During our travel we realized that we are missing a special cord for our computer. Went to several stores in the area and could not find it but Ollie's had it! Good store! Recommend highly especially when you travel and forget something then you can find it here with affordable price!

Definitely an interesting store to browse through. However, you definitely need to be aware of your prices because not everything is a bargain. I will say there were quite a few bargains in the toy section and the book section.

The Ollie’s in rockbridge co. Va is one of the worst one that I have ever been to. It was very messy and very disappointing. I’ve been to this location many times before. It always had been very orderly.

The cashier working in this store on Oct 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm Eastern was rude and caused the store to lose my interest and my money. Only one was working, so you can figure it out fairly easily, if you're interested in retraining her. She demanded that I give her my zip code. I asked if it was required to complete the transaction; she never answered and kept elevating her voice saying "Zip code" several times - as if I was confused by what she was asking. I chose to simply say "nevermind" to the purchase and walked away. She offered to put her own zip code in to complete the transaction, but I kept walking towards the door! I should not have to answer any questions or give you any information to buy something from a salvage store! Had I not been pressed for time, I would have given her a stern verbal lashing on customer service - one that she'd remember for the rest of her life.

Ollie's is tops for closeout stores. Just be careful, and compare prices. Sometimes you can find the same thing at walmart or dollar general cheaper. Overall good deals though. Surprised Lexington has one for the size of the city.

I used to find great furniture and home decor at the Ollie's in Salem,VA (years ago). However, I haven't been able to find anything of decent quality at this store. I gave them 3 stars because I was able to return a patio umbrella. It was so sheer that I could see the sun and the sky through it AND I got sunburned as a result. I'm better off using my beach umbrella.

Pricing use to be better, now most things are the same as Walmart. Alot of the items are kinda junk. Only thing I really buy here now is shampoo or body wash because it's the best deal.

This place has exactly what they claim... GOOD STUFF CHEAP! I love walking through and getting good deals on things. For the most part, the store is very clean and organized. The free coffee section in the back could use a little more attention, but other than that I love coming here. The employees are friendly and there when you need help.

I was incredibly impressed! I’ve been to Ollie’s many times! Always enjoy spending my money… lol. I’m always impressed with inventory however I’m even more impressed with the team members and staff that was working on Dec 12th. Im not in the best of health and I had at least 4 staff members ask if I was okay ?!? Thanks for taking time on a very busy night. And checking out was alot for them… like I said I like to spend my money there. 🙄😍 and the courtesy they extended was in my opinion the best I have seen in a lot of years. May they all be praised for a job well done.

The staff here are so nice! We have only visited twice but each time everyone was polite and helpful. Carolyn helped get down 3 suitcases and was very patient as we browsed. I vave only ever been to 3 Ollie's but so far this one is the best.

Found some needed items at a good price.Some products are better quality than others.I bought auto-on motion sensor lights about 3 years ago for $5 and have never had a problem with them. I never have to turn on my stairwell lights after dark, it's automatic!! The tarps I bought were inferior, tore up in the wind, didn't buy the highest price ones though.

So much stuff, and so cheap! You'd be amazed at what you can find. I just got a cookie cutter for $0.15! I recommend going there more as a fun outing when you're not looking for something you have to have. It's more for when you have many things you've been meaning to get and you want to see if they have them. You'd be AMAZED at how much they have. I probably wouldn't get food there (they do have pantry items, I just don't know if I trust them), but they've got tons of other great stuff.

I would give more stars if I could!Ollies was introduced to me by a bunch of friends on our day off of work. We were walking in and immediately I was greeted by a large selection of products as well as a friendly staff. The products are always of good quality and the staff never tries to pressure you into buying anything.When I need anything from food to tools, Ollies has it all. Great place with great prices!

It's Ollie's. Expect good stuff cheap, but not everything is cheaper than their competitors. Most is, but not always. It's like going to a yard sale, you never know what you are going to get. But if you are into the thrill of the hunt, Ollie's is fun. Some people assume the food is outdated, not true. Never had anything expired. Sign up for the club, they'll send you discounts, that makes the prices pretty amazing.The only reason I take points off is they don't have enough employees, it seems, if you need help with something. And sometimes it's so crowded (with merchandise) it's hard to even get down the aisle.
