This was one of the highest rated in this area and the second Dollar Trees in this area that I experienced. I came here to seek out utensils for a cleaning hack and Halloween decor. It seems like this Dollar Tree gets a lot of customers because items were messed through or low in supply.PROs:Lots of new items I haven't seen in other Dollar Tree like individual serum capsules and DVDs.Many DVDs I liked and selected for purchaseGreat customer serviceHad the cleaning supplies I needed for the home.Had a lot of Mexican gummy candy peach rings flavored with Tajin- my favorite snackHalloween projector I wanted was there for only $1.25.CONs:Limited in cold drinks. Some of the machines were not working and keeping the drinks cold.Not able to bring my cart outside to carry all my bags.Limited book section

Worst Dollar Tree I have EVER been to. Even if old, run-down neighborhoods I’ve been to throughout the country. The staff literally puts a box of merchandise on the shelves without even opening it. So as a customer I’m expected to find a box cutter and open it to know what’s in there and buy it? Go to any aisle, this is on any shelf and any day of the week—not just when they’re restocking. I drive to another store 20 minutes away because I can’t come to this one. It is trashed and disgusting.

I’m usually impressed with the organization and selection in this sore but I just left and the place was just ransacked. I saw no less than 5 items that were opened, consumed and left in an aisle. There was a guy in the corner on his phone watching something with a lot of profanity in it that I could hear while I was shopping in his general area. I thought maybe he was a boyfriend of the cashier waiting for her shift to end or maybe security. 🤷🏻‍♀️turns out he was the cashier. 🤦🏻‍♀️ holidays are coming, hopefully this improves.

Large selection. One of the nicest in Alexandria. Organized and variety of items. Great craft item selection, storage, candy, medicine, food/frozen food, school supplies, toys and household products etc. $1.25 now.

Have a very decent selection of dollar items. Everything is a dollar here unlike some dollar stores. Parking is great. The store is clean. The staff is friendly. The only item that I have found in the store that does not work properly consistently are the headphones. Highly recommended for first stops.

First time visiting here. Very nice and clean interior and very nice and respectful staff. I gave it a 2 star because. I wanted to use the restroom and I walked in and walk right back out. THE DIRTIEST AND FILTHIEST AND BEYOND NASTY. I had to control my nausea and I just had breakfast. The smell was like it hasn’t been cleaned since the time it was built. The toilet not flushed and stains everywhere NASTY NASTY NASTY. If the bathroom for public is beyond nasty then what about ppl working there? do they wash their hands in the filthy nasty restroom? I wish I taken a picture but I couldn’t I was about to vomit. Never Never again!! Ewwwsas

This use to be one of the best dollar stores to go to ...but now I would avoid it all cost if you can. I get that every place is short staffed but my God there has to be some standards that you go by. First of all the cashier was beyond SLOW. I mean he took SLOW to a whole new level. He was either high on something or just didn't care. (He looked high.) It took him 16 minutes to ring up my 14 items and give me change. He was staring off in space while trying to scan items. He was apparently trying to read my shirt which took him a whole 6 minutes before he took his eyes off my shirt.On top of that there is clearly no dress code he had on ripped jeans with a shirt that had explicit writing on it. It's just ridiculous all the way around. Dollar store needs to pay people more than minimum wage and have some standards. I will definitely pay a little more and go to Walmart at this point.

Came to this Dollar Tree to be blasted out on the intercom “no pets allowed in the store only guide dogs!”I arrived to shop, not for 1). an employee to asume that my service dog was a pet; 2). Be put out on the spot and embarrass me over the intercom as soon as entering the store so everyone can break neck and stare to question why there’s a dog in the store.My service dog, not only is fully trained but she was in uniform with readable patches stating “SERVICE DOG DO NOT PET” on both sides of her vest. I also have “service dog” on her leash.Luckily one of the customers were observant enough to state to their cashier that announced the situation that my dog is a service dog.The lady later apologized as I was exciting the store without buying anything because I was already uncomfortable after hear the announcement.This is ridiculous and I’m glad I was able to get my anxiety controlled. It could have been worse.Retrain your staff.Don’t embarrass people with disabilities because you do not know who has what.If you have an issue with a customer just walk up to them and politely speak to them.It would have been fine if she had asked me in private if the canine was a service dog instead of assuming.She made a mockery of herself.

