Food Lion in louisa SUCKS! Thier prices are beyond ridiculous and that's only if you one if the lucky privelaged customers that has to be getting insider info pertaining to when shelves are full and prices are low cause literally every time I go they are unloading the truck and /or restocking meaning shelves are empty! If something is on sale you'll know immediately by emptiness where sake item should be. If there's ever a managers special on meats be leary it's rotten. Only time you ever see managers special. And the only time meat should look that brown is during the cooking process and it should never ever smell like that. And man they have us over barrel they are our ONLY grocery store so they can bend us over however they like and give it to us as hard and dry as they want

This is our only big grocery store that is in town and wish they had better meat selection and more affordable prices but staff for the most part is great, the hot food is always hot, the store is clean, bathroom is clean

This Food Lion is the worst stocked Food Lion I've ever shopped in. The people of Louisa deserve better. Shelves are always poorly stocked, fruits and veggies are sparse and not fresh. I hate having to shop here, but it's not much else nearby.

Always a pleasure to visit. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Frank is almost always there and welcomes you with a smile and calls you by name. Always has fresh fruits and produce also never old or soggy 😄

Don't go there for Western Union, they tell you on the phone that they do it but when you get there management claims it is always down... For 2 years now been trying to pick up money from there as I get transactions frequently and it doesn't matter day or time.. it's always down. Then the one lady who watches self checkout is always circling you staring and asking how much money you're getting if you get cash back. It's a little too much.

I have purchased hamburger meat here at least 6 times and had it turn rotten the very next day.The to go service at this food lion is abysmal. I have given them multiple chances as I have never had a problem with the Food Lion at the lake, and every time something is "out of stock" and Ican walk inside and find it myself. This time in particular, I needed dinner ready ASAP and ord we red to go and I arrived at 4:59, called twice, and didn't get my groceries until 5:24. I hate being the person to leave a bad review, but this was bad.Additionally, there is no actual verification of groceries. Be wary.

I like this Food Lion. The people who work here are really nice and the store is kept clean. Everything always seems to be kept in order too, and they keep everything as well stocked as they can. Sometimes they may not have items- still die to supply chain issues like all other stores these days.

The few times that I have been, the selection of meats has been far and in between. Being that this is one of the only grocery stores in Louisa, you would think they would be a little more prepared & well stocked.

Had over $300 worth of groceries and had to check it all out by myself while 3 associates stood talking at the customer service counter. I wish I got paid to stand there and chit chat while customers are having to be the employees!

Too crowed and isles were filled will employees stocking shelves on Sunday when people are trying to shop. They moved things around too much. Beautiful, but I avoid this store whenever possible.

This was the first time that I went into this store. I went on the wrong day bc shelves were bare and people were unpacking a lot of boxes to put on the shelves. I guess their truck load comes in on Tuesday. But, the people who work there are amazing. They asked if I needed anything and everyone was so super nice. It's nice to walk in a store to see smiles and people do helpful. Great job Food Lion!!

The store was well stocked and fairly clean. Would’ve given this store 5 stars but the cashier didn’t say one word to us. Not even a thank you and we spent quite a large amount of money. We did speak to her but we were completely ignored.

I have no complaints about my local grocery store, especially for the number of years it has been serving our small town. I appreciate everyone who works there, especially the friendly faces who've been there most of the years the store has been! Today our cashier Caitlyn was super nice and we appreciated her patience since we made more than one request that required special assistance.

Awesome, nice, and friendly staff. Like many other business the prices are going up and some shelves are bare do to supply delays. Currently many stores are facing problems with getting the products to fill their inventory adequately. It is hit or miss if they have 100% of what is on my list. Guess it just depends on the day.

This store has the worst selection of any one I've been to. I realize there are supply issues, but I can get what I need if I drive 20 miles to Short Pump. Food Lion is the only grocer around for miles. I guess they realize that, so they can get away with low quality and inventory. They don't seem to care about their customers.

I shop there frequently i love the new self check out it gives you more freedom and is alot faster if you don't have tobacco or alcohol products. The people that are there have been there for years its just friendly faces you remembet

Never seems to have enough food in stock with many empty sections in shelves and is a reflection of poor inventory management or the increased population growth, or both. Their isn't a great produce selection either and I drive 45-60 minutes to visit the better chains rather than shop at this one. It's good to visit if you need staple items, depending on if they're in stock.

Staff is very friendly here! Store is very clean and neat! The manager here even offered to help with my groceries because he saw my hands were full. To a mother of 4 children, that means a lot!! They were out of several items, but they had a good variety of most things.

A few of the Store managers at this location are unprofessional and in need of serious attitude adjustments!!!!!! Josh’s skills are being overlooked he definitely knows how to interact with people in a positive way!!! He goes out of his way to thank employees for the contribution to their company. Awesome job!!!!!!

This is probably my fav Food Lion! It's clean & tidy & for most part the workers are pretty nice. They either smile n greet you or just don't look or say anything. I'm happy with that! At least they aren't snarling or huffing n puffin like they hate their jobs, ya know. Lol

This is our towns local Food Lion, I would love to give it more stars, but it's only ever been a 3 star. The store is clean and typically well stocked, but the employees are revolving and management doesn't seem proactive in any way. The meat/deli/bakery Dept is always out of stock on things and if you ask the employees back there for help or to get you meat or try to order a cake , they act like you are the biggest bother and inconvenience. We have got large orders of chicken for events here twice now and both times have been horrible experiences, the first time they never made our order and told us we ordered from the wrong food lion, the second time the chicken was so dry it was like eating a Popeye's biscuit with no water. Overall it's a clean and stocked store with a few good employees,but management and the disgruntled employees bring it down.

The store looks really nice after the remodel. They have a fairly good selection of items and the employees are always friendly and helpful. It’s never hard to find what you’re looking for here, which is nice since it is the only local grocery store to speak of. That said, I find that the prices here are very high and the produce isn’t the best quality.

Clean and well stocked. The employees are helpful and respectful. Some items here are more expensive and have less quantity, for more money, than other grocery stores. Meat department and the delicatessen are on point.
