Terrible experience....clearly communicated with groomers the style and length of cut we wanted, 2-3 inch remaining puppy cut...and supplied pictures....what we got was a1/4" length summer cut...horrible, choppy, and uneven...WARNING : DO NOT take your dog to this store....

Rude employees & they hate helping anyone . They mistreat there animals. Their prices are insane. Their employees are uneducated in the knowledge of knowing how to care for any of their pets or even knowledgeable of how to tell potential buyers how to care for them or any basic questions about their animals. If i could give them zero stars I 100% would ! Also there grooming stations across the United States have been sued for wrongful death of dogs , animal abuse & mistreatment of an animal.

I love this store. They price match and are always patient and gracious. After a particularly horrible online order experience (I will never order online from PetSmart again unless it’s all free!) with little-to-no support from Customer Care, I brought both cases of damaged/opened cans of cat food back to PetSmart. The manager was incredibly helpful, as was Sarah. They refunded my damaged purchases with no issue. And that’s just one of the the reasons I love this store. ❤️❤️❤️

I highly recommend Stephanie G at Petsmart Grooming! My dog Splenda absolutely loves her. Stephanie is so gentle and loving towards animals and I love knowing my dog is in great hands! I am so glad I found Stephanie and are going to continue booking her for all our grooming/bath needs! ❤️

Has a little bit of everything. We use this place for dogs. If you catch their sales you save a ton! We got a ton of Christmas stuff for our pups 🐶 and hardly spent much. We visit often. Tons of parking too which is nice

Macey is great! Annie leaves looking like a little angel every time. Annie gets excited when we pull into the parking lot because she knows where she is. Lol! My dog is allergic to almost everything..vet recommended certain foods to go and get and this amazing staff member (I wish I could remember her name) helped me and explained to me everything that my dog needs daily .... highly recommend

Got to the store at 6:35 to purchase a Guinea Pig for my daughter after driving almost an hour because I live in Penhook. She had immediately picked out the one she wanted and told the associate we wanted to buy one. She radioed in needing assistance for someone come get one out and then I was told by her “my boss said we aren’t taking anymore animals out tonight”. Very disappointing that I drove an hour and was there almost a full 30 minutes before closing and now I have a crying/upset daughter because she wanted a Guinea Pig after her last one died last week.

Took my shih-tzu, Ellie, to get groomed by Mandy S. and we got Ellie back and am just disappointed in how she looks. Mandy did not look happy to be there and wasn’t friendly. They had Ellie for 4 hours just to say they couldn’t trim her nails and her hair looks patchy with some long pieces still uncut. Petsmart used to be good, but is going downhill with their groomers. The prices are too high for this to be happening.

Took our toy poodle for a "Bath & Brush" on 6/2/20. I usually clean my dog's ears every couple weeks, but was not able to since we just moved to VA from NY and have a lot going on. The service we paid for included " ear cleaning, hair removal, and/or flushing". On 6/7/20 I checked my dog's ears after several days of him rubbing his head on the carpet. When I checked, it was absolutely disgusting. I spent 20 minutes pulling hair and cleaning his ears. They did a great job on his haircut and nail trimming, but completely neglected his ears. I normally don't post negative reviews, but am pretty upset since this can affect the health of our dog. This was a service that we paid for that obviously didn't happen.

Called to make a groomer appointment. Due to my disability, requested assistance with getting my dog inside the building for his safety and mine. I was refused assistance and told that they do not do that anymore. I understand a legal issue if something were to happen with my dog, but you would think there would be some type of accommodations made for those costumers that have a disability. Very disappointed.

NEVER bringing my dog to get groomed here again! I dropped my dog off today to get washed, brushed, ears cleaned, and a nail trim and she was fine when I left, the groomer Gabrielle even did an assessment on her and all was fine. I get a call an hour later with a woman saying Gabrielle wouldn't groom her, that I needed to come get her because she was swaying and lathargic and implied I sedated her which DID NOT happen! When they brought her out to me they noticed she was bleeding from her front paws. After they checked her they said it was from a cracked nail on both paws. When I looked her over she did not have cracked nails and was not lathargic. I would love to know what happened to my dog during the hour she was there considering they didn't groom her, at all, and she was bleeding! My dog is an old, sweet, gentle, and calm girl that I love very much. I am so mad that this happened to her while in their care. I don't recommend anyone bring there beloved pet here to get groomed.

Clean, well-stocked store. The big chain stores don't carry the brand my dog usually eats, so I only stopped in to buy "emergency" food the week I moved to the area. The staff was polite, it was easy to find things, and I was in and out of the store quickly.

Adopted a stray kitten. Got her first vet visit today. She did so good got a new litter box ,toy , and pop up cube tent. Petsmart has everything you would want and some clearance items too. Everyone is very freindly and helpful too.

The people that work here were very friendly it was clean fun I could take my dog in and she had a great time and pick yourself out a nice big bone. I love PetSmart in general and this one was specifically wonderful as well.

Came by with the kiddos. The kids wanted to look at grooming tools for their dog.When we got to the aisle, an associate approached, (I didn’t catch her name) she asked if she could help us with anything. That was nice to see if we needed help..but what she said was very disrespectful and rude. She asked why we are looking at grooming tools for a dog. She said “I don’t see a dog with you” I told her the dog is at home. She said “oh, sure it is” in a sarcastic sounding tone. As she was walking away, she said “If you had a dog, you would bring it, you wouldn’t leave it at home”.What a strange person. Doubting someone owns a pet is a great way to gain customers!! The store itself is really nice and probably the best pet store in Lynchburg I’ve been coming here since I moved here. The grooming section I would stay away from. I went in there today to ask how it works and what the prices are and they were all yelling at the animals and at each other. I’m not sure if they were having a bad day maybe but it was kind of wild how nasty they were.
