got off work super late and needed to get a handful of necessities and two not so necessary items, all of which I could previously accounted for and knew the location of in store- milk, bread for my lunch, paper towels, AA batteries, a painting craft for my son because he broke his and desperately wanted a replacement(the important part.) I walk up to the door and it stays shut, I check the schedule “7-9 every day”, as I glance down my eyes meet an employees, I then check my watch and it’s 8:51. I understand the employees want to be home, want to get cleaned up, want to do whatever. I understand there’s a walmart a mile or so away. I don’t understand how you could see someone is at your stores door with NINE minutes until you close and ignore them completely. I don’t understand why they couldn’t even follow their own schedule. It’s pure laziness and selfishness. I wouldn’t be so upset if walmart had the crafts my son wanted, or even something close. They didn’t and I had to direct his and my frustration somewhere.

DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR FEDEX!!!! I dropped off an expensive package at this location luckily it was scanned in but happened to get “misplaced” prior to being picked up. Manager was no help now dealing with FedEx to file a claim.

Shelly, the store manager is extremely nice and helpful. She greeted me with a smile and asked what she could help with and just had the best customer service to be a dollar general!

I do like this store. The isles were tight and crowded. We went straight in and out. Didn't have to wait long at the register but they did have a line. I do feel like they needed a bigger store for the amount of stuff they have. I'm giving it 4 stars because of the amount of stuff out on the floor for a Saturday.

This particular Dollar General has great customer service. The store is usually well organized so items are easy to find. Overall the store is well kept!

I ALWAYS come here for anything I need to hurry and grab. They have almost all of the things I need, and for a good price! The selection is great for such a small store, and the employees are very friendly and hardworking.

Shop here all the time. It's not great for clothing but great stop for Dog food and treats and the occasional grocery or toiletries.

Convenient and quick although i was in Lynchburg takeing my grand daughter there because she lives there but it was nice and clean and about an hr and 15 minets from Waynesboro but all in all nice ride lots to look at
