My son purchased a large cat tree for my two 8 month old kittens. It is 60" in height. Puts the cat at eye level when on top platform. Both of them had a blast "helping" build it. Tony and Coby definitely approve the purchase. Tony is currently sitting on top, watching over the neighborhood. Great product. BTW staff was friendly, helpful and courteous not something you get in most stores in this area. Best Christmas present. My son is also a pet parent of one dog and three cats.Update: We now have 5 guys climbing on the tree. A year later and it is holding up!

Always clean and they love your pets. Grooming is far above others and the people in the entire store actually know the entire store. They can find anything you need and always have great recommendations. There never seems to be a stock shortage and the prices are still appropriate.

I do not recommend buying anything from this place. Chris the manager is about as sharp as a marble. Denied my gf from buying some guppies because they might get eaten. Said they have feeder fish goldfish/minnows. We don't want toxic fish in our tanks. Goldfish and minnows are toxic to other fish that eat them or turtles that eat them. Denying a sale because you think something might get eaten but selling something toxic to get eaten is ok. Some people's brains are not always there

Please don't visit this place.The ladies clip my dog's nails very short and caused of this, he bleed all over the car, I trusted them because had been bringing my two dogs for 3 years.My dog was very sad and have to return to the place for an answer and the manager Britt offer me a 10% on my next visit of course I didn't take.I told her don't feel comfortable bringing my dogs here anymore, they didn't say anything about the bleeding and made me think my dogs were treated harshly. Awful service..!

Walk in for dog's nail trim. Greeted promptly by 2 available stylists. 1 handled my worried puppy calmly. After quick completion, puppy was calm enough to stroll the store sniffing for a treat.

I like it because it has almost everything you need for a hamster. The only problem is that they sell very small hamster cages for expensive prices and they are not safe for hamsters. Get a giant plastic bin instead for your hamster

It's a great petsmart easy enough layout and things are right where you need it to be. The back seems kinda empty though and feels a little creepy to be there haha. But our doesn't affect anything at all and the staff are super helpful as well

We took our poppy Coco for her first cut and nail trim to this location at Bull Run Plaza. Julie did the grooming. Coco was shaking when we tried to leave her but different story when we picked her up! Coco was so happy, nice and fluffy. Julie even put tow cute bowes on her hair which added extra cuteness. Julie did excellent! Thank you. I will be bringing my Coco again.

Please don’t patronize this particular Pet Smart location, as I was 18 minutes late for a grooming appointment at 7am. The first one of the day, it was traffic and my fiancée actually had to be let into the locked door, but was turned away by a very RUDE associate. I hate to play the “race card”, however she appeared not to have a particular liking for persons of a certain race. Okay, we were late, but my goodness it’s not the end of the world. My fiancée nicely asked if anything could be done bcos of the traffic. The RUDE associate replied “NO!, “ slammed the door and walked off. This type of workers shouldn’t deal directly with the public. I will continue to take my pet to the location closest to my previous address in Fairfax VA, where the associates are friendlier. I was going to change and not deal with Pet Smart again; however I won’t allow one bad apple to spoil the bunch.

I went there for fish, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They only have freshwater fish. The accessories seem pricey. The staff was also patient and answered all the questions that my 3 year old had. Thank you!

The Manassas location is ok. In my experience, I have found maggots on 2 different occasions. Once, one a doggy birthday cookie and the other all around the Cesar wet dog food. Other than that. Is ok

Absolutely terrible customer service on the grooming end. The women barley tried putting a leash on my dog… threw the leash at him and his eye, he reacted by moving in a skittish matter. She got the leash on successfully after mounting him on the seat. She aggressively grabbed my dogs leg and my dog didn’t like it so he jumped up (no mouth opening or growling) and they refused to service us. They barley tried and didn’t even give it a 3rd attempt, didn’t try talking to my dog just forced what they wanted to do. They treated my dog like an animal more then a dog friend. My dog is a rescue dog and he was mistreated poorly by the heavy set blond lady. Also made comments “normally I wouldn’t even try an hour before we close” … unprofessional and rude.

First time at this location and will definitely go back. I don't know if their fish tank area has been renovated but it looks way better than my Fair Lakes location. So clean I found a nice selection of things for my hamster and my dog.

Always clean. Fish wall is always clean and free of algae. The small animals always look happy and their habitats are perfect for each small animal type. Their reptiles always have fresh bedding and they look happy doing their own thing. I love how the food is laid out. the best brands are near the front and as the quality of food goes down the further back you have to walk. The salon is always clean and staff is always friendly. They are very gentle with the dogs and care about them like they would their own. I would recommend any of the groomers in that salon for your dog. They are all very knowledgeable and well trainer, and their grooms look fantastic ALWAYS. I know everyone is afraid to trust their dogs with pet stores right now, but this salon team is the BEST!

Took my goldendoodle pup to this location. Michelle and team did a great job and he wasnt sheared like a sheep. Wish they had a tipping feature so I could show my gratitude! This is where my pup will go from now on, highly impressed!
