When we lost our 3 year old dachshund Bear we were devastated. We called Rainbow Bridge and were given the option of having Bear picked up or delivering him ourselves. We opted to deliver him. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the handling of Bear and also us. Our grief was fresh and were in a fog. John laid out all of our options and made decision making easy for us while reminding us of things we would have forgotten in our fog of shock.We dropped him off at noon and had him back home before dinner the SAME DAY!It helped tremendously to have him home while grieving. If ever you are in need of pet cremation Rainbow Bridge is a place I would highly recommend. They truly care for you and your fur baby. They also offer beautiful jewelry that is made with your babies ashes added for a wearable memorial. Beautiful and affordable. Thank you Mr Lender for caring for my baby and my fragile heart.

I would like to recognize and thank Logan for the compassion and empathy he showed to our family and three pets in a span of three months. Logan showed genuine care and attention to detail each time. Their whole process is dignified - from their compassionate service to time to say a final goodbye to the hand-carved wooden urn, paw print, hair clipping, certificate, vial of ashes, and rainbow bridge poem. I was hesitant about pet cremation, but Logan patiently answered all of our questions and alleviated our concerns. Our family will always use Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. I lost my good buddy very early in the morning two days ago. I was devastated and knew I wanted my boy treated with compassion. I'm so happy I found Rainbow Bridge. I emailed them and got a response from Zane right away and he put me in touch with Logan. I was able to drop off Cj later the same day and I already have him back. Logan was kind, patient, and compassionate. He made me so comfortable. Logan even accommodated my schedule and allowed me to come after hours. Cj was my sidekick for 16 years, losing him is devastating. He wasn't just a cat, he was my family. But Zane and Logan made it a litter easier. I'll be forever grateful.

I would recommend Rainbow Bridge services to my friends and family for their fur babies. I was able to see my baby girl go and ensure she was privately cremated. Our poor dog passed very suddenly and traumatically. I didn’t know what to do and Rainbow Bridge was the first place I called. There was no judgment, just sympathy and compassion. They retrieved my dog the next morning after telling us how to handle the situation. There are no words to say how thankful I am for them. We drove an hour away to retrieve our dog’s ashes. Along with with ashes in a lovely box, they gave us clippings of his fur, a vial, and six paw prints we would give to our closest friends and family. It doesn’t my heart well to know they took such good care and respect his remains. It was well worth the price.

My 16 year old Yorkie Gracee passed away this week. She was my baby and meant the world to my family and I. I reached out to Zane the day of her passing and he told me what to do and provided me excellent service during this most difficult time. He encouraged me to go see the process from start to finish of his brother Logan caring for my sweet baby. He handled Gracee with compassion and remarkable service. He allowed me to take as much time as I needed to say goodbye to my doggie. I cannot thank Rainbow Bridge enough for all they did for my family and I during this difficult time. This place and the people that work there are a true blessing. I had to say goodbye to by furbaby pretty suddenly. I knew I was going to do in home services and wanted to have her cremated. When looking through all the options in the area, this place stuck out. When I read the Winnie the Pooh quote on their website I knew immediately this was the right place to make sure my baby was taken care of. They really do answer the phone 24/7. They are compassionate, caring people. They went above and beyond to make me as informed and involved as possible. I can not recommend them enough in such a difficult time. When its time for me to say good bye to our other fur babies we will absolutely be using them.

Our dog Lucky just passed yesterday, something that was too sudden to even process, still…. It took my family a while to say our goodbyes and by then most of the other places were closed.Thank goodness for Rainbow Bridge Pet Services, they were helpful, accommodating and so sweet. We dropped him off last night around 8pm and by this afternoon Logan called, saying that Lucky’s box will be ready around 3pm. I’ve never had to arrange a funeral or dealt with death first hand like this, so being able to find a trusted place that was quick and efficient made a world of a different. Thank you again Logan, for your patience and service. The best thing people can do for others is providing their honest and helpful service when it’s needed most, and you sure did that for Lucky and my family. I can never thank you enough.

