They got rid of the grab and go shopping experience. I have never seen a more self-destructive business decision in my life! There is no reason to go there anymore. Now it is just more expensive without any added convenience. Now they are just like every other store that tries to turn you into a part time employee there, except you are paying them to work there. I will not return to this store until the grab and go shopping returns!

Tonight I came to get groceries for the first time and to drop off an item I was returning to Amazon.It’s a cool concept you can scan your phone to go inside if you have Amazon prime or maybe just Amazon. They have a decent selection on lots of stuff. They don’t have the best prices, I think they could offer better prices if they are trying to cut down on the employees working there. It’s out of the way for me so I don’t think I’ll be back here, I think the inside of the store kind of feels like an Aldi, feels dirty, just my thoughts everyone should try it at least once.My favorite store is whole foods and the commissary so if that helps.🤷🏻‍♀️Have fun shopping

Visited for the first time today out of curiosity but probably won’t be going back. It gives a drab dystopian vibe as the entire store is grey and black with hundreds of cameras lining the ceiling so you can shop without checking out. Many essentials were not available so I ended up having to stop at another store any ways. And if you do want to check out be prepared to wait a long time as they have no self check out and are understaffed. Cool concept but not for me I guess.

My second visit is 5 months after the store opening. My return visit to the area allowed me a chance to use an Amazon gift card. I found interaction with Customer Service, Deli, and my cashier were all positive and helpful to navigate my second visit.

Mix between a regular grocery store and a whole foods. Unique features are offered to prime members and those who have Amazon pay on file. Ability to walk in and walk out without having to go to register. Prices seem very good.

So cute! Nice prepared food, sushi, and salad bar selection. We stopped on the way to the auto train. Well staffed and good customer service. Not as good an organic selection as Whole Foods, but definitely many similar items. The person complaining about pricing is maybe not used to quality foods? Salad bar is definitely cheaper than Whole Foods but has smaller selection too. Still able to put together a nice big healthy meal tho! 🎉🙂

This was my fist and prob last time in the store. Was very weird experience to me. Alot of dark and dreary atmosphere. I got some stuff from the hot bar, it'd been like it was sitting there all morning. Not the greatest. There's no music or anything. Very quiet. There's some kinda scanners all ove the top of the store . Was a very uncomfortable feeling. Prices were not competitive either, selections low compared to a bigger store. I think I'll just stick to Walmart for now. It more normal.

I don't know why the entry code is so buried in the app, but I could use my credit card to enter & exit. No, I'm not giving Amazon my biometrics.I got there 15 before closing, most of the staff was cool, but one overzealous staffer kept telling me multiple times how many minutes left until closing, and kept walking by giving me looks the rest of the time... even after I told him, the first time, that I knew I had 10 minutes. Started to feel like he was watching me as much as all the cameras in there. I'm not gonna keep anyone there 30 minutes after closing, so damn... do you want me spending more money there, or don't you?Other than that... it's fine.

This has quickly become my favorite grocery store in the area!Although some prices can be a bit high, if you shop sales, you can really get amazing prices for groceries!Additionally, the people that work there are so friendly! I’ve been there 3 times and every time it has been such a pleasant experience!

Extremely confusing, employees didn’t seem very friendly or eager to explain anything either. Self checkout is only if you have the Amazon app. Don’t waste your time just go to a regular grocery store.

I had an okay experience but not a great one. When I first came in the young man working the front was super helpful but up until I left I was constantly mean mugged by some of the people in the store. You can actually go in and buy your groceries without checking out at a register. Some things were really picked over.

This place is awesome! Never busy, and always some great deals. The selection can be a bit more limited sometimes but it's a great shopping experience. The walk-out shopping is awesome and doing pickups is a breeze.

Everything that made me shop here is gone. No more staffed butcher counter. No more tap in and out so I could minimize human contact. They even got rid of the Amazon package lockers. Why does this still exist besides Amazon returns?

If I could give zero stars I would. Store was supposed to open at 7am for Christmas Eve. I arrived by 7 to find that the store was still closed. Waited a few more minutes and the doors were still locked. At about 7:10 I saw employees walking around the store, another customer who was also waiting for the store to open began knocking to get the attention of the employees, none of them looked over but continued to walk around mindlessly. At about 7:18 some of the employees walked out from the employee entrance to rest in their cars but did not open the store. I left at 7:25 as they did not open. Will never return

Store is clean and in good order. The big issue is the lack of some staples. I have visited 4 times and they never had whole or 2% organic milk. Some days the shelves are almost empty. The pick up and go shopping works well, and they correct any issues quickly.

This is a very clean and convenient market. There is a large selection of goods and ready to eat hot foods and salads. If you have an Amazon account you can easily checkout with your phone app.

