This is absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever used EVER. The staff here are rude including pharmacist, they are excessively slow & no one here seems to know how to do a simple task like counting, its pathetic. Playing . They refuse to admit their mistakes & when they are wrong.. There are so many other great pharmacies you can go to including other cvs pharmacies, avoid this one. I would leave zero stars if I could.

Worst CVS I’ve ever been too. I’ve been a loyal CVS customer for many years and this is the first time I have taken my business to a non CVS pharmacy. I’ve been in Lynchburg for 2 months and this location has rudely screwed up every single prescription with the exception of 2. I attempted to transfer my prescriptions from out of state when I first got to Lynchburg to this CVS. These people made it sound like my out of state pharmacy was not cooperative and did not send my transfers. When all along it was this store’s fault and not my previous pharmacy that these guys blamed. It seems that every time I have a prescription there is a delay with these people blaming everything and everyone except taking accountability for their own lack of competence. I had one pharmacy tech who was so rude and had no interest in helping me or any other customer. She was the most rude pharmacy employee whom I ever dealt with. I’m so done with CVS because of this location. Hill City pharmacy has done in 2 business days that this CVS couldn’t seem to accomplish in 2 months. Good riddance CVS.

The pharmacy is mismanaged. They have personnel turnover problems, and most are college-age. When I complained that they had breached their promise to have a prescription ready, an overweight supervisor banished me from doing business at CVS. I have been a loyal client for 10 years.

The tech, very young male with long curly black hair, is extremely rude. Went to get a simple Rx filled, previous tech before him said there would be a 5 min wait, waited 10 mins just for the younger fella to then say another 45 mins… do business else where. Where employees are happy to serve, not short handed & over worked.

The regular merchandise is on the expensive side, but that's true of any pharmacy. The pharmacists are very helpful, and they always ask me if I need info when I get a new prescription filled. I always get a text when my prescriptions are ready. I won't mention the CVS receipts that are way, way, way too long.

I usually love CVS for the convenience and extra bucks HOWEVER today left me walking out of the Wards Rd. location totally disgusted with the customer service. I wish I would have gotten a receipt to have the name of the individual who checked me out, but her demeanor was POOR. I was just picking up photos I order which she through on the counter and when the transaction was over (I chose no receipt and was just waiting to make sure everything processed correctly before leaving), she said "...ok" in a tone that clearly stated for me to leave her counter. With a few more lackluster details, I walked out feeling like I really inconvenienced someone who is in the service industry. This was an older lady with grey shoulder length hair (not with glasses).

I specifically chose this location for the convenience of closer to home. My prescriptions were being filled at Walgreens originally by where I worked. I went in this afternoon to pick up my heart medication and the pharmacy was closed because of staffing issues. I want to know where the store manager was!?!? He or she couldn't at least be behind the counter handing out the prescriptions to people like me that needed their meds???? Either shut down this location or spend the money on reliable paychecks.

Garbage staff. Told them i needed to refill an inhaler and was told to come in to see some one. Then when i did that told me they don't do walk ins anymore. And i had to make an appointment. Its been several days and several athsma attacks later and im still without an inhaler because of the dumber than a rock staff and policies of this stupid place.

The pharmacists that worked during the week of 7/13/21- 7/23/21 are the rudest and most unprofessional “pharmacists” I have ever encountered. I just moved from Ky to be closer to my family, after my retirement. I asked them to have all my medications transferred to their place, after I had conferred with my pharmacy back home. I called back on 7/14, they had not talked to my hometown pharmacy as of yet! I went back on the 17th, they said they hadn’t received all the info they needed. So I proceeded to call back home so she could speak to the pharmacists and she told him she would call him back and tell him what she needed! I was irate. I finally got all needed meds on 7/23. I called, they said they were READY(they were suppose to call me). I arrived and still waited 45 minutes even though there was no one waiting. The manager was standing behind a computer popping “bon bons”in her mouth, very unprofessional. Transferring all my business to Walgreens!

So thus CVS on Wards Rd. Is my home pharmacy... My grandmother has been coming to thus location for a very long time and is very good with the older general manager that is actively there... I definitely love the location and the convenience of the store and pharmacy to Mt home... The problem I have with this particular location is actually a bug Suprise to some but the pharmacy IS NOT up to par with the customer service skill and fast pace of the local competitive business... The staff is very rude in the pharmaceutical location... They have 2 manager a make and female whom are both terrible when it comes to talking and helping people resolve their issues aside from implying needing their weekly or monthly prescriptions... The kids working in the back as techs they are thrown to the wolves to kinds figure stuff out on their own... Which in turn makes for a horrible interaction with the customer in the pharmacy.... I wish they ALL where ALOT NICER!!!!!!!!!!They are very accurate when it comes to meds and they give you EXACTLY what you need each and everytime BUT AT WHAT COST DO YOU HAVE TO BE SATISFIED WITH their performance!!! Lastly the general manager is a little bit older and she is a female so the typical stereotypes of if a young black gentlemen comes into the store... "HE IS AUTOMATICALLY STEALING OR UP TO NO GOOD".... smh... It's sad because you would think being that I go there EVERY FRIDAY MID DAY to pick up the same medication they would have it figured out on all levels but this is a HUGE DOWNFALL for this location!!!! FRIENDLINESS GOES A LONG WAY NOWADAYS AND THAT IS SOMETHING THAT THEY JUST SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!

