Good food, the guy who took our order was very accommodating. Perfect for a late night snack. Will definitely come back.Parking: The parking lot is right in front of them, there is another space beside them.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kid's menu.

We stopped as a family of 5. It is hard to fit more than four due to the size of the place. We made it work, but it was a bit squishy.Food wise was great, what you would expect from a small American restaurant. They had classics as well as some fun dishes. We had Chocolate, and Strawberry shakes with our meals, which were excellent.Service was average. The waitress checked on us a few times even though they were pretty busy, and she didn't have much help.Atmosphere-wise, as I said earlier, it is a small joint—bar-type seating or booths. The booths were small. We fit 5, but two of those people were under 12. The menus were old and could use a replacement. Other than that, the classic feel was there for sure.

I had the Monterey chicken with tots and mac salad. Very impressed. Cooked to perfection and bursting with savory, spicey flavor. Highly recommend. The service was top notch with a friendly tone and a smile. Always heard nice things about this place and the positive reviews were not wrong. You can not go wrong by stopping by and grabbing breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

We've been here twice now and I've enjoyed it both times. It's really clean and the gentleman working have always been helpful and kind. The onion rings are fantastic and the club sandwich was exactly what I wanted. We'll definitely be back.

We really enjoy stopping here. I enjoy the meatloaf and the chili. The mac and cheese is baked and very good. Wife loves the hamburgers. Just a local diner with good food when you are passing thru the area. Large portions and good prices.

Food was fairly good, but the overall smell of greasy food was a bit overwhelming. Decent priced and good service. I thought it was a local business, but learned it is a small chain. Baked potatoes are huge, but mine was hard, like it had been microwaved.

Service was not good. Our waiter seemed to be very unhappy to serve. Our food did not meet our expectations.Pancakes had no taste. Orders were also served incomplete. However we felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed, so we quickly ate what we could and left. I do not recommend this diner.

Very good food to eat. Nice staff. It's a 10 minute walk from the Loves truck stop. Its worth the walk instead of eating roller dogs at loves. Plus, they are open 24 hrs.

5 stars might be excessive but I felt the over all experience was really good. We stayed at the Travel Lodge next door so it was an easy option. We ate 4 meals there during our 3 day stay. Breakfast good and consistent. Dinners were all good as well, no complaints. The line chefs holding it down were doing a great job! Our servers were also very good and on top of it. We had a baby with us and they were great about getting her something before us to keep her happy. Nice place!!

Very nice place and friendly staff. Nice to see a guy as a server and not just stuck in the back as a cook. He was helpful and knew alot about the menu and serving sizes. He made good recommendations. I got the meatloaf which was very good. A little undercooked but not enough to make it any less enjoyable. My girlfriend had the crab cakes and she loved them as well. Would definitely recommend this place to others

Penny’s is awesome. For early morning or late night, the staff are very friendly and the food is great diner food. Open 24 hours, can’t beat that! Right next to the Travelodge for your hotel needs.

We got the breakfast buttito & cowboy burger.. we are from SC so didn't care for the beans in the chili on the burger BUT it was still very good! We have been in this area about 5 times in the last 2 yrs and we will come here the next time! Waitress & cook showed great hospitality! Thanks!!!

The food was good but the tall black headed guy had an adituide, I travel a lot but we won't be eating there anymore , there were 2 of us. I asked about a hotel room when I first got there and was told they have a contract with CSX so there for they had no rooms available, but once they over heard me talking about my family working on the RR can u believe a room came available and I told them thanks but no thanks I had already booked a different hotel

This little dinner is a jewel. The food was amazing and the service was great. I had the Big Ranch Breakfast that consisted of country fried steak and gravy, hash browns, 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and toast, with a side of sausage. Every bite was exploding with flavor. Kudos kudos kudos! My husband and I will definitely be back next time we visit.
