I was recently amazed to see how much this store front has changed for the better. Not only do they sell all of the highest quality electric and gas tools (Milwaukee/Stihl) but their customer service is fantastic. This place will save me from multiple long trips to Lowe’s out in Ruckersville. Prices are extremely competitive as well.

I needed sandpaper for festool vacuum sander. Called a few places that didnt have it. So, I called cardinal in Madison who assured me they had it. Wanted to be sure before i made the 30+ minute drive. I told him its rectangle hook and loop sandpaper with holes in it for the festoolHe said yes we definitely have it. It will be on aisle 3. So I made the drive out there to fibd out they dont have it. Smh pretty upsetting!

Horrible materials. As a fence installer my materials must be high quality. Boards are covered in mold, severely cracked and checked. When I spoke with them they said too bad. The boards were cut horribly on ends as well. Very very disappointed. Multiple bundles of boards and posts averaged 25% unusable.

Fast response from Cardinal Home Center. I needed 25 fence 16' boards and John helped me choose among the 6 wood options and then get them delivered the next morning at 0730. Of the 25 boards, 22 were excellent quality, 3 were low quality. I walked through all the aisles and found more than I expected. It's the largest selection of Milwaukee power tools I've ever seen. It's close to my property and I appreciated the very good service. I'll definitely be back.

Quality wood, great customer service. I live an hour and half away. Best place to go! Called the store placed my order and had a family member pick it up. Was so happy when I got it. When my husband came home and saw the wood he was surprised, can't get this quality at Lowe's. Cost was perfect, too. I want beautiful wood no matter what the project, I was not disappointed. So glad I found them.

I lived in Madison for a few years before realizing that this store is for everyone, not just contractors. I often go to Lowes for my home improvement needs, but next time I buy tools, I will definitely shop here. My first time here was for zip ties and I didn't want to drive all the way to Culpeper or Ruckersville. First thing I noted was that the guys here are so professional and extremely nice and helpful. Probably the friendliest people I've seen in a retail store in a long while. Any time I come in there's someone ready to help me find what I need. This store is bright and clean! There is often a food truck in the parking lot. So convenient! By the way, they have an impressive selection of zip ties.

Young man behind the register saw me walk up and looked at me and turned his back to me. Eventually an older gentleman helped me. When I posted a comment on a female employees Facebook page she totally blasted me and said I was too negative. Obviously the staff needs a refresher course on customer service. If you need help, just walk in the door. I was looking around while my husband was taking care of the reason we were there. I was asked three times if I needed help. How nice. This is not a big box hardware. Nice quality, it's where we go for straight wood. Try here first. They didn't sell metal wash tubs but told me where to find it.

MWP Building Supply is a terrific place to get anything for your home. They have an army of people ready to help you with whatever you want. Friends of mine also had MWP install and maintain their swimming pool and they did a fabulous job!

Small Town atmosphere , staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A bit more expensive than Lowe's, but it's closer by, AND, you can buy guns and ammo at MWP, which is a great feature!!!

Other reviews are crazy, or privileged types. That have always been very helpful with me and go out of their way to make sure I have what I need. If you can't find something you will here, like old school service. Love them!

MVP 4 MWP! Wide aisles, clean shelves with everything you need. You can overhear the friendly staff talking to regular clients, and when you checkout feel like a local.

I would not recommend going there unless you dire strait have to every time I go there you never can get waited on they act like they're so busy standing around chit-chatting with the good old boys you never can get waited on do not go there if you don't have to