The store is clean, was fairly well stocked despite it being Thanksgiving Day, 5he bathrooms were clean, and we found what we were looking for and more! Schnitzel = SCORE! We were pleasantly surprised by some of the items on offer and made sure to try a few as well as stock up on everyday essentials. The staff were kind, helpful, and friendly as well.

But I can't recommend anyone suffering through grocery shopping back in the stone ages compared to competition.Amazon really let me down.Plus how is one of two sponsored EV chargers already broke.Seriously!!!

It appears that Amazon is not fully committed to their Fresh store concept. There are few employees available to offer assistance, and those who are present lack any care or attention to the job. The shelves are ALWAYS half empty, with entire sections completely bare. On multiple occasions, I've checked the Amazon app for a specific item, the app shows it as in stock and available, but the shelf location is empty, and employees are unable to provide assistance.The fresh salad bar and hot food bar food is excellent, assuming there are enough employees to keep it stocked during lunch. I’ve visited around 1pm to find multiple empty pans. Upon checking with what might have been a manager, was told nothing will be restocked for a few hours due to insufficient employees. I often have to ask for utensils, napkins or little cups for the salad dressing as those items don’t seem to be proactively refreshed.The shop and go concept is interesting, and it sort of works, but it takes up to an hour after shopping for the receipt to post in your Amazon account. I’m usually only buying two or three items, should be simple, yet I have been charged for items not purchased too many times.While requesting refunds through the Amazon app is quick with minimal explanation required, the inconvenience of having to double-check receipts for errors hours later is frustrating. I only use the attended checkout lane now, but then we run back into the “not enough employees” problem on the very few occasions the checkout lane is busy.Amazon Fresh could be awesome, but I feel it is lost and drifting in the mega ocean called Amazon Corporate. Focus has already shifted to whatever the Next Great Thing from Amazon might be. This Fresh store absolutely suffers from lack of attention, poor inventory management and poor execution of basic retail principles.

So fun being able to just tap in, grab what I need and tape out without the hassle of a line. I do wish this store had baskets laid out in the front, it’s possible I just missed them when walking in.Absolutely would come back and shop here on my. East road trip through the area :)

Always out of stock of at least one important item on my list.Consistently inconsistent with quality and keeping items in stock, particularly produce. With few exceptions, every time I’ve gone with a normal grocery list, there has been at least one item (usually more) that’s been out of stock, causing me to need to go to my previous grocery store anyway. Entire sections of produce and dairy sections have been totally empty on multiple occasions. Additionally, their produce is sub par in quality. Items spoil before their sell by dates, sometimes moldy while still in the store. This place is pushing for high volume over high quality. I’ve gotten better organic produce from Giant.Update: With the changes they’ve done in the store, one of which is a change for the food bars from a fixed price box to a scaled/weight price structure. We just brought home a medium box that I believe was $10 fixed, and it was $21 this time. This is not worth that at all. This is sodium packed, low quality food. Now the only thing this place is good for is returning packages or quick items (if they aren’t out of stock).Summary: All the cool tech doesn’t make up for the fact that I can’t rely on that place.

A friend told me about the tuna salad with cranberries in the deli. Very good and nice people work there. Amazon is getting a bit tighter in terms of their perks for prime members. Just saying. They need to do something about wi-fi in the store too. Location isn’t too bad to get in and out of I occasionally frequent this location on Sunday mornings.

My main complaint is the fact that every, single time I come in to get food from Amazon's buffet, the cashiers feel the need to criticize how much food I've added into my buffet box. For those who need to hear it - because apparently I do every damn time - the price for the buffet is per box, not per pound. This is my last time getting food from the buffet. I'll stick to Whole Foods and Wegmans to escape the color commentary from strangers on my eating habits.

I was hyped that this came to the Lorton Area. Get in there and disappointed. Its okay but they never seem to have anything that I actually need which is surprising being its an Amazon store. Plus side is that you can do Amazon returns here which is a good thing.

Worse experience. 1st visit and last. Amazon Fresh is going to charge you whatever item you will pick up from the shelf no matter whether you would like to purchase it or not. Even if its not in your shopping cart, you will be charged for that item no matter what.Please be very cautious about this Amazon Fresh store. Unlike other grocery stores, this store is a big hassle.You can't touch or check anything at all even the medicines (to check the description, is it suitable for toddlers or adults), in the Amazon Fresh stores. Doing so will charge you the entire amount of the product.Its the Worse Grocery store I have ever seen or experience. They have charged me for something I didn't even put it in my grocery cart. They have million cameras and AI technology but still not Trustworthy grocery store. Going to this store, is very dangerous and risky.I won't recommend this grocery store to anyone.They will do transactions without even your consent.-10 Stars to Amazon Fresh

They got rid of the walkout system, no point to pay for the higher price products anymore when you also have to do self checkout or wait in line...time for Amazon to get out of the grocery store business.
