anytime I ever have to deal with this pharmacy, they are always rude: it doesn’t matter which person waits on me, they have the rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced. If I talked to people the way they do, I wouldn’t have a job

Here's is my experience with this CVS. I used a great CVS, for many years, in Lakeridge VA, fast, answer the phone every time even though they are much, much, busier than the Luray branch. I also travel a lot and have used CVS all over the country, and they were fine. So it's not the company.1. I dropped off a paper prescription and the woman taking it rudely questioned its authenticity and would not consider filling it until she had contacted my doctor. I asked her if she gets many forged common blood pressure prescriptions.2. They never answer the phone.3. One incident, the clerk handing out filled prescriptions had the flu, and was sneezing, coughing, and snorting, all while another employee was asking if she should perhaps go home. I came down with the flu 2 days later, and it lasted for 3 weeks, worse than when I had COVID, and yes I was wearing that silly N95 mask, the 3M one, not the cheap knock offs.4. Each time I go in, there is the pharmacist, the register clerk handing out filled prescriptions, and with 5+ people in line, the rest (sometimes up to 3 others) are cutting it up, clucking like Yentas, whilst the line gets longer. And they glance at you like you are captive carnival folk with what can best be described as contempt. If the line gets too long, you will see the staff with more seniority, if you will, open that second register, rarely.5. It's kind of like they don't understand or care about customer service. This experience is just with the pharmacy staff, the regular up front clerk is usually helpful.6. Can't say anything about the pharmacist as you usually don't interact with her as she's busy doing her job.There, does that sum it up for you?

Luray VA CVS sold me dirt used pair of hair clippers. How do I know who used them didn’t have lice? And was told to keep them for 3 days to see if they get more in stock to replace them. They are sitting in a sealed bag in my car!!!

I have been going here for about a year to pickup prescriptions. They do not have a drive thru so you go inside for pickup. Sometimes there's a line and of course it takes some time, but the staff is always very friendly and I always leave with what I came for. I suggest getting the cvs app so you know when your prescription is ready and you won't have any hiccups. Sometimes I think people just need something to complain about. This cvs is just fine.

I have called Luray CVS 4 time's this morning and I have been disconnected everytime. I was waiting for 10 to 15 minutes everytime. The last time I waited for 25 minutes before I was disconnected. I don't think this is appropriate for a business that is supposed to be helping people who have important questions about medicine. Has anyone else had these issues?

Wish I could have given it 0 stars. Waited 20 minutes in line to pick up medications to be told, it will be 15-20 minutes more. Waited 25 minutes, to be told it would be 10 minutes more, then told 20 minutes more. The pharmacist was"busy" giving flu shots. Didn't wait. Knew after 20 minutes, another excuse. This place sucks!!!!

Called at 8am as soon as they opened to ask if they had a behind the counter cream I needed suggested by my ped. The girl asked twice to be sure she understood what I said, and said they had it. I drove 25 minutes, drug my baby inside for the pharmacist to be clueless about that product and blatantly tell me he wished his staff would have asked me. From now on I'm getting people's names on the telephone.

Every time we go to this pharmacy to pick up meds for a disabled man, they treat us like we are outcasts. We are young and every person in line behind us gets a good morning, good afternoon, but not us. We are young and don't know how some things work with insurances, coupons, etc and realize that it may take them a few minutes more to do their job, but that is why they are there. When working with the public, you treat everyone the same, especially in the line of work that they are in. Maggie,the pharmacist and Autumn, (clerk) was rude!! What happened to How can I help you or May I help you instead broadcasting our business all over the store. I will be calling main office in re to this as this has been like this for the last 3 months. It's not like we can go to another pharmacy as NWCS sends coupons for him to get his meds at a discount due to no prescription insurance.

Been coming here 15+years,every month.they are swamped everytime I go in if it's after 10:00 in the morning.these girls in the pharmacy are awesome!with everything they have to deal with,they do an exceptional job.without them and meds I can't walk,period.staff is friendly, and knowledgeable.they treat me with respect everytime.they get a bad rap in the reviews on here,but I wouldn't go anywhere else!give them a break,because they are very busy,everyday!love all of you!keep up the good work!

Hubby went in to fill meds(I felt so bad for sending him but I was having pins and plates put in for a broken ankle and experiencing a blood clot)when I normally do.I broke my ankle and was in Surgery which he was in a hurry to get back to Harrisonburg to make sure I was ok.I don't know what happened but he said the gal that took his prescription keep yelling his name loudly and he was very upset getting yelled at for what reason have no clue.They refused to fill his meds which is ok but I think when you work with the public you need to control your mouth instead of announcing your name to every person in the store cause something pee'd you off. Politeness is a MUST when working with the public and No I wouldn't recommend this particular pharmacy to anyone.People take their prescriptions from a doctor with a 8 yr degree to have filled not get yelled at in front of a bunch of people cause they are having a bad day!

Pharmacy techs don't care. Not diligent enough to properly communicate when necessary to fill scripts. They will make excuses for days and leave you hanging without.

Worst pharmacist I've ever met. Had a dr call in a prescription early with instructions to fill early and the pharmacist refused to fill it for 4 days. Was repeatedly told the prescription would be ready the next day for 4 days.

I have tried calling this pharmacy 10+ times on different days and times. When I finally get through the ringing, automated questions, and more ringing…someone picks up and immediately hangs up. Every. D***. Time.

The main photo Google shows, doesn't match the location but a store down the street. I asked a lady at the wrong location for directions since as I needed my vaccine. She said a lot of ppl kept going over there. This is actually in the Food Lion, Taco Bell shopping center.

The worst place possible to deal with PLEASE DON'T TRY TO CALL THIS STORE 30MIN WAIT IS NOTHING TO THEM B4 AND IF THEY ANSWER THEN YOU WILL WAIT UP TO AN HOUR 4 PRESCRIPTIONS AFTER BEING TOLD 10MIN....10 MINUTES LEADS TO 20MIN THEN AN EXTRA 10 MIN THEN 15 TO 20 MIN LONGER EVERYTIME.....POOR SERVICE ALL AROUND COME ON CVS MANAGEMENT GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!!