We lost our cat in December that has been with us the better part of 16 years. We were devastated but the crew at Rainbow Bridge Pet Services handled our case with care and compassion. We dropped our beloved boy off with them on a Thursday afternoon. Rainbow Bridge did the cremation Friday morning so we had him back by Friday afternoon. It was a private cremation and they even offered to let us be present at the cremation if we wanted to. They provided a beautiful Rosewood box for his ashes, hair clipping, and a small memory vial of ashes along with the certificate of cremation and a poem. We paid $25 extra for a clay paw print which we thought was very reasonable and we’re so glad we got it. Rainbow Bridge is a smaller family run business and they provided this service for a reasonable cost – the same or better price than many of the larger facilities that take weeks to return the ashes. They did a beautiful job and we would recommend them to anyone in need.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience after suddenly losing one of our dogs. It was after business hours and our vet had already closed for the evening. Logan and Zane were incredibly kind and prompt, even though it was 8pm at night.I met Logan to drop off my Golden’s remains with my 9 year old son. Logan was gentle and patient, but also knowledgeable and answered every question we had, even the curious ones from my son which he did with such grace.Rainbow Bridge was able to have our pups ashes back to us the very next day. The wooden urn is beautiful, the extra glass vials of ashes were delicately put together and the paw print was carefully crafted. They clearly take great pride in their work.We have had a few dogs pass away in our life time, but this is the first time we’ve used Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. We will only be using them from here on out. Highly recommend.Thank you Logan and Zane.

Thank you Rainbow Bridge Pet Services.... We lost our sweet cat TJ suddenly and decided last minute to have him privately cremated. I spoke to Zane and he made the experience so easy. He was so efficient, responsive, and caring. It’s unfortunate we had to meet in these terms, but the outcome was everything I expected and more. The only negative is if the distance is out of range, then you may have to pay extra for mileage or drive yourself. But the positive outweighed the negative. We recommend their services and will use them again if another unfortunate situation happens again. :(

John is nothing but AMAZING! My sweet greedy bird passed over on a Sunday, after calling multiple places closer to where I live, John answered immediately and calmed my “hot mess” self down. After letting my other birds and dogs say goodbye John even offered for me to bring him at that very moment! He walked me through the process and less then 24 hours later my beautiful baby was back home in his resting spot!As much as I never want to say goodbye to any of my fur babies, They will always be my go to place!Plus the ride is beautiful and peaceful!

Yesterday we lost our beloved Micky, my best friend of thirteen years. He was old, but it happened suddenly, and no matter how prepared I tried to be for that moment, I wasn’t. I called the place I originally planned to use, just to find out they did a send away service which would take 10 or so days. The service provided through the vet was similar. I could not imagine that wait, or that thought, so I called places…Zane got back to me incredibly fast. And after a couple discussions we ended up keeping him with us for the night, and driving him ourselves to their location in WV (it was actually an easy, and nice drive from the DMV) this morning. Logan was waiting for us there, had such a calming and friendly presence. For what is an extremely sad, morbid experience - he made me feel comfortable. He talked us through the process, let’s us spend whatever time we wanted / needed with our boy. I left after I said my goodbyes and my husband stayed with Logan. He let us pick whatever toys we wanted to send him off with too. They had a whole trailer for us to use, to get some much needed sleep after a sleepless night, with drinks, bathroom, etc. It was an unexpected addition to the service they were already providing us. I was unsure about my choice to take his body with us and then bring him there ourselves the next day, but all involved were super helpful and supportive and I wouldn’t change a thing about my decision. I felt like I had extra time to say goodbye, and it is an irreplaceable gift to have had that when I look back on it. Thank you guys

Rainbow Bridge Pet Services was wonderful during the difficult process of saying goodbye to my longtime companion Tux. They allowed me the ability to bring him to their crematorium myself and bring him home that day. So that I knew it was my boy Tux who I brought home. I had never cremated a pet before and they explained the whole process to me. I'm someone who finds great comfort in being informed on what is happening and they didn't mind providing that information. Everyone from the company I interacted with was very kind.

