I highly recommend them if you’re considering Purchasing a dog, we have a beautiful Cavapoo, who is extremely energetic, lovable and healthy! This is my second puppy purchasing from here! We’re so in love with our fur ball! The staff is super friendly and helpful they made the entire process easy. I definitely recommend coming here. Both of my puppies are healthy and doing amazing. Thank you guys so much!

BEWARE - FROM A DOG TRAINERI’ve been a dog trainer forever and this place is a puppy mill.All the puppies are sick which is usual for places like this.They do not care about the animals and will not tend to them enough.Places like this will 100% ask people to write a 5 star review for some kind of deal to make it look good!Those poor puppies are the ones who are suffering the most tho, don’t support.Just go to animal shelters people(there’s one in Fairfax)

I honestly was hesitant to check this place out due to the reviews but those bad reviews couldn’t be more wrong!We arrived and I was expecting it to be kinda dirty but the puppies all were super active and their cages were all clean. So was the floor. It smelt a little like pet store but that’s common it’s not like gross it’s just the bedding for the dogs!We found an energetic and beautiful cavalier King Charles spaniel and got a great deal on her. I don’t get the negative hate.Look, I’ll say my piece. If people are against stores like this make the adoption process easier for a rescue dog. All of these northern Virginia dog rescues require insane things like random drop in home checks, every member of the family to go in person to meet the dog, pet insurance etc. don’t stick a $500 rehoming fee on a mixed breed dog with a background check requirement and maybe you’d stop pet stores, but this is a great store for a healthy purebred dog you can’t just go rescue.Angela is great, we’d definitely get another dog here!

I had the best experience here! Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable! We left with a 12 week old golden retriever. All of their puppies are very well taken care of inside and out. He has all his shots and was microchipped. They sent me home with all of his paperwork as well as a big bag of food that lasted about a week for us!

We went in the puppy shop yesterday to find a new family member and I can’t rave enough about how great of a experience we had, they were so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient and understanding about the decision process and how big it is. They had absolutely no problem letting us connect with whichever puppy we were interested in, and it wasn’t about selling us the most expensive dog they had real genuine love for there animals and you finding what is best for your family dynamic. I could go on and on they were just awesome and if we decide to expand our family again I know where to go. We ended up with an amazing mini poodle who is soo loved and soo lovable. If you’re looking for a fur baby check them out they won’t disappoint.

The shop was fine. They treated his worms but I had to treat his aggressive bilateral ear infections. He was now my responsibility so I treated it out of my pocket, rightfully. The financial company , however, that they set you up with has me paying for my puppy, who is now considered a grown adult an indefinite amount. After a year of payments that I expected I was close to paying off this debt, but to my surprise, I was astonished to find out my debt was now 3500$. I was told that, because I didn’t pay the 1500$ in three months, that my amount due is now 3500$. If they would have told me this at front, I would’ve made the decision to either increase monthly payments, make a final lump sum, or not take the deal at all. I felt I was in the wrong for not reading the fine print so I continued to pay. Be wary. He cost 1500$ and payments were biweekly, I made payments automatically and consistently, but somehow now he costs 3500$.I finally reached out to the financial company and their explanation is robotic, as if this is their norm and have been trained to relay a script with what to say to you to confuse you. I was on hold for a very long time for a supervisor. I think that they know that after an hour on hold that you would hang up and I did, after 2 hours on hold. It truly felt I was just placed on hold with no supervisor to assist with my call knowing that I will hang up, as they have done many times before. With my experience with the interaction I’ve had with this financial company, I do not think this is an American based company as their name claims to be. I pay biweekly and somehow barely makes a dent. I do not see an end in sight with my payments. I will have to reach out to a lawyer if these payments continue out of the rational pay off time. Go to the BBB website and you’ll find similar if not identical complaints. I do not see the end in sight in paying off this debt. The portal gives you how much you’ve paid so far but not what your balance due is. I’ve deducted that this is because they keep increasing the length of your payments. You don’t have to believe me. Just google it.

BE AWARE!!! ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE EVERRR!!! I went in to see about a puppy today there was no employee at all in there for about 20 min I’m saying “hellooo” and walk in the back still no one but what I did see was a lot of dogs with absolutely NO WATER ! and these cute little puppies that are eating what appears to be month old food ! Will attach a pic ! Also I called the number to see where the employee was and got the owner on the phone , once I expressed to her that I was there with no employee and what all I had seen she threatened to call the police on me saying I was not supposed to be in the back ! Guess they don’t want us customers to see what’s really going on in here behind closed doors ! This place should be shut down ! Poor dogs ! Unreal ! P.S THE OWNER TEXTED ME AND THREATENED ME AFTER I LEFT THE STORE POSTING PIC AS WELL !

