I used to work here and although it can be overwhelming at times, the people that work here are some of the most genuine animal loving people I’ve ever met. I can tell you with sincerity if you ever want to board your dog or need day care for your dog, this is the place. The front desk lady/ canine coach Ashley has been there a long time and genuinely cares about the dogs and their well being. And she is only one of MANY dedicated staff. It takes a very special person to stay as long as she and many others have at this place. I know from personal experience it can get very hectic at times! But they always have it controlled and they take the well being of all the dogs very serious. If you decide to send your dogs here routinely, know you will be one of many who have learnt how wholesome the staff is here and how exceptional your dog will be treated in comparison to the other dogtopias’ in this area. Every individual dog is so special to these people. They receive so much love. Dogtopia Manassas has got to be the BEST Dogtopia in the NOVA area hands down. If you don’t enroll your dog here they will be missing out for sure!

The manager Melanie and staff are just amazing!! I love that I can watch my pup play with her doggy friends throughout the day. My Oakley enjoys daycare every time.

Several things: 1. I like that i can watch my dog on nest - during the day - and see him having fun.2. I like the people that work there - they interact with my dog and he likes them (if he didn't, we would be going there).3. It is totally convenient for me - as my work is nearby.4. I feel that the staff cares for the pups there.5. I love it when he is wiped out after playing all day - and I know he's gotten exercise and socialization!

Edited: 3/25/24: I arrived to the facility for my appointment at 4 pm. My dog gets car sick so I gave him a couple minutes outside to use the bathroom or vomit as he usually does after a car ride. When I went inside the facility I was not greeted so I greeted them and told them I was there for my 4 pm appointment. One of the front desk ladies (Cheryl/Sherry, I believe) said they couldn't see me because I was late. I asked what time is it? isn't it 4 pm? and was told it's 4:03 pm so they wouldn't be able to see me and i would need to reschedule. I explained my dog's situation with car rides and asked if they saw me outside letting my dog use the bathroom? My dog was right on que, he couldn't hold his guts any longer and proceeded to use the bathroom in the lobby. I explained this was exactly what I was trying to avoid. At that point, I was upset and shocked by the staff, I asked again if they're sure they can't see me because I was "3 minutes late" even though they saw me outside with my dog.I cleaned up my dog's mess and began to walk out, as I walked out I asked if she was the manager or if I could speak to a manager. Another employee got involved and said to her co-worker it's only 4:06 there is a 15 minute window and then she got the manager involved who also said they could see us.Even though the manager and other employee were helpful and I liked the previous stays I decided not to go through with it since the staff members did not look familiar and customer service from the front desk was pretty horrible. Even the phone call to make the appointment was poor quality. The experience made me uncomfortable and I did not want to give them my money but more importantly I did not trust the quality of care my dog would receive while we were out of town. I was able to find several other boarding facilities that could board my pup with features just as good as or better than Dogtopia. I was also marked as missed appointment in the system which I called to try to get removed then decided I just won't be using Dogtopia again.Previous Review: Took good care of our pup while we were on vacation. Friendly staff!

My girls love both the Manassas and Gainesville locations! The staff is great and all I have to say is “daycare” and they start hopping around like clowns with excitement! These photos are pics that the staff took and sent to me. They are so content!

Dogtopia of Manassas is fantastic. Our puppy is about a year old and gets beyond excited when she sees us pulling into the parking lot. The staff is incredibly friendly, and seems to really care about taking care of our dog. The webcam service is fantastic to check in on your pup! Its a great way to let your pet get their energy out while you are at work! We look forward to many more visits!

My dog loves it here. She is well taken care of when I go on vacation. She eats well, plays hard and gets a lovely bath before coming home. All of the associates are kind but Rachel really stands out for her friendliness and kindsness to the animals. This place is top notch!

I like the fact that every employee is inviting and loving toward myself and my pup. Everyone is always so excited to see Misty and has funny stories to share about her day. I really enjoy the little notes that are sent home.