I used Rainbow Bridge Pet services nearly two years ago and I still treasure the experience. I was getting a necropsy done away from home and per the lab's protocal, I could not have my rabbit's body returned to me. Rainbow Bridge did a wonderful job ensuring her body was taken care of and returned to me. I was aware of each step of the process as it happened, which was especially nice since she was so far from home.They were absolutely wonderful through a really tough situation and I would absolutely recommend to a friend, or use their services again. We were caught off guard that our guinea pig, "Charlie" was sick (He was fine one day, and the next day, he was gone.). Our daughter was absolutely devastated by his quick passing. Because she was so attached to him, and he was such a HUGE part of our family, we wanted a way to always remember him. So, we contacted Rainbow Bridge Pet Services to see what they could offer. We were not only impressed with their professionalism but with the price too. Although we miss our "Charlie" very much, we are truly appreciative that "he" will always be with us in "his" beautiful box. Unexpectedly we lost our sweet guinea pig Leo. We will miss his chirps and squeaks of delight. After searching the web I came across their webpage and called them and talked to Zane. He understood the pain that we were feeling. We took our Leo out to the site in Lovettsville and they took care of the cremation for us. I was overwhelmed when I picked him back up today. They had gave us a memory box with a cutting of his hair and some of his ashes and the rest was in this beautiful wood box. I would recommend them to anyone. They did our Leo justice. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. We made the difficult decision to help our beloved dog cross the Rainbow Bridge. After the vet left the house, John came and collected her body. Less than 24 hours later he returned to our house with a beautiful hand-carved urn containing her ashes. We also received a little plastic baggy with some of her fur, a small vial with some of her ashes and a paw print.John was very professional and comforting during a very difficult time of loss for our family. If you’re reading this trying to make a decision, I’m very sorry for your loss. We came home to our cat Betty who had passed completely unexpected and wanted to share how pleased we are with Rainbow Bridge. John was there to pick her up within 20 minutes of us reaching out to him as we also live outside Lovettsville. Very professional, compassionate and timely which definitely helped us move forward after our loss. I hope we don’t need there services for a very long time but wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again when needed.

I just had to put my almost 17 year old cat to sleep this past weekend. It was obviously a devastating experience and although I knew I wanted her cremated, I hadn't looked into it too much until the day I learned she had to leave us. Fortunately, Rainbow Bridge Pet Services popped up on a google search that morning and I called them right away. Despite being a Saturday, they answered promptly and were caring and thoughtful. After we visited the vet, I spoke with Logan on the phone who explained when and where to meet his father John, the owner. John was prompt, friendly and caring when we brought Bella. On Monday, Logan called to let us know Bella was ready to be picked up. Although it was shocking for me to go pick up her remains, it was obvious she had been taken care of. The hand carved box is beautiful and the pieces of fur, vial of ashes, and paw print were also beautifully prepared. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the dignified way they helped my girl have an honorable ending. Thank you so much Rainbow Bridge.

We lost our beloved Ragdoll cat, Rajah, 2 months ago today. John at Rainbow Bridge Pet Services, whom we have used several times before, was just a phone call away, making this difficult day so much easier. I trust this company and love the individualized attention they give to each customer and each pet. In the past we would allow our vet to send our deceased cats off to a large crematory for supposedly private cremations. But we were always uncertain that the ashes returned to us were truly those of our companions.At Rainbow Bridge, John gave us an incredible gift by allowing us to attend the cremation process for two of our sweet senior cats who recently died within a week of each other. He treated us like friends and answered all of our questions.The wooden urns he supplies are also beautiful and unique.For us there was enormous closure and comfort in attending this final process, and as mentioned, peace of mind from the certainy that these ashes are theirs.
