Exceptional! This chef has an impeccable talent for pairing fresh herbs with local vegetables creating aesthetically pleasing and delectable dishes. Delighted with staff and every item we ordered to include the local wine that paired perfectly! Parking is adequate. Staff are knowledgeable and kind. Atmosphere is inviting. Don’t deprive yourself. Make your reservation. Enjoy!! We sure did.

We wanted to love this place, but unfortunately for the price the food was not memorable. Firstly, there is no labeled front door entrance or signage, so you’re left to guess which of the 3 doors to enter. Our server was amazing, knowledgeable and professional. The food was lackluster. The portions were inconsistent and 2 people in our party had to send their food back. The salmon was very fishy and the steak was severely over cooked. The shrimp and grits were good, and the pork belly was cooked well. Overall we had higher hopes given other reviews and accolades the restaurant has received.

Market Table Bistro is a very high class establishment hidden in a tiny town on the Virginia side of the VA, MD, WV border. Friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable service greets you as soon as you walk in the door. The drinks and first course were superb. A perfectly concocted Old Fashioned went well with the steamed BLT buns and fried green tomatoes. The freshness of the ingredients and culinary execution shined through. A whole fish - red snapper - and steak frites led the main meal. Both were an experience in and of themselves. Dessert brought a chocolate chip cookie in a mini cast iron to end our meal. We had such a great time, thank you Market Table Bistro!

We showed up super early in the hopes of being seated without a reservation, which we did! Definitely recommend making one ahead of time though. The service was incredible and the staff was very knowledgeable. We ordered the Mac & Cheese, Beef Steamed Buns, Rockfish (half portion), and the Chocolate Ganache Cake. They also provided some complimentary bread and spread before our meal.Everything was plated beautiful and tasted incredible!

Dear Market Table Bistro: you are a gem in the DMV. You are all Michelin 🌟 to us. Every time we dine with you, we leave with bellies & hearts full. This time was no exception. Thank you for all the effort you put into procuring locally sourced options & serving them up in the most delightful & delicious way. (I just finished the to go side of beans/root vegetables on toast & said an out loud & potentially annoying YUM with every bite. SO GOOD.) Thank you for all you do.

The main courses left us with more to be desired. I had the ramen, which was more of a Vietnamese style pho than ramen. The broth was very plain, and quite disappointing since you can get a better tasting dish at half the price down the street. I would suggest the chef check out what they are doing at Echilon downtown Leesburg for some inspiration. Also try out the ramen in the neighboring Japanese restaurants in Loudoun county for ideas on how to make an even better dish for the $38 tag price.Overall I was not surprised that the restaurant was dead on a friday night, given our experience.

We love Market Table Bistro — we eat all over at Michelin restaurants and we were delighted to find this resto close to home. Chef does a terrific job sourcing locavore provisions and prepares the dishes with attention to detail and some whimsy thrown in. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly — chef will come out and talk to you more than once. Truly enjoy!

Stop what you're doing. Get in a car. Drive here and eat this burger. Right now. You won't be complete until you have it in your mouth.Service was 10/10 exceptional as was each of the other food items I tried. I'll drive over an hour for this, no problem.

What a perfect dining experience. There was absolutely nothing sub-par about my dinner with my girlfriend at the Market Table Bistro. The weather was perfect. The lighting was amazing. The service was top notch.... And the food...Wow.I had the sirloin special and it was superb. The outside was seared to a tasty crust while the inside was melt-in-your-mouth succulent. The charcuterie was also impressive. Everything was memorable.I can't wait to go back!

Impeccable from start to finish! Amazing attention to detail— every ingredient was fresh, local, and inspired. Chef Jake obviously takes extreme pride in the creation and presentation of his dishes. Leah was a wonderful host and server who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes. Definitely wouldn’t be surprised if it gets Michelin star(s) soon!

Finally had the wherewithal to book a reservation and revisit. One of very favorite restaurants. Fresh, local and fantastic food. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Can’t say enough about the attention that goes into the menu and drink pairings (if so inclined). To Jason and company- thank you for a great experience again.

