I recently visited Southern States - Manassas, and I was thoroughly impressed. Plus, their prices are better than some other garden centers in the area.Dog Food: As a bonus, Southern States is the go-to spot for dog food. Honestly rather go here to get my garden supplies or other hardware store items, when possible. The staff and customers are much more helpful and friendly. They also support the local community more than the others.

Could park overnight just on right side in front of gate.They open 08.00 AM.When empty no more parking because entrance fills up quick with customers loading goods.Sure appreciate that they let you park,

I have been going to Southern States the Manassas location for 2 years or so since we got our Berne-Doodle. They have the best food, treats, and toys all right there and last year or so they introduced a pet wah station which is saving me a lot on groomers costs! It has shampoos, warm water, towels, blow dryer and more. It's all a dog-dad might need!

I really like shopping at this location, they do a great job of making you feel like you are appreciated as a customer, and not just as a number like the big box stores do. I also like that they let you choose the best split rail fencing supplies. My fencing skills aren't very good, so having straight lumber to work with makes life a lot easier.

Prices is ok (almost a $1 cheaper at home depot off of soil), customer service is lacking a bit, I didn't feel welcomed, the only thing that is a positive is the great selection of quality items.

Well stocked. Disappointed they removed stepless exit ramp to lengthy parking area. More enthusiasm would be appreciated to help older frail customers load large heavy items into their cars.

Very helpful staff, everything you need they have. They have lower cost alternatives to the expensive, nationally advertised brands. Fir example, you can get 50 pound bags of grass seed there for the price of 25 elsewhere.

Have shopped at Southern States since it was a Cooperative many years ago. Main source of supply for mulch (over 150 bags each year), and salt pellets for water softener. Also suet and bird seed for my little buddies.