The assistant manager Abby is one of the most impressive aspects of the Manassas Dogtopia experience. She goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to pet parents and love on our dog and all the dogs at Dogtopia. The drop off and pick up process is seamless, location is convenient, the ability to decide last-minute to drop off our dog for daycare is a lifesaver. We love that the facility is clean and safe.

Great experience, I highly recommend Dogtopia!***EDIT***I have used this place for 5 years and 2 dogs but sadly, after waiting 7 weeks and no call back from the manager to explain why I am still waiting for a $75 credit for an accounting error on their end I have decided to move my boarding elsewhere and save $30 each time without any time restrictions for drop-off and pick-ups. It is worth it at this point to forget the $75 credit and just speak my mind.

I love that my dog can socialize, and exercise in a monitored setting. This gives me peace of mind as well as being able to check in on my dog on the webcams. We’re looking forward to our next play date.

Clover had a blast she always does! They wiped her down daily and the staff followed her medication instructions. I am so grateful for a place like this instead of boarding her in a kennel. I also like the cameras are available to watch my girl have fun playing with her dog friends.

Fantastic facility. Buster, a generally reserved and shy greyhound, uncommonly wags his tale as soon as he sees the ladies at the front desk. After a long day the dog comes back properly stimulated and worn out, quickly falling asleep for the rest of the night. I have used the spa facilities a few times, always comes out fresh. Staff are all very attentive and take the extra time to facilitate any needs your pet might have. Would not hesitate taking your dog there to burn some energy on the way to the office.

Dogtopia in Manassas, VA has always been my favorite place to take my baby BOBO. It was his first time there to meet and greet this past Saturday (1/28/23). I had a couple days in the past that I took to Dogtopia. The staff ( Naomi-the manager, Abby, Adrian, Amanda) are just a few I met so far. They are always nice and friendly. Keep up the great work guys!! :) You all deserve a raise also I hope they of you will get recognize for a job well done!!!It's peace of mind that you know your babies are taken care of. The atmosphere is also welcoming for Bobo. He was shy at first. then he end up loving it and made some friends. I can't wait to take him there again soon. I highly recommend Dogtopia to anyone who loves to spoil their babies. It's also very close to were l live. They will definitely take care of them your babies along with the grooming, over stay, weekly etc. I hope the owner and/or management will be reading this comment. I know people are quick to complain about anything but they don't usual take the time to compliment where is needed.Thank you! Sathia ( Bobo's mom)

We have tried at least 3 of the Dogtopia’s in the area and can highly recommend Dogtopia of Manassas. The staff is friendly and professional. They have great customer service and are very attentive. Naomi has been very helpful, responding quickly to any inquiries we’ve had. They provide a great environment for our pups to play and relax while we’re at work.

I've been extremely disappointed with my last 2 boarding stays. This last time just seemed very very sketchy. I was told RANDOMLY when I picked my dog up that a new strain of kennel cough was going around and to call and let them know if my dog starts hacking. I thought that was very strange to tell me at pick up rather than at drop off. Sure enough I get my dog home and he starts coughing less than 30 mins later!! I 100% believe they already knew he was sick and didn't inform me. So I have no idea how long my poor pup has actually been sick for. He has an URGENT CARE appointment tomorrow that's $140 just to be seen. I'm not mad that mv dog got sick at all, things happen, dogs get sick. My issue is that I absolutely believe they knew he was sick and tried to hide it. I don't know if they didn't tell me because they didn't want me to pick him up and lose out on money or what. My dog was boarded there for 5 nights, costing over $500 and now at LEAST another $140 for a vet appointmentThe time he was boarded before this incident (also a multiple night stay) he was sent home with gash on his ear. His chest was covered in blood. I was told someone would call me the next day to discuss what could have happened, but I got NOTHING. Just another trip to the vet for antibiotics and topical cream to help the ear from bleeding. That trip also cost me over $200.So the last 2 boarding stays have led to more hassle than it's worth. I miss the old owners. Prices have gone up tremendously and care for the pets and customer service seems to have gotten tremendously worse. Very sad to have to find a new place to board my pup.

