We love this Kroger primarily because of the staff. My husband is a star at this location and knows just about everyone by name. They are kind and loving to my toddler son and the help in every department has always been stellar. I use self check-out exclusively, but often need assistance and never wait more than a minute to get it.I am very comfortable here as it is in my neighborhood and I'm familiar with the lay out--my review is based on my comfort. While the Forest location offers far more variety in produce, etc, I am satisfied with this Kroger because of the convenience. They offer enough selection of a few things that are mandatory for me: organic produce and gluten-free frozen/packaged foods.From time to time I use the pick-up and delivery options from Kroger and that has also been a pleasure. They have called before replacing items that are not in stock. The one time I had an issue, I was offered a gift card for the inconvenience.It may be because I am blessed by the Universe, but every time I park there I get a space right by the cart return.I have lost my wallet there twice and both times the staff have retrieved it and held it for me. This speaks to their honesty and the honesty of the customers who shop there (and also my favor by the Universe...).

My local store on Boonesboro Rd is frequently poorly stocked. It is hit or miss as to wether an item will be available. This can even apply to basic grocery items.

This Kroger has the worst customer service. They consistently have disgusting bathrooms and refused to clean them up and after a hard days work I swung in was still 10 minutes before closing and they tell me they’re closed.

Do you like shopping with the dumbest people in the grocery business? Do you like presenting an issue with your card at self check out only to have the rep ask you if you have chosen the correct language while the system is clearly screaming at you in the language that you speak? Do you like have nothing in stock? Then this is the Kroger for you. Where low inventory meets trash employees, that is the way of this Kroger.

I love everything about the Old Harris Teeter, besides that they dont have MTO sub sandwiches as most grocery stores do. The selection is second to none and the butchery is the best in town. This kroger literally makes the Forest Kroger feel like you are shopping at Kmart. My only recommendation is, for god sakes fix the damn 1 door entrance. It creates bottleneck and we all know what happens when you mix, neck and bottles...it becomes messy!

Would you please clear the aisles so people can push the carts with ease and speed up the process of shopping for groceries without having to stop at every corner waiting for shoppers to pass by. The amount of displays makes the aisles super crowded specially around the pharmacy heading to the freezers.. keep in mind there are women shopping with strollers, elders with walkers or other devices and I saw someone even with a service dog. I mean for the amount of customers you have and the parking lot already being so thigh I would expect the store to be a little more decongested.

So I just got to my car and realized that the bag of pistachios I bought rang up at 4.99 when the sign said in very large print to 2.99 so when I go in to customer service and tell her I was overcharged she walks me back and in tiny letters it says digital coupon. 🤨 who has time nowadays to sit clip these digital coupons just give the price already! this in my opinion is very inconvenient. so now I paid 4.99, because she clearly was excited to reject me in a hasty tone and say “ITS DIGITAL ONLY and I asked her is there anyway you can help me this time because I didn’t realize I am a Kroger member anyway, and she ignored me , the older lady working the customer servicethere’s no need to be rude. Kroger enough with these annoying digital coupons just letus put our phone number in, get the discount and keep it moving.

Meat department supposed to be open until 8 as the sign says. Drove all the way into town to find out the meat department closed at 6. The employee explained they are short staffed - that’s not an excuse!! Being short staffed means you don’t pay your employees a fair wage and you should be ashamed! Thanks for the inconvenience!

This is a dirty, over priced, under stocked, mis managed, store. I went here for years and it has been only going down hill. They never have the shelves stocked(even pre covid) always dirty. Most employees are worthless and managers are never helpful. I never thought I'd say that Walmart is cleaner and more helpful than kroger. It's worth the little bit of a drive for Aldi and Walmart. And last but not least I've checked Dole and Taylor farms salads after recalls for listeria and they still have them being sold at this store.

Don't love the organization of products. Have shop here often enough to be familiar but still have a hard time tracking down things.Floral department is great.Some of the employees, especially in the deli are often not very appropriate in the work place calling loudly to each other and I have often heard them complaining loudly to one another about other employees or work in general.Not my favorite place to shop on a regular basis.

Kinda small, cramped and oddly laid out.Also a cell service dead spot, at least when it comes to Verizon.They do have a great produce department.The meat counter is way too small.I'll shop here again for sure, but it would be nice to have a better flow through the store.

The pharmacy here is horrible. I’ve decided to try something new. Every time I’m here to pick up something from the pharmacy and have to wait for more than 20 minutes and there’s a huge line I’m going to leave a negative review! Pick another pharmacy if your looking

The workers here are very, very good. They make 8.35 an hour people. How excited can you get to help some grouch making that kind of money? They are people the same as everybody else and should be treated with respect in order to receive it from them. The customer base here is very well off, and many very old; they are used to excellent service. But at no time are these workers lazy. Pay them 15 and hour and watch them buzz like bees. You get what you pay for.

Worst Kroger I’ve ever been to the items they sell are good the part of Kroger that is awful is there management. They are unprofessional going off on their employees in front of customers. Also the manger charollette is very rude giving people mean looks including myself.

No cell service inside this store. Be sure you have complete recipes, coupons, and a full list from your family before you go in. Welcome to 1988.Typical of many items: Store offers 30 different strawberry yogurts and no raspberry yogurt, etc. No keto creamer, but 20 different vanilla creamers. 15 different Oreo options but no low cal packs. 40 different spaghetti sauces but no pesto.Would be really nice to see more variety and not so many duplicates. Stock the best 5 options of one item and give us more variety. PLEASE.

Ho hum grocery store, used to be better. Parking not great. There are any number of items I formerly bought here that are no longer stocked. Good bread is the most annoying. Downturn came gradually after Forest Kroger opened. Upper management clearly downgraded this Kroger to one of their down-market stores. It's a shame. I use Fresh Market sometimes now, or even Aldi. Forest Kroger is just too far.

We really like just about everything eith Krogers. Giant selections of every imaginable. Fresh foods are always, well, FRESH! Well lighted, well labeled isles lots.of self check out but also plenty of full service check out too. Their gas is always competitive and with "gas points" usually the best price anywhere. We have found their people to be well trained, knowledgeable, and helpful. And they have a STARBUCKS for all us coffee lovers.

Thank you to Debra, in the floral department, who assisted us with my Aunt's Birthday balloons and flowers. Two hours prior to the party, we walked into Kroger on (Saturday ) and she cheerfully helped with our party needs. You can tell she enjoys her job and cares about helping people. She went above and beyond with this last minute order.

Love this store but most people don't get good cell reception in this store and for us instacart shoppers we need internet connection. I was told the Wi-Fi does not work. If your not gonna have in store internet don't allow instacart at this store.

This Kroger is terrible. The employees were so mean and terrible and everything is so expensive. I tried to buy a small snack that would normally cost 2 dollars at most, and it costs 10 dollars here. Fuuck you stuupid fuucking cunnt!

Generally well stocked grocery. Good meat section. Apple fritters in the bakery are amazing. Nice beer selection with craft beers and make your own six pack. Big seaonal section right as you enter. Chocolate dipped strawberries habd dipped this week for valentine's day.
