We walked in and went to look around and as soon as we walked in the two people at the front were as nice as could be and they also have a great selection of new and use guns that you can walk around and pick up and hold without having to ask the clerk. The older man in the shop really knows a great deal about the guns that they have and i was very satisfied with my purchase. I had a great experience, and if I lived in Virginia I would be at this shop 3 times a week

When I moved here, I called and the owner informed me that I couldn't buy a firearm for 30 days, then hung up on me. I called back thinking we got disconnected, he answered and asked why I called back and then proceeded to tell me to call him when I could buy something. I've been there once since then, the other staff were nice, but I refuse to buy anything but ten cent targets from this owner. Many other choices in the area with WAY BETTER prices on firearms and much better selection.

You absolutely need to go here!!!!.....if you want to experience what it must feel like to be the only woman in prison with a bunch of male death row inmates! Be sure to bring your Vaseline, because you’ll need it. I don’t know how this place stays in business. It’s either A.) Only rich people ship here and don’t care if they get ripped off, or B.) People who do buy here don’t do their homework before hand. WAY overpriced. A new glock, just about anywhere, is 529 to 539. Here it’s 629. Every gun, powder, bullet, etc I price compared was too expensive here. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because they have a decent selection in stock, and if you don’t know what you want, you can handle it there, but then order it from somewhere else!

The owner is rude and disreapectful, the one older gentleman was polite and would cut you a deal. But the owner would sock it to you on the price. I will never go back after the rude sarcastic comment he made to me while i was waiting on a background check to go through. I take all my business to W&W Novelty now, if Steve doesnt have it he will normally have it in 2 to 3 days and im always told thanks for the business and a handshake. Always polite and will continue to get my business.

Everything is very expensive. Truth be told most of the guns in that shop are overpriced about 40 to 50 percent, but it was the only place around where I could find a shotgun bead sight. If you want good stuff at a halfway decent price, I would recommend W W Novelties.

I went in expecting some pretty decent deals for being a hole in the wall place but that wasn't the case. They had an xdm 10mm 4.5" that caught my eye because the asking price was $730. The MSRP is $650. grabagun has it for $515. I have no idea how this place stays in business unless their customers don't know about the internet. Also ammo prices are hard to find but Walmart down the road would be cheaper. They should price match any guns and ammo so Walmart and online stores don't get all the business. The lever guns there were awesome but again way above what you can easily find online. They also don't have a website

Went in to buy a gun with my husband. Two sales associates were right in front of us and never said anything. It was a few minutes later that another clerk asked if we needed some help. Did not feel like they needed or wanted my business. Went to Martinsville to a dealer there who treated us great. We bought two guns from a store in Martinsville. Tried to buy local but treated like a door mat at Ace. Ace is not the place.

When buying something that involves a haz mat fee, Ace generally has a pretty good price. However, their other reloading stuff is on the high end. I would suggest going to the internet so long as you do not need a haz mat item. For all guns, I have gone to Black Dog sporting goods out in the Forest area. He runs out of his basement and doesn't have to pay a staff. A lot less overhead so he charges less for guns. On average I have saved about $150 for the same gun. I bought a 44 Ruger Super Redhawk from him and it was about $200 cheaper than a used older Blackhawk at Ace. Other guns like a couple Spring fields I bought were only like $100 less at Black Dog but still, that is a lot!

They are informative but their prices are leas to be desirable. I bought a used Glock 36 Gen. 3 for almost $700. Ridiculous!