The staff is kind and you can tell they authentically care about the animals. I can always count on Dogtopia of Manassas when an unexpected emergency arises. They ensure the dogs are vaccinated and are attentive to their needs. I frequently get the grooming services as well and am always satisfied. The feature that I am most happy with is the live cameras you have access to during the day if your dog is being cared for. The app is easy to use and handy.

Nightmare at Dogtopia ManassasIf I could give zero starts I wouldI scheduled an evaluation for care and a spa bath for my dog. I have previously used the spa services for this location, I had no idea what to expect about the daycare and boarding. Needless to say I am beyond sad, disappointed and upset. The young lady that took Dakota for her evaluation explained the process well. I observed my dog in the camara for a good 10-15 minutes. She seemed nervous which anyone can understand since is her first time interacting with such a large amount of dogs. However, when the lady returns she explained the dog seemed nervous, but she had passed the 3 dogs test. She explained to either bringing her other times prior to her possible boarding at the end of July or that sometimes it doesn’t workout for the animal since they get too nervous and it’s not healthy for them.I told the young lady to give my Dakota (my dog) maybe 5-10 minutes more tops and to remove her for her bath. She said fine and I left around 11:45am. Her bath appointment was for 12:00pm, so I imagined that by 2:00 someone would call me to pick her up.I called more than 10-15 times and no one picked up the phone. I got to Dogtopia around 2:40 since no one picked up the phone.I waited in the front desk for 5 minutes and a lady came by grabbed another dog from the person behind me and left without a word. A few minutes passed and she came back to pick another dog from another person. I told her I was there to pick up Dakota. She was like “okay”. She came out one more time with no dog. The fourth time I saw her she brought a golden retriever with Dakota’s collar but it wasn’t Dakota.I told her that wasn’t my dog, looking at her with utter disbelief. She left, and a few minutes later she came out with Dakota panting and nervous. Dakota was about to have a heat stroke. An older lady, that was waiting as well went to the cups and grabbed water from the bathroom and gave Dakota about 3 cups of water and the staff did absolutely nothing. Not only was she nervous, panting, almost heat stroke, she smelled horrible and was filthier than when I left her. No bath, and to top it all they never removed her from the evaluation as I had requested.Another employee, who came out was watching my dog in the floor with the older lady caring for her stated they were understaffed but did not move an inch to assist. She said if I wanted to talk to a manager they would call me. This was Friday, June 17, and as of Tuesday, June 21, no one has contacted me.To recap,You are understaffed but keep on getting dogsYou don’t answer phoneYou gave me the WRONG dogYou left her in with the other dogs when you were instructed to remove herYou failed to provide adequate waterYou failed to assist when my dog was clearly about to have a heat strokeYou did not bathe herNo one has contacted me about anythingWould you leave your pet in this place?UpdateIt has been two weeks and no one has contacted me

I cannot say enough great things about this facility and location!!! The staff goes above and beyond ensuring you and your furbabies are happy. They offer live video feeds so you can check in on your pups, accommodate to any special requests, and they even send you updates via text message (with your consent). I've received photo updates and all.You can truly feel and see that the staff love their job.I 100% recommend Dogtopia in Manassas off of Balls Ford Road!I'm so happy that I've found a place I can comfortably and confidently rely on!

We send our Australian Shepherd to Dogtopia of Manassas once a week for socialization and play time. We board her when we travel out of state for several days and use spa services. The staff are quick to notify us if there is an issue such as an (upset stomach) and are caring. They write nice little cards about her behavior, the pup friends she played with, and her favorite activity (usually wrestling). Sometimes she gets her picture taken or has extra treats for themed days, which are fun to see. I love the extra enrichment opportunities available and that staff know her when we come in. Our dog enjoys her Dogtopia stays. We enjoy being able to check in on her with the play room cameras. I've attached a photo of the valentine's theme photo shoot she did this year.

