When I initially called Aaron to inquire about Rottweilers, it seemed as if he expected me to already know exactly what I wanted. It was my first time researching and trying to understand the type of breeder he is, which is not unreasonable. However, I still made an appointment to see the puppies on December 27, and Aaron was very welcoming to my dad and me. He showed us his awards as a Rottweiler judge and even allowed us to hold the puppies, being extremely accommodating.After a discussion with my wife, we decided we would get a puppy from Aaron. On the 29th of December, we put a deposit down for our puppy and Aaron was quick to respond. I had asked about what to bring when we pick up our puppy and there was no response to that other than the money being received and when to pick up our puppy.On the 16th of January, we asked for an update and Aaron responded quickly, sending pictures of our puppy.On the 25th of January, we asked for another update; however, this time it took a while. After a couple of days, I reached out to him again and he was able to send a picture of our puppy.On Feb 10th, we picked up our puppy, and one thing I definitely noticed in Aaron's reviews is the temperament of the Rottweilers he has, and they are amazing. Our puppy is so easily trained and well-behaved. Aaron may seem overly confident when he speaks about his Rottweilers, but he has every right to do so because he can back up what he says.I got the papers for our puppy the same day, but I had to pay on AKC. Aaron was able to give us the bottles that he gave our puppy for their parvo shot for us to take to the vet.Overall I'd say it was a decent experience buying a puppy from Aaron. Just make sure you know exactly what you are looking for because Aaron takes his business very seriously.

I bought my rott in 2021 he was born in the end of january litter and I picked him up in March 2021. I highly recommend Aaron to anyone. He is a great breeder I saw his kennels myself and met all his dogs when I went. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows what he’s talking about. I saw the countless trophies and pictures of AKC comps including when he was a judge and had many rotts judged. I told him exactly the temperament I wanted in a dog and that’s exactly what I got. He has been the best dog in the world. He has the temperament for a service dog which is rare and he’s extremely obedient. The bond my rott and I have is so rare to see. I am so thankful and hope to be able to purchase again when looking for another rottie.

The quality, temperament, and beauty of these pups is everything you look for in the "perfect" Rottweiler. We had a seamless experience from the beginning when we contacted Aaron to the day we brought our pup home. He was responsive, informative, and all around great to work with. His years in the industry are evident from not just his collection of awards, but his knowledge of the breed. I would highly recommend purchasing from him. The pups are flawless and nothing short of perfect.

We found Aaron's website and reached out looking for a new male pup. Aaron seemed very knowledgeable about the breed and brought comfort to us with his knowledge. We drove to his house February 18th 2023. After leaving a deposit we were told he would want us to come back and visit with the litter to find the right temperament pup for us. Everything sounded great. After leaving it was difficult getting back in touch with Aaron. He did not respond well or allow us to come back and see the litter. We did receive a great looking and tempered male as we were told but had no records of vaccinations so our vet had to start the process from the beginning which delayed our ability to take him out and socialize. The kennel at Aaron's house was very dirty as it was not being kept clean but rather just cleaned before our arrival. Other than those things we are very happy with the male we recieved from Aaron. He is a great addition to our family and we did recieve the AKC paperwork at our own expense. All in all, a tolerable experience buying from him. I give 4 stars due to how great this dog is with our family. If I could give 3.5 stars that is probably more accurate due to the lack of communication and and overall low level of professionalism with Aaron. We believe he has too much going on in his personal life to care for these dogs and sales the way is should be. Over all happy buyer, just recommend future buyers do your homework. If you are willing to deal with these things you may very well end up with a great dog buying from Aaron as we feel we did. Thank you.

They were there for us sold us a handsome, healthy Rottweiler. They come highly recommended. If you are looking for a top quality dog, it was worth the trip.Aaron and Rachel took care of getting all paperwork on Max despite all the craziness in the world they did not let us down.

UPDATE Rachel worked hard to get this litter registered. It took a year but I sucessfully registered my dog today. She is a beautiful dog with a great temperment. "Caveat Emptor"-let the buyer beware! Executed a contract for an AKC registered puppy. She's 10 months old, still no papers and breeder no longer responds. She's a lovely dog with a great temperment but I sure paid a lot of money for an unregistered dog. 1/14/2024, still no papers!

I searched high and low for a German Rottweiler breeder for months. I finally came in contact with Aaron and ended up purchasing my male from him. Everything Aaron told me he did. All the way. At first I was alittle hesitant, his confidence in his dogs would come off to some as maybe Arrogant. But I’ll tell you what…. He kept his word. Has always been there day or night to take my calls and questions. ( I think I drove him crazy at first). I’m a new owner of this breed.And trust me, this dog has changed my life. There is no Rottweiler in this area that compares to my “ Jacks” Jacks Hans Vom Kliveco. This dog is amazing. His temperant. His looks. His prey drive. His love for his family and children here. He’s the sweetest dog ever, but if he senses danger? Ohhhhh man….. A true family guardian and protector. Von Herschraft Kennels changed my life. I stay in contact and thank the breeder all the time. He just laughs. I was so worrisome at first. Anyhow….. We love our dog!!!! Thanks Von Herschraft and family!!!!! Still coming for my female soon enough!!PS. I JUST READ A POST BELOW ABOUT NOT GETTING THE PAPERS ON TIME. I GOT MY PAPERS 9 MONTHS LATER. I WAS FRUSTRATED AS WELL. MY DOGS MOTHER WAS NOT FROM THIS COUNTRY. SO IT TOOK LONGER. THIS BREEDER KEEPS HIS WORD. AND MY DOG IS NO “ BACKYARD DOG” HIS PEDIGREE HAS A NATIONAL CHAMPION FATHER AND A WORLD CHAMPION GRANDFATHER. GIVE THEM A CHANCE!