This is a very clean store with a VERY unprofessional staff. It's no reason why there should be so many employees walking about but not tending the cash register ultimately making me (literally was the only person in line) wait for multiple minutes while they keep paging for an employee named "Amir." In all honesty I was on the verge of just taking what I needed and leaving. It would have been up to them to report the shop lifting and I would have just dealed with the misdemeanor and if Dollar Tree needed the money for 4 items that items that I'm sure cost pennies to make I would have sent them the check. I basically told the woman who ended up ringing me up all of this to which now she wanted to act like an authority and tell me I can't take stuff that isn't mine. Like I told her those 4 items are mine because store or not paid for or not I picked them out so if you all can do what you want then I can do what I need and take this cheap mess and leave. Then we can really see who's stuff it really is. Plus at the end of the day all the thousands of dollars I've spent with the company shows that I've paid the cost to be the boss if you all won't based off the level of professionalism I saw being displayed.I know my review screams anger but it yell unprofessional frustration even louder. I swear it was 3 employees just standing around watching, and kept paging this guy Amir who was either in the bathroom and or loafing around. Whatever the case this location needs to be properly re trained or ALL of them on staff March 28th 2023 need to be fired immediately."YEAH I SAID IT"

Recently changed from a Dollar Store to Dollar Tree franchise. The store had a minor renovation mainly a relocation of many categories. It's not really a dollar store. A lot of prices inreased by $0.25-$0.50. Greeting cards are mostly 2/$1 but now a better quality of cards are available for $1.00 each. The store is much busier than before requiring constant restocking. Most of the employees are busy emptying cases of merchandise and stocking the shelves. There's always stacked cases partially blocking the aisles. Lots of out of stocks and the merchandise that is there is not well organized on the shelves. They carry socks but most are not displayed on pegs. They're thrown into large piles on the base shelves. Customer service is not a priority, in fact it's obvious because they ignore the customers. Usually only one, and on a rare occasion, two registers are open. Very few shopping carts and baskets are available. But hey, I go there because of the prices, not for how I'm greeted

Not sure whats going on at this location, but the store is a mess and the shelves are all empty there are carts with boxes on the aisles but no one unpacking them. They seemed to be very short staffed, Dollar tree should raise their pay maybe that can attract more applicants. positive- Cashier was very friendly and helpful.

They have stock of most items, but everything is not orderly. It is evident that they don't have a thorough stock crew. And not everyone working is as nice as expected for customer service. But those that are nice are pleasant. If you happen to buy any edible items, definitely check the expiration date!

My experience @ the Dollar Tree was excellent as usual. I purchased several item's I needed for just several dollar's. Check out was pleasant and good. This Dollar Tree is organized and clean. I occasionally see merchandise on the floor but nothing like some of its counterpart stores in the area. The staff is helpful and when lines are long, they open another lane. I appreciate that and I will be a repeat customer.

The store has a good variety and is usually a good go to. BUT the gentleman named Gerry that works there is rude and unprofessional, I've had a few encounters with him and each time it's the same. He has a nasty attitude and talks to customers very rude.

Very organized and clean store. Very inexpensive prices. They always offer holiday decorations right up front. Customer service is ok but could be better. Coupons accepted. Sunday paper sold a day or so after Sunday. Some name brand items.

Horrible customer service. There was only one cashier working the register and literally 11 people waiting in line. There were a total of 3 employees in the front office laughing and holding random conversations. When the cashier called for help the manager laughed and told her to wait. Terrible experience.

This is a large, well organized store. I can always find great seasonal items as well as gift bags, etc. Parking can be a little difficult after work with people going to the gym next door.

Well, as advertised, everything is now $1.25. It was widely posted everywhere, so no one should be taken by surprise. Other than that, everything was as it's always been. The price increase won't prevent me from shopping there for certain items.

Today a large line. Only one cashier working. The cashier name Jane or Jene. Extremely rude. Unprofessional. I asked for merchandise divider. She pulled it of my hand. when asked the reason she said: I decide who going to be using it. This is for me do not touch. Pay and go. This person should not be serving customer.

The store manager Gene was extremely rude, even after I continued to be polite when asking for his assistance with purchasing some balloons. If I hadn't of needed the balloons so badly and on a time frame I would have walked out. Boo!

Me a d another lady wantes to buy ballons. One one person at the register. I asked can someone help us. Vanessa came out went straight to the register and called the next customer. We were there waiting for a while. She tries to ignore us. She gave us attitudes. Bad customers services.
