Took my dogs for their first ever grooming experience! Everyone was so nice and made the process so easy with my crazy dogs! Harris was my cashier and was super sweet and answered many questions for me. And Hannah was the groomer! Amazing is an understatement! She was super sweet as well and my dogs looked and smelled amazing!!!! Highly recommend this store and ask for Hannah for all your grooming needs! You won’t be disappointed:) Thanks again guys!

I bought this stumpy beautiful pink and tangerine bearded dragon. I watched it for 4 months waiting for a mature age to see if it was a female for my male and if fate would have me be the owner. She was perfect now shes down a foot, a toe and a tip of the tail ! For people who have a sign of how well they take care of their reptiles 7 day guarantee they should of known they were too big to be housed and if not the first injury should have warranted separation the nubs were completely healed and tail freshly bitten off! This baby got stumped out and there's 1 more there just the same. I bought it anyways to save it wish I bought her back in December !

Love the store and the staff. Always friendly and nice. I’ve been taking my goldendoodle to Katie since her first groom, she is just wonderful! We’ve been going for three years and will continue. I now have another pup and he’s very shy, Katie is great with him too.

Spent like 650 .00 on pet supplies fence a invisible 300.00 for that bed pillows shock collar and flood its been 6 months just opened box and collar does not want u didn't mind getiing my money !!! Rip off never will I spend anymore of my money I'm gonna share this so others will no how sorry u r no more grooming either CROOKS

Friendly staff. Many products you and your pet will love. I know my Butch loves to come in and watch dogs get their hair cut and see the animals available for adoption. Some precious kitties there the day we went. Butch loved them cause they didn't hiss and slap at him like the cats he has at home..lol

Best place for a cut my Dutchess hates getting her hair cut but she wasn't nervous when I picked her up so I know it was a good experience for her. We will be returning!!!

So my GFs dog was skunked the night before the snow hit. He stayed in the basement overnight and by morning the ground was white but we new we had to do something about Sea Bass and his skunk smell. We called Petsense and Katie took us on despite the weather. Katie was so amazing and patient with Sebastian! Keep in mind he's never been given a traditional bath bc he lives on a river so this made him even more of a challenging client as he was scared of the wash nozzle and dryer. We thought for sure that they would tell us never to come back but they were patient, loving and understanding and were able to get Seabass skunk free! They even educated us on products that would help rid the smell in the house or on clothes and recommend a shampoo we could use if it ever happens again. We WILL definitely be back to Petsense Madison Heights! Thanks y'all!

The groomer there works excellent with my dog. My dog has anxieties, but she was patience with my dog. She cut her hair around her face short the I wanted. Melissa is the groomer, she is very professional & does a terrific job.

I love the manager and you can bring your pet in to the store. The ladies always make a big deal over your dog. My dog Rosie loves going in there. The groomer is very patient with your dog and she even grooms cats. The employees are wonderful.

We love this pet store!!!!🐾😺😼😽🙀😾🐶. We have 5 cats and one dog and they love the True Source food. The prices are better than any of the large box pet stores. Great staff very accommodating, great attitudes very helpful. We are very grateful they came to Madison Heights they save us a trip from Ward's Road!!

Love this place. I go in every couple of weeks on payday and get a big bag of reduced price dog food. The only way I could ever get my 6 dogs some high end food at a reasonable price!

Decent place for pet supplies. Not as much variety as Petsmart or Petco but this place is half the size of those.A little pricey but beats running into Walnutz for a bag of food.* Two years later and I have to add this - been there 1000 times since the last review and I just wish that one time someone who works there would have a little better personality and more drive than a old dried up sponge. The staff have the WORST personalities I've ever seen collected in one place at once.It's like shopping in a bowl of unseasoned instant mashed potatoes - bland.There are other jobs if you hate this one so much.

Groomers and very nice and good w the animals. I like Katie especially. She is friendly and knowledgeable. The reception I received initially was a lil frosty out front and I Was late bc I cldnt find my fur baby's Rabies card and had to go pick one up from the vet, but the ppl warmed up after I got into the grooming room w the other ladies so I can't complain and I will use Katie again plus this Pet Sense is most convenient to where I live. All in all I was pleased. So I wld recommend them to others.

This store is convenient for Amherst county residents who would rather not travel all the way down to Wards Road in Lynchburg for pet supplies. However, convenience comes at a price. Prices are generally higher than PetSmart and PAW. Prices for dog treats and frozen rodents are very high.

Employees aren't friendly, or helpful. Also not knowledgeable on pets and equipment they are selling. And I paid for my dog to get shampoo and brush and had pretty much do it wanted me to hold him he hole time n no discount nothing

The groomer, Katie, did an amazing job with my Bernese Mountain dog, Bear. He felt comfortable with her and was a very good boy. I would recommend Katie if you have a large dog that needs to be groomed.

My dogs have been groomed every couple of months since they were born. (6 yrs ols) The young girl there needs some help or pointers. She couldn't even touch either of my pups.
