Received lots of assistance buying a large board for my šŸ›Œ bed from the very knowledgeable and professional staff; particularly, the forklift driver wearing an enormous loop of keys šŸ”‘ šŸ”‘ šŸ”‘ ā¬…ļø (Xs 10). I also have my own helper 😊 and had two different types of carts.

I’m literally 5 minutes from Lowe’s in Madison Heights and will drive 10 minutes to come to Home Depot and today reminded me why. I’m currently fixing a bed that my aunt gave me where the pieces inside of the slacks are broken, so I’m fixing them. I don’t consider myself a ā€œhandy manā€ but it’s one of those things where if things need to be done, I GET THEM DONE! Today, Ethan assisted me with getting the proper measurements for the piece of wood I needed to hold up the mattress and was really patient with me! The customer service that was provided to me today was superior!!

With a snow storm coming this weekend, this Florida family was getting concerned. I headed to Home Depot to see what they had to help us prepare.As soon as I got to the garden area, Calvin arrived to see if I needed any help. I was instantly relieved to have someone to guide me! He showed me the items I had mentioned (ice melt, a salt spreader, and on to snow blowers) and loaded all the things into my cart! I’m not exactly sure what I would have done without Calvin’s help. Loading 40 pounds of salt would have been a struggle for sure!!! Then, after I checked out, he loaded it all in my car! What a fantastic employee Calvin is and I have to say, it’s an exception to the rule these days. It’s unusual to find employees nationwide that aren’t inconvenienced while helping customers. Hold on to that guy. He represents Home Depot very well with his work ethic and attitude in general. ā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļø for Home Depot, AND for Calvin!

Appointment this morning to install a washer and dryer. Installer said the screws were stripped on the dryer and they had a hard time putting on the pigtail. Then they couldn’t put the vent pipe on our vent pipe without an adapter. Said we needed to get an adapter from Home Depot. Then said they had to go. Left our appliances in the living room and went to leave. Couldn’t get there truck started and ask if we could give them a jump. So, we went out, got soaked and jumped there truck. Called about them finishing the job today and we’re told, we can’t come back till Saturday. Home Depot says they can’t do anything because they are 3rd party contractors. Highly upset right now. I’d love to know the business name of their 3rd party contractors! I’d wear there phones out! You spend thousands of dollars, you should expect some service. Never again Home Depot!!!!

Attempting to source lumber from this Home Depot that is not bent, chipped, split, or knotted beyond reasonable use is an impossibility. You would have an easier time planting pinecones, letting them grow for 20 years, and then milling the lumber yourself.

I'm hit or miss with home Depot one day I go in the have everything I need next time not so much, I can say getting irritated with the flat cart(big ones for sheet goods) situation the aisles will be full of online orders using up all the carts had to go all the way to the parking lot to get one one day or have to walk around store looking

Very aggravated that I was sold what was an open box tv mount with several parts missing. It seems something like this wouldn’t be put back on the shelf to be sold without being checked to make sure all pieces were there but alas.

Definitely super helpful team members! My husband and I ordered a shed and some of the employees helped us load the shed into our vehicle for us.Hector and Elizabeth both really stood out to me. In store Hector was very kind and helpful. He had a lot of knowledge about the kinds of items we still needed to purchase and pointed us in the right direction.Elizabeth was very professional over the phone and very good at communicating with us.Overall, all the employees were very helpful in the store and over the phone. The staff members were kind and friendly.

I am extremely upset with this Home Depot ā€˜s managerial skills. One and one half months ago I paid for a door and installation. After the installer coming out 3 times to change his mind over inner swing or outer swing, they decided outer swing. I gave them no hard time over either. Noah said a fee for extra supplies and he would send a new invoice.Two days later, the new invoice looks like the old invoice. I figured, ā€œ customer satisfaction ā€œ, way to go.Nope. They called to tell me my door was in and they wanted almost $900 more dollars. ā€œHell noā€! You want profanity Manager Chris, let’s party! Mthfcker. How do you like that profanity?! You don’t give me my $2000 refund and you will hear even more!My son spends thousands in Home Depot. No more!

The staffs are always helpful and friendly. A lady even offered the kids' workshop kit as we entered the store. And every time we’ve been to this store, an employee always asks if we need help with anything. So much easier to navigate the store with fewer crowds than Lowes. The store is clean and organized too.

They are what you'd expect with stuff for building and repairs. However, the staff was of no help. They claimed that they didn't carry organizational supplies for cabinets, which okay I can buy that, and said we should go to Hobby Lobby. Or buy online. Why is there a store, why do you have a job if you're going to send me away? Very disappointing and I won't be back.

Home Depot.Everyone has been there at one point or another. Well in November, I ordered a total of 6 major home appliances from the Lynchburg Home Depot. Of course, they were on backorder till January, but just about everyone is, so I agree, signed the contract, and paid thousands of dollars for these items.The real problem appeared on the delivery day, when I took off work to meet the delivery men, they never showed and the Home Depot app said that the order was lost. Later that evening I received a notification on my email stating they had been there and we were not there to accept the delivery. Additionally, we have several ring cameras on our property, they blatantly lied, they had never been on our property.This fiasco, happed again. On the third time, we had a window of 2pm-6pm, I received a call at 7am saying they were coming and we're a few minutes away. Needless to say, we rushed over to meet them, hours before our appointment. When we first ordered the appliances, I informed Home Depot that nothing above a 20 ft truck would fit in our driveway, they said that it would not be a problem, and the delivery company had access to smaller trucks. So this being the third try, they showed up with a thirty ft box truck, which was sitting at the end of our driveway. This truck of course did not fit. We requested to see our appliances, which the very kind delivery men obliged. When we saw them, we were horrified, they we completely beat up. The delivery men said that there instructions were to deliver even with the knowledge that the appliances were beat up horribly. Of course we refused delivery.After yet another multi-hour call with Home Depot online, they assured me that the appliances would be be sent from Samsung and Home Depot in Lynchburg would deliver them. We had an appointment set up for the following week, but when I called to receive a time block for the delivery they said they were not coming and I would have to wait.Two weeks later (today) I received an email requesting me to call the local store. When I did I was told that my money would be refunded, and I would not be receiving the appliances. Even after I offered to pick them up myself, they still said no.After 30+ hours of time lost from work and school, not to mention being without appliances for months, they refused to take accountability for the delivery company that they partner with. The solution was to offer me a gift card worth a fraction of the price of the appliances that we were unable to purchase from them.So I ask everyone on this page to take great care before ordering from the Lynchburg store as they refuse to take responsibility for their actions not their delivery partners. Let's hold these companies accountable for their actions.

Polite, animal friendly. Had what we needed for our project. Definitely geared towards the contractor and not the home owner but I appreciate that. Also, it’s worth checking lowes vs Home Depot for pricing on things like 2x4’s & insulation.
