Food lion in Luray Virginia has a good selection of shopping necessities. Their produce is the freshest in town, and they have a really nice selection of meats. The staff at this location are knowledgeable of where the items in the store are located and are also friendly.

i've had some really good times with this food lion i remember when i first got here to luray and i'd get some mini wine bottles and snacks to have while watching a dvd (the dark knight with barefoot) in the country club neighborhood where i live driving my newer ford so there was some charming stuff i'd like i had a pretty good time with the magazines for a little bit (another story was i saw henry rollins and on the second time he was talking about how those really work i think for him it was national geographic so i had hobbies like making movies playing guitar painting miniatures doing artistic paintings sketchbook stuff um blogging writing um photography that i thought this could help with) um recently i've been educating myself more about the company i learned about a kettner guy veteran family man who had a lifelong career with food lion who definitely has some useful and interesting lessons another was tom smith i think some of these i might rewatch (i'd like looking up business histories on youtube and learning about the backgrounds and meaning) these were some youtube videos i watched some of it was i will participate with the surveys (i feel like there's been times where i am appreciated and i can truly come up with a 'brilliant idea' that helps the community) and i will keep coming here for a second i thought of only going to walmart um the special stuff on the right shelf coming in is cool seasonal stuff another i liked was snackies for a women owned business so is the deli i love the wings they're a pretty good deal meaty and good breading and frying and the rest of the aisles specials and cool releases baskin robbins ice cream deals um party mix utz containers the big jar of mt olive pickles really liking the spicy ramen soup bowls some stuff i was learning about food lion was like how they are competitive with prices or seeing things a different way or a time the guy was firm in a poker table with a warning so yeah some of that stuff can be real cool to think about like getting some dips and that instead of booze or tobacco too or being an artist and having some frills for myself some splurges another was the workers can be very presentable and focused good uniforms and attitudes

Food Lion was clean, and there were plenty of workers to help. They separate your cold items in a different color bag. Food Lion was a great experience today. There is plenty of stock.

Awesome store!!! Friendly cashiers, employees stocking isles knew where everything was at!!! Even came up to to ask you if you needed help finding something. And the deli employees sliced out cold cuts to perfection!!! Just amazing I think...

My families go to for all of our food items. We prefer this over Walmart for our grocery shopping. Never had a bad experience with staff not once very helpful and always tends to every customers needs.

This store is always well stocked whenever I shop here. I really like their dairy section and the variety of cheeses. They also have a pretty impressive wine & beer section. It's always a clean & tidy store and the staff are very courteous.

Have to say that I am very pleasantly surprised at the selection of organic and vegan/vegetarian products offered at this Food Lion! I was a bit concerned that I'd need to routinely visit one of the larger economic centers (Front Royal or Harrisonburg) after moving to Luray, but that has not been the case!

The staff excellent. First time at that location. Travel through with my husband. All staff was wearing face gear. Cashier was courteous another staff took me to show me where the oven cleaner was and the bathroom location. I was so happy I found oven cleaner. Good customer service

This store is always clean, the shelves are well stocked and the employees are friendly. The steak and hamburger meat are awesome! They also carry Gore's pork sausage and scrapple which my family loves. Keep up the great work!

love this food lion. the staff are helpful and friendly, they have a pretty decent selection of international, organic and gluten free products. really consistently good produce, too! the place is clean and inviting and has good sales almost every time i go. up until today, they have been really good about ensuring everyone is masked up inside, but today, i counted six maskless people shopping, despite the sign out front saying that face coverings are required and the announcement over the loudspeaker to remind people that it is a federal order to wear them in the store (all staff were masked, though!). as someone who is immunocompromised who is married to someone with severe asthma, i can’t shop here if the mask policy is not consistently enforced. i hope this store will resume enforcing their policy because it really is a great place to get some harder to find items in this area, and the staff are wonderful!

The Food Lion on 211 west luray va . Is clean with clean rest rooms. The employees are always courteous polite and eager to help you find stuff or answer your questions if they can. They have Western Union too. Lately they have had some awesome sales on hams and turkeys for the holidays where you could actually afford 2 of them each. These are the things needed since our pandemic. Thank You Food Lion

Pretty good Food Lion, always clean and stocked most of the time, Luray Store. I do like the one in Stanley better, I think they carry more items and are stocked a little better. 4/2023 For personal reasons I had to drop a star because this Food Lion stopped selling Martin Potato chips. That's the only chip I eat, so now I have to go next door to Wal-Mart to buy them. They still sell them at the Food Lion in Stanley so I'm not sure what the problem is, but it's a problem for me.

Nice clean grocery store. Friendly helpful staff. All the necessities you would need unless you were making a gourmet meal. They have a small deli counter with basic meat and cheeses, rotisserie chickens, and fried chicken. Fairly priced so I do most of my weekly shopping here.

The cashier's are very knowledgeable and helpful if you need assistance finding items. Everyone that I have been in contact with have always been so kind. This Food Lion is by far the best grocery store I have found in the area.

Selection is so-so. Halfway through the store, near the register, one clerk abruptly asked me "are you done?" This could have been nice but, was said in a rather snarky tone. Completed shopping and, since I brought my own bags, I had to do all the bagging, while the (different) clerk watched and waited for me to pay. Customer service is not a priority here.

Food Lion in Luray are either one of the Martin in Front Royal or Harrisonburg it's where I do all of my grocery shopping. Food Lion is wonderful especially since they remodeled it and I have so much fun with all the employees when I go out there they really know how to treat you and are willing to answer any question about something you'd like to know! One of my favorite places to go!!!

This is one foodlion I don't go to anymore! The deli associates as Well as the bakery since they work for both areas, VERY RUDE!!! I have had words with many young females in there, that you can bet on! I have stude there over 10mins an no joking around, while the associate stand and talk to each other with phones in there hands, I have had enough of all the rude page co peeps, in this town! An that's the only way Iam allowed to say that on here, young, nasty, trashy, very shameful... Food lion corporate needs to take control of this store, Very disturbing!..

Best place to get fresh veggies & meat in Luray! Everyone is very friendly. The deli honestly & the bakery they could use a little help as far as their knowledge of what they're doing in their attitude but other than that it's a great store!

Absolutely amazing. Went to check out with a $9 order and they said no charge today. I did not realize that using my shopping card was accumulating rewards with Food Lion. No charge free food can't beat that!
