’t give any detention time. Also watch the bol they hand you the times are wrong but the last one they gave me and had to resign I put the correct time on it. A very shady place

Simple pick up place but you have to be attentive one way in from what I see and it's tight. If you picking up from here and a truck driver seems to be if you're on time they will get right to you as long as there is a door available.

I picked up a load here, the forklift driver was fast and friendly, it's a little hard driving around because of all the product stacked in the way but slow and careful and it can be done.

shipping office difficult to find because of all the clutter. actual address 573 lee hwy for shipping/receiving. Ok place to load. Would've been much faster if loader hadn't been texting on his phone every 5 minutes! Another place with texting zombies that get paid by the hour while drivers fight the 14 hour clock

The guy was hard headed, I told him to take off 2 pallets because I was over weight, few hours later he finally did it. What a waste of time.