My husband and I bought a dog from here recently and it was a great experience! The owners were both very nice and personable. The dogs were all very well cared for and healthy. Our puppy is doing great and is the sweetest! Will definitely buy another dog here in the future.

The owner of this business harassed one of my friends for parking outside of his store after regular business hours. First of all, this business doesn’t even have reserved parking spaces for their customers. There are no signs stating that and no towing enforcement in the business complex. Therefore visitors are free to park wherever they like. He was a total weirdo and asked her to move her vehicle to the other side of the complex where there was no open parking and was rude about it. I think he had a bias towards the business she was going to patronize. He was even waiting outside watching us leave later in the evening.If he treats people that way, I can only imagine how those poor dogs are being treated inside this “Puppy Shop”

Cant forget super clean area and puppies are outstandingly well taken care of The Owner Is a Sweet lady i wish i knew her name She is so attentive and there was so many people buying!! The owner of this shop was aggressive and persistently harassing me in the parking lot. Do not support this business. Treating someone so rudely says a lot about his customer service and honestly it's concerning that these animals are trapped with this lunatic.***Edit in response to owner's reply:**Apologies if this was not the owner, he must be one of the employees. He was a older man (50s-ish), very tan, slim build, gray hair a few inches long.

Amazing place. They have the healthiest puppies I’ve seen. By far the cleanest and most knowledgeable puppy store I have been too. Their prices are great too! It’s a must if you are on the hunt for a puppy. I have three pups from them all about 1 year apart. Love being one of their many return customers!

I bought a King Charles puppy, February 8th, puppy was sick and went to the vet Monday, Angela said if puppy is ill within ten days send receipt and she will pay vet bill, so I did and now she needs vet to fill out paperwork but she never sent it back for me to get it signed!All she wants is your money, she doesn’t care otherwise!Don’t buy her puppies!!

Very nice store and owners. Will let you interact with all the puppies. The puppies are well socialized and they all play together during the morning. All the dogs were happy and well cared for and the store was kept clean.You should always do your homework but definitely a positive experience.

Me and my wife brought our little baby here from Jackie at the puppy shop. From the moment we walked in we were sold she treated us as if we were the only people who mattered. I'm sorry to see the negative response. I found The Puppy Shop to be a family friendly environment and it was evident the puppies were treated as though they were in their forever home with love and care. I found the owners to be extremely knowledgeable on their various breeds, very patient and responsive to my many questions and most important, I have a healthy and happy puppy. I highly recommend The Puppy Shop to anyone looking for a new "family" member!

I got my new baby from The Puppy Shop back in February. She is a beautiful Teddy bear Shichon. She is a wonderful addition to our family. She is healthy and thriving. No problems. Vet checked and my vet says she is doing great. She is also very smart and has been easy to train. I was looking into getting a puppy for over a year. Looked into many rescues, but I wanted a small dog and they appear to be hard to find. I am a home health physical therapist and I am often in the Culpeper area. I visited the Puppy Shop 3 times before I decided on Bailey. It was always clean and all of the puppies appeared healthy. The owner and staff were helpful and knowledgeable. My experience was great with the Puppy Shop. I would recommend it.

Buyer beware! They definitely have a good sales pitch but the dog's health speaks for it self. The puppy was very skinny and low energy. Within the first 12 hours we noticed the puppy we bought from there had fleas. The next day we had our vet check him out and we found out that he had a serious case of hook worm. This explains the low weight and energy. We were told by the puppy shop that his energy and weight where because he was the runt of the litter. This was obviously not true. I am very happy that we where able to rescue this poor pup from this business. *Hook worm is very transferrable so if you have purchased an animal from here recently I recommend you have them checked right away.

I bought a Havachu and later came back for a friend, a lil Yorkie-chon. During the Pandemic I got puppy fever and came back for a shitz chu boy who was so sweet and would work with me in my home office all day. My students decided to name him Tucker :) Sadly, we had a house fire and lost our puppies. Now in our new home, we came back to the Puppy Shop and found our two sweet retrievers and a lil Havanese who reminded me of my co-worker Tucker :) I'm glad I found this place. I wouldn't buy a dog from anywhere else!

I've been visiting the Puppy Shop for over six months now considering a new puppy and each time that I have visited the shop it has been extremely clean and the staff has been professional and knowledgeable. During the time they were remodeling, I wasn't paying attention and walked in because I was so excited to see the new arrivals. The puppies were not housed with all breeds mixed together and the staff working very politely let me know that they were closed and not open for customers. I'm not sure where all of the negative comments are coming from but from my first meeting with the owner I could tell that she was an animal lover who was selling AKC puppies at lower rates because she feels that multiple thousands of dollars for puppies is not reasonable. You can tell they care because you have to use disinfectant to even handle the puppies as well as wearing protectors. My recommendation is to visit and make your own assessment. I will buy from here when I make my final decision.
