My wife and I have been using Fur kidz for about a year and have had a "ok" experience with them for our 50lb Sheepadoodle. Unfortunately we cannot recommend them for larger dogs or a dog that isn't perfectly behaved. Our dog still has a decent amount of puppy energy so we provide treats and aids to keep her focused for a grooming but as of this morning whoever is on staff there has refused grooming of our dog. We have scheduled and rescheduled with them multiple times with different people but at this time they do not have a reliable staff that is willing or able to handle larger dogs. We were thankful for Sydney who groomed our pup for the last year but our issues started after she departed. We will be looking for a new groomer since they are no longer willing to see our dog.

I have 4 miniature dachshunds 3 of which are long-haired. Needless to say, they are a handful! With that being said, the staff at Fur Kidz on Saturday were no nice and pleasant and didn't miss a beat. They were very professional and did a wonderful job with our girls! I highly recommend them.

Took my large dog for a full groom (bath, shaved to 1/4 inch, nail trim, ear cleaning). When I made the appointment, I informed the staff that he was big (120 pounds) and that he often behaves anxiously but has been professionally groomed several times. They assured me it would be no problem. When I arrived to pick him up they said he was a little uneven because he’s “hard to cut” - there was not a place on his body that was cut to a 1/4 inch, you could see the lines from the shaved as no attempt to blend them was made, he still had mats in his elbows and he had visibly long hairs on his belly that were just blatantly missed and I found later that the inside of his back leg had been nicked. And I paid $100 for this service and treatment.TLDR: if you have large and/or anxious dogs don’t even think about bringing them here.

They do great work with the dogs, but can be a bit difficult to get a hold of to schedule an appointment. Still a wonderful groomer, just make sure to schedule the next visit when you’re there.

Always does a great job on my Lab. He is nothing but a walking hairball. He comes out 10 lbs lighter. Always nice and great with my dog.

What a wonderful groomer! In town for a wedding and they worked "Leo" in for a bath and trim. So friendly, and they went above and beyond to help us out.
