Corporate needs to pay the pharmacists and techs more money, so that more staff are readily available to work in the pharmacies. Customer needs are exceeding the amount of staff at all or most CVS pharmacies in the central Virginia region. The drive thru hasn’t been open for over a year. The one on Orange County VA. Had vaccination appts scheduled, texts were sent to individuals who signed up, and when people went in for their shot, they were told due to staffing issues, the pharmacy closed down. No text messages, calls or emails were sent out to those scheduled. Not a great way to run a business CVS. Just received an email from our dentist, while waiting with others who returned back in line an hour later to get their prescription. It seems not even the medical providers can get in touch with the pharmacy teams at CVS. After waiting for a longtime, they had to leave a voicemail message for a prescription and hoped it was received. Since that was earlier this afternoon and we are quickly approaching eight o’clock, their closing time, I doubt it is ready, as we haven’t received a text message. So far, I’ve been at this location since 6:11 pm and no prescription yet. AGAIN, it’s not due to the efforts of the staff. They’re overworked!!! CVS NEEDS TO ATTRACT MORE TECHS AND PHARMACISTS. The only way to correct the problem is to revisit how much they are pay staff. Perhaps if the people who worked behind the counter received more pay, more people would apply. In the meantime, the delays are causing those who are sick to be in line longer, which contributes to more people being exposed. Well at 7:46 pm I reached the counter, and I was told they were sorry, but they were slammed, and the pharmacist still had a lot of the prescriptions on his computer to fill. They apologized and said they would fill it tomorrow morning. I guess we will just have to hope my family member will be okay without it this evening. Please excuse the typos, as I did this while waiting and exiting the store. Again, corporate needs to visit their stores to see what is happening!

Was advised today by a CVS Pharmacy employee that CVS Louisa, VA has no intention of reopening the drive-thru window. When asked why, was told that no one wants to work the window and she implied that the people were lazy. I pointed out that the Whalgren’s location across the street appear to have had their drive thru opened the entire year. I then again asked why couldn’t CVS locate workers for the drive thru, she again restated that people just don’t want to work. This doesn’t make any sense at all. Must just be a terrible place to work or CVS corporate has decided to shut it down to save money which clearly reflects their corporate attitude of placing profits over people.

Pharmacy staff seems to be having a great time while ignoring calls and people standing in line. I stood in line 5 minutes before being acknowledged. Line built up behind me. Voice kept announcing calls on hold. Was told prescription was ready. After waiting 1st in line for 5 minutes, was the told it was on hold, and I would have to go to the other line to find out. Was then given a future date. Had to drive home to get bottle to prove sate was wrong. As I pulled into my house, received another text saying prescription was ready. Drove back and was given another excuse about how it was not their fault, but they figured it out. Prescription was not in fact ready. G8ven another excuse about why I got text saying it was. DONE with CVS. Only went here because insurance says I can't use Walgreens anymore. Have now switched to Walmart.

Pharmacy staff is rude. Quite a few times they have run out of my sons supplies, like test strips or insulin.

Everyone is so kind and helpful. Enjoy it and I always find what I need especially if I’m just passing and picking my prescriptions.