We really wanted to love Dogtopia, but unfortunately our experience turned into a nightmare. We boarded our dog for several days while on vacation in addition to spa services. When we came to pickup our dog, he was moving very slowly and just looked drained. We figured he is probably exhausted from all the playtime he received. Our dog slept the next 24 hours and wouldn't eat. During this time we also noticed he had some sort of cold and eye infection. He also had a slight fever. We called Dogtopia to see if they had noticed anything during his stay, or if any of the other dogs were sick. They said they hadn't noticed anything. We finally got the dog to eat and saw signs of life returning to him, but realized he was still limping. We took him to the vet who noticed there was an injury to his front right paw which was causing pain and swelling. It is EXTREMELY frustrating that we don't know what happened to our dog there, and that NO ONE noticed he was suffering. His limp is extremely visible, and it should have raised concern from staff at Dogtopia. He came into the facility lively and happy, and left lethargic, injured, and in pain. We have had to pay over $200 for medication as a result, and will need to get x-rays on his injured paw. Our dog had no medical issues when we dropped him off. It's disappointing that no one from Dogtopia seems to care that this happened and turned a blind eye to a sick and injured dog. He received a bath and nail trim an hour before we picked him up. It's hard to believe that no one noticed he was lethargic and in pain. We understand that mistakes and accidents happen but the lack of communication, transparency and honesty is why we will never return.

We had a great experience for our 1.5 year old husky's first grooming/spa day! They brushed him out, cleaned his teeth, dry-washed, and clipped his nails and he was nothing short of a happy pup when we picked him up! We will definitely be coming again.

Great service! We have taken our Siberian Husky there 3 or 4 times, each time has been a great experience. The ladies at the front desk are so kind and helpful, the groomers do an amazing job, and all for a really great, low price.I will honestly never go anywhere else, so happy with Dogtopia!!

We've only been once so far, but I am already so pleased with Dogtopia in Manassas! The meet and greet was a great idea, not only for my dog, Cora, but also to help me feel comfortable with the daycare. I know for a fact that my dog had fun because I could see it on the cameras. I love that they have the app option, so that I can spy on my dog all day. I am an obsessed dog-parent, which means I always cry when I drop off my dog, but I feel 100% comfortable with Dogtopia. The staff was very friendly, loving, and patient. The facility is clean and bright. I can't wait to bring Cora back.

The staff at Dogtopia of Manassas is the absolute best! Due to the pandemic we've been working from home. Our rescue dog liked being with us every day, but she also began developing anti-social behavior because of the lack of interaction with other people and dogs. So we gradually re-introduced her to Dogtopia, and with their gentle and skilled handling of dogs, she slowly became more comfortable. And now she is back to happily playing with her dog friends at day care. This would not have happened without this very caring staff. I highly recommend Dogtopia of Manassas.

Always friendly. My pup never has any issues when I bring her for daycare or boarding. Most places she can't wait to leave but this is the only place where she takes her time so I know she loves it. The staff is great and the hours are convenient. Plus you get to check in on your pet via their webcam. Love it!

Decent facility… however, their pricing is absurd! Be prepared to pay hefty rates here. $40+/day for daycare (530am-700pm) and an additional $30+/day for overnight caging. An additional $30+ to cage a dog is far too high considering the costs of other local facility options. The staff is friendly but their system is slow and owners are left standing in a line with their dog(s) for 15+ minutes. Creates chaos in the lobby when their are multiple owners checking in or picking up their pup. This place needs reduced pricing and a serious overhaul their administrative / check in/out process.

They are wonderful! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. At the last minute we unexpectedly needed to overnite our two puppies due to a medical need for my husband. They were accommodating and it was a gigantic relief to know our puppies were in good hands. We definitely would recommend their service. We will be going therefor our puppies care.
