We have been here a few times and both times the food was ok and the service was great but the manager or owner is not a pleasant guy. This time we sat outside on the patio with our dog and some friends. We were talking to the waitress and the guy comes and says can I have my waitress back? Who says that when she was talking to a customer?? Then there is a camera and speaker from the kitchen in the corner, he turned the speaker on and was listening to us outside, we could tell cause we heard the noise from inside! We definitely will not be going back.

This place is a hidden gem. It's unfortunate for me that I just discovered this place and I am moving across the country and won't make it back. The waitress was so attentive the food hot and delicious! Make a point to get off the highway 250 in Maidens, you will not be disappointed.They have a live band on Tuesdays and outdoor seating overlooking a serene green space.

We had the weekend only BBQ pulled pork with two sides. The BBQ was tough (chewy) and filled with fat. The cold slaw was on the yellowish side and soggy. The baked beans were very sweet,not too bad if you like them that way. The hush puppies a bit over cooked but ok. I have had their pizza on other occasions and it was delicious. The BBQ meal was a huge disappointment. Maybe they should just stick with pizza and Italian dishes. We probably won't eat there again.

9/27: We had dinner here again tonight. It was excellent. Food was fresh, seasoned well and good portions. Service was spot on. Return? Absolutely!Wow great place. Clean friendly and fresh food. We sat on their back deck away from the road super chill. Service was great and pizza was top notch.

Best pizza in town! I moved into the area a few months ago and have ate at this location at least once a week. The staff is always very friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve tried several items (all great) but my favorite meal is a large pizza with a side of garlic knots. This place also does live music on Tuesday evenings (acoustic county music) which is very nice. Would highly recommend this location!

We frequently eat at this local restaurant and enjoy the consistently delicious food and friendly service. But tonight, I tried the special Chicken Mediterrania - it was fabulous! Even my picky son tried it, and gave it the biggest compliments. The bonus of having the charming chef Alex visit our table with stories of Italy and this specific dish. Without trying, both the entree and bread ended up in our favorite heart shape. Topped off by gelati celeste.....favoloso!Kid-friendliness: They just started Wednesday special - kids eat free with parent meals

Finally got dinner from here and only 5 minutes from my house! Their Calamari and Pizza (I got jalapenos & tomatoes as my toppings) were absolutely delicious. As well as their Tiramisu for dessert. The Fettucine Alfredo needed a little more flavor but we still finished it. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful first experience at GG’s Pizza! Our waiter was friendly and checked on us often, the owner was wonderful as well. Food was delicious and the homemade Tiramisu was so good. Love the outdoor space. Will definitely be back!

Functionally this is a pizza. I arrived a couple mins after the order stated food would be ready for pickup. The staff hustled in the back to start whipping the dough when I walked in. Presentation was lack luster with toppings bunched up and unevenly placed. I really want this place to be great but dominos is becoming my goto after too many let downs from gigi.

Each ingredient has the fresh taste as if there was a garden out back. The pizza crust was flaky like a southern style biscuit but the flavor of the flour reminds you its a pizza!!

What Luck!! Any travelers passing GG's better stop here for some of the best pizzas you'll ever get on the road!! We were boasting the whole way home with 3 personal size pizzas how nothing is this good down by us in Newport News! The Gentlemen who helped, I believe, credited his mother for the recipes?! He was very hospitable with our short stay for a pick-up order as well. Top-Notch, GG!! Your legacy lives!! 😜😘💞🤟🏼

We had a very special 80th birthday party at GG's, reserving their outdoor seating area for our private gathering. The space was ready at the time arranged with Alex (the manager), and even a bit early so we could set up party decorations we had brought with us. The food that had been previously arranged for the party was ready on time and served hot, fresh, and delicious by an attentive wait staff. Attention was paid by our smiling, courteous, and friendly waitress, Ava, as to any needs we had, taking drink orders and making sure they were checked and refilled as needed. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I would recommend this restaurant, it's space, it's food and it's staff to any and everyone. Thank you for making it such a special occasion.

2nd time here, and we'll definitely be returning in the future. The staff is attentive and on point. And Alex? He really is a funny guy!!!! He had us laughing all through dinner. When we look to add a restaurant to our rotation, the food is only half of it. We look at the general atmosphere, and how we're treated. Alex made us feel like we had already been here every week prior to Saturday night. Very welcoming, friendly, and so very funny. Love this restaurant. Good food, huge helpings, and excellent staff. My wife suggested we have lunch here today. It is only eleven minutes from our home so sounded like a good idea. It turned out to be a great idea! We happened to go in at a time on a Tuesday when traffic was low So, as first time customers, we had the full attention of the owner. He did not disappoint. He was engaging without being intrusive. He is a great story teller and has a great sense of humor! The food was everything you would expect from a great Italian restaurant! My wife has to have gluten free so we opted for a gluten free pizza. My wife had a caesar salad without croutons and I had a bowl of clam chowder before the pizza came out. Both were delicious. Then the pizza arrived at our table. We have eaten many a gluten free pizza through the years. Some taste like nothing more than cardboard with some sauce thrownon top. It really isn't that easy to find a good tasting gluten free pizza. We are so happy to have found this restaurant that served us an excellent gluten free pizza!! We had been getting gluten free pizza from Domino's in Oilville, picking it up and bringing it back home. We were never fond of the gluten free pizza at Domino's. Gigi's gluten free pizza far surpasses it! It was delicious! The owner can count on us coming back again and again. We loved the music being played. We loved the feel of the place on the inside. There's a lovely patio with seating to eat on as well but it was a bit chilly today so we opted to stay inside. Bravo to the owner for opening this little gem of a place in the county!