I love the location of this cvs, but sometimes I feel the need to drive across town to a different one because of the cashier that is always there. Cathy is extremely rude and should not work in customer service. I understand that people have bad days, but I have never had a good experience with her because she, without fail, makes rude comments to me and has a major attitude. I too work in customer service and make an effort to not be a difficult customer, but I feel as though I cannot ask a simple question without her getting extremely rude and snide with me. I truly hope Cathy is not like that with all customers, but I have heard a lot of similar experiences from others.

Pharmacy staff are the rudest people I have ever met at this location. If you don’t like what you do, find another job. You’re dealing with medicine and healthcare . This is a field for people with great customer service!

Recently I had trouble getting a prescription for my mother in law. I went to pick up her prescription 3 times before I actually got it. I got 3 different answers why it wasn't ready. Apparently the electronic system doesn't always work. That's even if it gives you an approximate date for pick up.

This parmacy is awful. Their employees in the pharmacy are rude and hateful. I went in to wait on a prescription that should have been ready and there was an older man that came in after i did. I watched him walk up to the counter with his cane and give his paperwork to the attendant. She told him she had rhe medicine but they havent stocked it he would have to come back tomorrow. If this had been my mom i would have been very very upset. So i called and made a complaint. They offered me a $5 gift card which i declined and i will not use this pharmacy ever again. Okay now that being said that attendant stood there for 5 or so minutes doing nothing. How hard can it be to stock shelves i am sure it doesnt take a rocket scientist. 30 minutes later i am still sitting waiting for a inhaler that i could plainly see on the shelf. Never ever had to wait this long for a inhaler. I do not recommend CVS for anything.

Mary in the pharmacy and Brooke the pharmacist are very rude and unprofessional!!! I called at 10am and was told my prepackaged prescription would be ready in 30 minutes. I went back at 12:30 and it still wasn't ready. I explained what I had been told and both women proceeded to argue with me. A real argument over what THEY told me. Both Mary and Brooke are hateful as hell and need to be fired!

On hold for over 30 minutes after I was hung up on the first time while waiting to speak to someone. When the girl finally did pick up she was no help at all. She just wanted to hurry up and hang up!! When I was trying to explain to her that I had been on hold for over 30 minutes, she said have a good day and then she hung up!! Very bad customer service, she didn't even let me finish why I was calling, she was just in a hurry to get off the phone!! Which she did very abruptly!!

I was supposed to get a covid test done today. I arrived 30 minutes early and all of the parking spots for the test were full, so I parked a few spaces away. I was waiting until one emptied to pull into, but none opened up. I sat there for almost 40 minutes without a call. I was not called until seconds before my 10 minute grace period was up, and I was called by a non virginian number so I didn't answer. After listening to the voice mail I tried to call back but I was declined, twice. Then the third, and final time, I called I left a voice mail. My voice mail thanked them that I have work tomorrow and potential could endanger others due to there lack of professionalism. Thank you Kim, I hope you have a life you deserve.

The pharmacist and her staff especially Julia (I believe she is a pharmacy tech, she knows her insurance), will go through hoops to answer your questions, and find options. I traveled from Bedford because they could not figure out how to bill my prescription. They answer honestly and not for convenience.And please folks, our Governor’s mishandling of the Covid vaccine is not the local Pharmacist fault.Thank you Ward’s Rd CVS

I had to take a covid test, as so many of us have been having to do lately, and just an hour before my test they canceled, i tried to reschedule here, but their cvs minute clinic website does not allow you to reschedule like that. Even though there was a slot open for the exact time my prior appointment was for.

I have used this pharmacy for over 10yrs and most of the time they are ok, however lastnight my daughter and I saw the pharmacist pick and blow his nose, touch the computer keyboard, touch our prescriptions, put them in a bag and hand them to me WITHOUT cleaning his hands. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer right next to him and he didn't use it. Absolutely disgusting !!!

I have to give a special shoutout to the pharmacist. He has gone above and beyond to help my mother get all the new medications needed after her recent hospitalization. He helped us work thru much of the red tape between the doctor and insurance company. Thank you.

I went to the drive thru window yesterday after leaving walgreens. The clerk at walgreens seemed hurried and rude. I went straight to CVS to the window. The tech was pleasant and went out of her way to help me. CVS has my business from now on.
