This is my favorite grocery store around my area. Fresh and good quality of products but the entire staff rock it. Love their friendly and knoledge of the guys and girls that work there. I feel like they are my friends from long time ago. I gave them 6 stars

Cashier (male) was asking me inappropriate questions I would say he’s maybe 20 and Indian? (I don’t want to assume ethnicity but I’m trying to give a description as I don’t know his name) I went to the express lane, closer to the deli side around 1:30pm. I understand being friendly but he asked me what gym I’m going to, what I hit (asked it if was legs) and how it felt. I completely shut up and didn’t say a word. Very inappropriate!

Had good sales on coke products and only place I can find Gwaltney sausage. Wish there were one closer to where I live in fredericksburg but they all left so I only go when I am passing by. No change.

On September 29th, at 6:26 p.m. I had the worst experience at this location. I went to buy water for an event that I am having over the weekend. I got treated like a thief, humiliated, and discriminated against. This black lady in self pay. I don't know if she's the supervisor, but she was absolutely rude. Started yelling at me in front of other customers. Basically, she yelled at me that I should never come back to the store ever again. I will not say that the store is bad. Your employees need better customer service.

This evening was a bust. This store used to have consistently great customer service and great service at the cash register. I went to the deli at 6:45 pm today. There was a man that kept printing labels and going in the back. He did not acknowledge my presence at all. After standing there several minutes thinking he would be back out soon, I rang the service bell. HS comes up front and says they’re closed. 1) Why didn’t you say that when you saw me standing there for several minutes waiting? 2) Why are you closed at 6:45 pm? He said he’s by himself and is closing early and he’s already cleaned/closed all the equipment. So, nothing purchased… I would’ve looked like a jerk making him slice deli meat and clean everything again. I didn’t seek help it a manager but happened to pass him while picking up some produce. Just said I don’t want anyone to get in trouble but they really shouldn’t shut down equipment before their closing time. This was 10-15 minutes after I had been at the deli and the manager said the deli shouldn’t be closed, even then. The cashier was very friendly and personable but this is the third time they’ve bagged the wrong food together (such as milk and juice with fresh peaches). Please teach the new staff how to bag so produce and bread isn’t squished or damaged.

I have to do an update to my previous review. So there is a AWESOME Food Lion employee in the deli named Skye. She is the nicest and most responsive grocery store employee I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in a grocery store. I can’t say enough nice things about her and her willingness to assist a customer and go above and beyond. I appreciate her so much. Food Lion I hope you look at these and know how lucky you are to have Skye as an employee. I have been coming there just because of her ( and the shredded chicken for my foster cat Lol) and as a result I grab other items Where before that honestly, I maybe went to Food Lion three or four times a year even though it’s the closest grocery store to meI Usually have a good experience in this grocery store. It’s close to my house and where I go if I need something fast. Nice they have curbside pickup now and their store club generates some decent coupons. All in all I recommend it. Now if they could just Lysol wipes and spray.....

Very bad service, one of the worst manager. She left the western union register when I reached her, she asked me to give her one second and then she spend more than 30 minutes in unnecessary things like moving cards and talking laughing to other associates.

The store is clean and fairly well stocked. Supply chain issues probably contribute to the lack of some items. Employees seem pleasant enough. Didn't need any assistance so I can't comment on that. Plenty of parking out front and the lot was clean.

Purchased items from this Food Lion. It was obvious they had gotten very hot all the chocolate was melted and everything was stuck together. Poor storage quality.

It is the worst store in the area. The customer service is of no use. Rude and ill mannered staff has wrong offices.The black lady is the worst customer service rep. She should be expelled from her position.I will email the higher management specially to report about her. She is nasty lady.She doesn't deserve that position. Overall staff is not worthy if their position. They don't help customers.

I called the grocery department with a question about Cheerwine soda. I was told that they did not stock Cheerwine, but management was very nice about it. I found the conversation so pleasant I gave them five stars for courtesy alone.

Customer care service at the deli/bakery department is unsatisfactory. There is one particular employee who was there on Tuesday night with the most disgusting attitude. It felt like I was bothering her and she just didn't wanted to take my order because she was lazy.Please to remove her from that department

I often do reviews, but this stuck with me so profoundly that I needed to. I have never had such an unpleasant visit to any store like the one that I just had not even 45 minutes ago. This store ha gone through drastic changes, the changes in staff is always frequent. This afternoon as I was just about ready to check out, there was a young man ( teen) who was in a store uniform waiting at the end of the check out counter ( obviously he had an available register) I looked at him, he returned the look and finally I asked "are you open" he looked down at his phone because he was in the middle of texting and turned around to go around to the register. This young mane proceeded to text without a word from him, he finally put his phone in his back pocket as all the groceries were on the belt. He said nothing, except to tell me the total. I looked around at the store and saw nothing but young people, all hanging in groups , none assist the multiple customers there. I finally went to the customer service desk where I'm pretty sure the manger as well as another associate was there. No acknowledgement of me standing there for the first 3-4 minutes. Finally she says hello, I asked if they had a customer feedback card or phone # I could have and the looks on both faces changed immediately. I'm all for keeping young people working, but you can never just have a body present especially in the customer service industry. the only reason that this store is this busy is because the Shoppers has closed down. This should be the reason why you should be better. There was no customer service shown at all, not even from the manager. I will give my money to another store, I won't reward that type of behavior with my hard earned money.

Decently location. They have a lot in stock. If you shop during a sale you can save a lot of money shopping here. Parking lot is large and easy to find a parking spot. The shopping carts are not brought in quick enough at times, so the customer is left going back to the cart corral and retrieving one to shop with. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I went on a Saturday mid-day, expecting long lines but it was not the case. Lots of people shopping for Thanksgiving but they had plenty of cashiers - I walked right up and checked out. The store was fully stocked. Great experience. 👍 I love this store.

This location has been great during the pandemic! Cleaning every self check machine once each customer were complete with their transactions! The store is always clean and the employees are always customer service friendly! We will not forget the loyalty shown to the community's member during a time of need

Every time I shop here I always end up getting something with mold on it or expired. If you shop here just check the expiration dates and check your produce thoroughly. I even switched to organically produce and it wasn’t any better. Wish I had taken the pictures before tossing them in the trash.

There is a lack of quality supermarkets in Lorton, for sure. (That will hopefully change when Amazon Fresh & Lidl eventually open up!)Their produce section is small and limited, but mostly acceptable. They have been improving their offerings by having more organic and higher quality items. Their prices are reasonable.It's good for a quick supermarket run, but it doesn't check all boxes for selection and quality. (Especially for Nova standards.)