Really knowledgeable and down to earth owner. I’ve gotten so many compliments on Natty she is now 7 months and one of the smartest, well tempered dogs I’ve ever had. He is a man of his word and provided AKC paperwork. He is patient and answered all of my moms questions and mine. I highly recommend his pups, and for the price I paid it felt like a bargain. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great dog go to him

A year and a half ago we stumbled across this business when looking for Rottweilers in our surrounding area. We contacted Mr. Tabor who informed us that there was a litter coming up in a few weeks! We put our deposit down and in the coming weeks received pictures to keep us updated. We submitted final payment and a week later went to pick up our puppy.Mr. Tabor was very accommodating on which day we were able to pick him up, even on a Saturday evening due to the drive and our work schedule.This is our first Rottweiler and Mr. Tabor hand selected a puppy with a wonderful temperament. He gave us all the advice and pointers we needed, and always has kept the communication open.He even welcomed us back up to his home for some training a few months after having our puppy. He sent the AKC paperwork once received, and we were able to do everything needed on our end to make sure he was fully papered and registered.We will most definitely be purchasing another puppy from this business in the future when we are ready, and I would recommend anyone looking for a Rottweiler to consider this breeder.His dogs are true to the standard, are healthy, and have exceptional temperament.

We were looking for a Rottie again after our Pit Bull had to be put down. We've owned 4 Rottie's before this in NY but none made it past 10 which is why we went to Pit Bulls. We missed owning a Rottie however and wanted to get one again. We met our puppy's grandmother who was 12 and looked great. We met the parents and both had great temperments. We took 9 week old now named Jake home in July. He is now about 6 months old and everyone complements how great and well mannered he is. I taught him to sit, stay and give his paw in about 5 minutes for each command. He's very friendly and gets along great with all dogs at the dog park. He looks to be an excellent speciman. Aaron called me today to tell me his papers are in and I registered him with the AKC. Aaron will give you the number and pin to do so. The dog is so full of energy. He did come down with round worms likely from the dog park drinking from a shared water bowl there. We knew it would be a risk but I read an article stating it's more important to socialize a Rottie even though there is a risk of catching something while their immune systems are not the strongest at that early an age but the risk of an unsocialized dog puts your dog at greater risk of being put down.

We contacted Aaron about purchasing a puppy. By our good fortune, he just had a litter! We drove 800 miles round trip to see a tiny little one week old puppy. While there Aaron showed us his trophies and achievements. Needless to say, there were many!! Then the waiting for our new little girl to grow old enough to come home. After what seemed like an eternity, he called and said she was ready for us. Another 800 mile drive! We had brought our new male pup (different breeder) along for the trip. Aaron even have him a vaccine shot for us while there.This little girl we got from him is the most beautiful thing. Her temperament is awesome. She’s confident, easygoing and very sweet. She handled that drive like a champ! We highly recommend his services. It is very apparent he has spent a lot of time on the Rottweiler breed. If you’re looking for something above average, this is your breeder. If you’re lucky enough to get the opportunity, take it!

Fair warning he might not respond to texts or calls as fast as the average person lol....BUT 🤚🏽 Aaron's dogs are AMAZING! Top quality! He hand picks each dog to fit their new homes perfectly. I got my boy Archer from Aaron. He is now 2 years 5 months and he is spectacular!. I got him for competing in IGP and I am not disappointed. He has incredible drives and great body conditioning. He has the best attitude and really just wants to work. I am having the best time with this absolute gem of a boy. He is a once in a lifetime dog. this is a horrible “business.” I purchased a puppy from here august of last year that was born with severe heart disease and had nothing but health issues throughout her life. when telling aaron about the heart condition when she turned 6 months, the only response received back was offering us another puppy. after seeing a cardiologist, we were told my dog would not make to age 2. my dog passed away today from cardiac arrest, she was only a year old. do your research before buying from him as he has deleted all of the negative reviews that were originally posted here. I wish i had taken those reviews more seriously before purchasing from him and now am dealing with the emotional aftermath.

If we can give Aaron no stars we would.He sounds very knowledgeable about Rottweilers but has many dogs breeding like a puppy mill. SHADY!!!!!!!!! The dog died after a month with my nephew, having to pay thousands in vet bills*** and from ***parvovirus***that he had from the”BREEDER”. This is a careless and useless mill. Stay away. He will take your money and tell you that it isn’t his fault. It’s a business not a dog enthusiast.

Says he has registered pups, so we put a deposit down , than when we picked up our pup, he says his dog doesn't have her papers so we have a wait a few months. We've waited and got nothing!! All he does is sell over priced back yard, kennel pups. First time we went there the dogs didn't even have water. You might want to pay attention to your dogs , dude!! He tried putting a female off on us knowing we was there to get a male, so he had to go trade the female for a male that had a deep bloody gash in his leg. Should be Investigated by the humane Society!!

Had my best friend pass away a couple of years ago and she was a big beautiful Rottweiler. Loved her more than anything so it took me some time to get another pup. Very disappointed! We purchased a male and female puppy in August 2021 and was told that we would receive our registration papers in 3 months. We have yet to receive our papers. After numerous phone calls and text messages we have not received a response from the seller. Without our papers we can't prove the puppies are purebreed.

I have been waiting for papers for the dog I purchased almost three years and this guy will not answer my calls, even though he has responded to my texts and inbox messages saying he would give them to me with no problem...but of the 30+ times I have called him, I've gotten nothing. So now I can't properly mate this nice dog I have because I can't provide prospective new owners with papers of the mother. What a waste...