After being closed for renovations, we couldn't wait for Market Table Bistro to reopen - and it was worth the wait!We live in town but work in Washington DC, and we make sure to tell all our friends in DC that this is a destination spot and absolutely worth the 50+ mile drive! Chef Jason and his team are just fantastic...we went for our anniversary and they had custom menus with a congratulations message waiting at our table. Our server, Leah, was friendly engaging, and knowledgeable. The food is all locally derived and fresh, and they are proud to tell you where each item is from (i.e. the kale was from Chef Jason's mother-in-laws' garden!). We started with the bread service - Rosemary and garlic sourdough with warm olives - a perfect combo. Then we moved to the first course: a spring garden and foraged salad with a simple olive oil and balsamic dressing (we wish we could make such a simple dressing so tasty at home), and a mushroom soup that Chef Jason brought to our table - in the bowl was the mushrooms and a slab of parmesan panna cota - he poured the soup over them to keep the mix separate until it was time to eat - so smooth and rich. For the main, we had the rainbow trout "bacon" with warm lentil salad, and the aged ribeye. I wish I had taken a picture of the ribeye as it was presented on a cutting board, sliced, cooked perfectly, and included the bone with meat still on, and even included the ribeye cap - you can't get that at every restaurant! For dessert we had the chocolate creme brulee and churros - we could barely fit the dessert, but found the room - both were incredible. The wine selection is well-suited for the menu, and we didn't have any cocktails this time, but we look forward to them next time we go!Dining at MTB is an experience, and a must stop if you're out in the area at the wineries/breweries - a great wrap to a day in western Loudoun!Beyond dining, MTB is a locally-owned, locally-sourced restaurant, and during the COVID shutdown, they stayed open and served take-home family-style meals that we valued and enjoyed as often as possible - it was great to see Chef Jason provide for the community and keep his employees working in a safe environment.Bottom line: put this restaurant on your must-do list!

I was really looking forward to the reopening because of positive past experiences. The food was delicious but very disappointed in tiny size portions and very high i prices. Not worth the money. Will not recommend.Vegetarian options: Limited options.

The dining experience is simply unbeatable. Food quality rivals Michelin rated kitchens without the pretense. The staff is wonderfully kind and knowledgeable (menu, sourcing, and preparation). Recommend that you talk with your server and ask for their recommendations based on your preferences. My wife and I absolutely adore Leah and Chef / owner Justin.

Experience was mixed. Location is charming and they have a lovely outside patio. The food was good, but overpriced for the portions. I got a soft shell crab special and it was the smallest crab (just one) over some bread w/ bits of french fries -- it was as if I got the bottom of the batch as I only had a few full sized fries. There's a $17 old fashioned on the menu! ($17!)The service was adequate, but I would have expected more personable service from a small restaurant. Things were just off, we ordered one steam bun and four came out. Upon walking in, we were asked about the mask policy and the host just shrugged and asked if we had a reservation. The owner greeted regulars but just sat there and stared at other diners. Didn't say hello and when we said goodbye just turned his back and responded bye. Experience is a big part of dining (not just the food) and sorry to say it just didn't fit the bill for me for the price.

My daughter had been talking about market table bistro for some time and had wanted me to go there so she decided to take me along with my son, her brother, for my birthday dinner. It was well worth the wait, everything was outstanding, well chosen menu featuring seasonal and local ingredients complimented by a wine list with bottle and by the glass selections easily paired with whatever plates you choose for yourself. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient in service. All in all they made my birthday celebration a outstanding one. I hope to be back soon!

Hello, welcome to Flavor Town! We received a gift certificate when we moved into the area. We where advised that this is the best restaurant in the area of Lovettsville. However I am here as a formidable witness and experience based veteran that can tell you... It is one of the best in Northern Virginia. You can taste the farm to table, the freshness in every bite. It smells fresh without that processed tinge you get at your chain restaurants. I appreciate the mix of fine dining with locals still welcome. Its warm, inviting, with great customer service. Every garnish, seasoning and ingredient had a purpose and greatly complemented the bite. Every bite was seasoned to perfection. I won't disclose my cooking experience as I am not the star in this review, but I will say Market Table Bistro is worth the drive, money, time, and definitely a taste.Job Well done!

My fiancé and I decided to have a nice dinner outside after our elopement and we found this place on Google. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. They even gave us two glasses of champagne to celebrate and a nice bottle of wine as a little wedding gift. It was so sweet! Highly recommend this place! It was the perfect wedding meal.... that we actually got to eat.

Incredible. Just incredible. My wife and I had dinner there this evening and loved everything. From the top notch service to the fresh local food. Visiting from Florida so the fresh produce is refreshing. Fantastic wine list including some local wines. We will be back without a doubt
