Such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Lots of street parking. Lots of places to sit if you come early. Beer, seltzer, water, milkshakes, and coffee available as well as packaged snacks and baked goods. Also a used bookstore! Come out for some great live music.

Rapunzel's is a cozy coffee shop and book store with comfortable seating and a wide variety of drinks to imbibe. We went to see Camomile and Whiskey a group that originated locally. It has a great setup to see bands in an intimate setting. They have many styles of coffee and beer and wine. They had cake that looked amazing but we didn't try any. It seems like a very popular spot in the Livingston area.

I love this place. It's an oasis in a quiet stretch of Virginia countryside where a wide range of local musical talent and music lovers can gather appreciate the spirit of making great music together.The owners are warm and welcoming, the ambiance is relaxed and the perfect kind of funky, with comfy overstuffed furniture to plop in, used books to peruse, and beverages and snacks to enjoy.Well worth the drive from wherever... For a city slicker like me, this is just the type of hometown place you want to find while adventuring through the backroads of the Old Dominion. Quirky, fun, welcoming and not a chain. You can really feel the stories a place like this has to tell. You can hear live bluegrass music in the evenings, but by visiting earlier in the day a traveler can find the quiet space between the lines while enjoying a cup of joe and a light snack.
