The service is great and friendly staff. But do not buy their pellets for pellet stove. They do not burn properly they clog up your pellet stove. I now have 4 bags I cannot use.

I was pleasantly surprised that they had everything we needed, from 18inch culvert,drain tile and all the gates we needed in one place. 1 stop! And they were very helpful👍🏻

I'm updating this review because I noticed they have changed a few things so it shows they must be listening. My last 3 visits since my last review have been great! In fact the only reason I returned to them was because Tractor Supply didn't have what I needed (straw). The next time I visited was also because Tractor Supply didn't have what I needed (cedar shavings) which they had plenty. (Who knew Tractor Supply didn't carry that? Weird!) The 3rd time was yep because the other didn't have what I needed (select pro plant foods) which EverGro even had the kind I could only order on line which was awesome! It's official EverGro I'll be saving myself a little time and gas and coming to you first from now on. Thanks for always having what I need and listening to your customers.

I visited this store on 09/21/2022 looking for solutions for rodent control. As I was in the isle that had these items I kept noticing someone watching me down the isle. It was a Southern State employee. Instead of asking me if I needed help she watched and followed me as if I were a thief. I intentionally went to garden center and looked back and there she was watching me again. I was taken aback. When I found what I thought I needed. I went to counter to pay and she finally showed up at register for me to pay. I asked her if they had problems with thieves here. She said no but people complained about high prices. I told her that I wasn't one of them referring to a thief. I won't be returning to this store. Very rude and unprofessional for her to do that. Poor customer service!

I enjoy my visits to Louisa's Southern States. I go about once a week for my farm animals-horse, goats & Great Pyrenees herd guardian dog. The staff is knowledgeable and patient with me especially Allen and Chris who have worked there for a long time.

I decided not to go back since they shorted me on propane and their price was much higher than my current company. I took a picture of the tank after the man left for our 1st refill. I took a picture from our new company. Big difference! Beware!
