Great General merchandise employees and Customer Service Desk employees are pleasant and knowledgeable about the location of the products and even help me read the back label due to semi poor eyesight to make sure I am not getting something that may have ingredients I am allergic to. I am a diabetic who is insulin dependent and they help make sure that I'm not going to get something that would drop me low or spike my sugar extremely high. The pharmacy Techs and Pharmacist are pretty cool and helpful.

We stop in Giant when we're in the neighborhood visiting our family. After getting the few items we needed, we went to checkout where the associate Scott had been standing away from the customers as they checked out. Once my wife, son, and myself (African American) went to checkout, he moved closer. I'm bagging our groceries as my wife is swiping. She says to me that she feels uncomfortable because he is hovering close to us while there's other white customers ringing out. So I just said to her I'm going to speak on it once we finish. She missed swiping a product and set it on the machine. Before I can pick up the product to swipe it again the associate says that wasn't swiped. So, at this point, I'm highly pissed. I'm already pissed that you're hovering over the only black ppl checking out while there are 3 other white families checking. At this point, I'm being racially stereotyped. How many times have ppl swiped a product and had to swipe it again, or maybe even a third or a fourth time. THAT IS EMBARRASSING!!!! To be black in America is a struggle. We have racist white ppl like Scott who need to not work with the public or need some classes on race, diversity, and inclusion. I spoke with the store manager, who said he would have a talk with him. What's a talk when it will continue. And he possibly does it to the wrong person who won't take it lightly.

I’ve always done my grocery shopping at giant. I enjoy making small talk with some of the workers there cause they are all pleasant.About 3-4 months ago I ended up purchasing the lotus reusable bags they sell at the front cause I refuse to pay for plastic bags. And I love how easy they are to store. I always keep them in the trunk of my car.Well I went to grab a few things and pulled out two random color bags out of the trunk of my car that just happened to “match” the two that were missing from a set in the store. I had two Hispanic ladies approach me near check out and accuse me of taking them out of the set. When I told them I got them from the trunk of my car they didn’t believe me and were very clear about it. I even asked where the set was when they found it and the response I got was “over there”. Seems like a very vague response. Highly doubt I’ll be coming back to this location.

How disappointing that you are the only grocery store that opens at 6AM in downtown Leesburg yet when I went to check out the person who has the keys to be able to allow anyone to check out was not at work. This was at 6:25 AM. This has happened twice now in the morning.

Their lost prevention measures have gotten out of hand. Now, when you use their "self-checkout", it is more of pain than ever as it an over-complicated system of weighing your items and will freeze the checkout process when it thinks you may have put something in your bag that you shouldn't have. Also, they do not provide ample space for your non-plastic bags, so it makes the process even more cumbersome. A cherry on top of the whole process is someone watching your every move to make sure you are not trying to game the system. Oh yea, and their produce and meat section of horrific. I'm done with Giant.

If you are going to have more than 5 or 6 self checkout lanes open then mngr better have someone there to help as there were 3 checkouts waiting for assistance with flashing lights and no one there to help. The mngr or cashier at the lottery counter was busy chatting with someone rather than helping. Once I finally got her attention she went over to two other people to help them first when I had asked for her help first. It was pretty obvious there was some kind of discrimination going on. She then also cut me off with my cart as I was leaving as well. Really rude customer service.

This is a clean, bright, and well stocked grocery store. Most of the employees there are friendly and helpful; I say "most" because you do occasionally encounter an unfriendly staff member, but it is pretty rare.The store has very good produce and meat departments. There is a butcher on-site during daytime hours who is always willing to answer questions or do custom cuts.Prices are competitive.

I've been loyal to the Giant brand for years but huge shout out to the employees who work here. I came in early this morning (3/14/20) because I know everyone is panicked about Coronavirus right now and I needed some groceries. A customer in the parking lot told me that they had been almost completely wiped out last night and I came in and could tell that there were more employees than usual restocking. They had most of the shelves restocked, even if there were only a couple things in places. One woman even asked the employee restocking if he had an item and he showed her exactly what he had on his cart as well as helped her find an item she had simply overlooked because it was below eye level. I am so very grateful to all the employees of this Giant. You all are seriously front line fighters against fear and panic. Also, the sanitizing wipes for carts was stocked for anybody who wanted to use it. Keep kicking butt and thank you again!!!Updating 8/25/22: Still love this Giant! The renovation looks great and everyone is always really nice. Can't believe it's been two years since I wrote this review. Keep being awesome, Giant!Updating 2/21/23: Still my local Giant and still loving it -- they're usually very clean and well stocked and I really enjoy the wide variety of products they have! Plus, the team members are all super helpful and friendly.

They have a good selection but you have to be very careful when shopping here. I frequently find items on the shelf that have been opened. I have even accidentally bought opened items, a bag of tortillas and yes a tortilla was missing. Quality is not controlled here and you do need to double check expiration dates as well.

Unlike most stores in the area, it has a good selection of fruits and vegetables (Wegmans does bear it). You can also get fresh dill and parsley here. Cashiers are always fast, nice, and helpful.

Stopped in after work for a ‘quick’ shop. Don’t do self checkout (don’t work at this store). One line open on a Friday evening, 5 customers ahead of me. Stood in line 25 minutes. Ridiculous!

The giant food is located very close to my apartment and I was able to pick up some things while on my way to get get my hair cut. Conveniently located in Leesburg. Very nice employees. They are forever changing where things are in this store. If you go in every week you might know where things are. But I rarely go into Giant. And it took me a long time to find 5 items and to figure out how to get out. It would be nice also as someone who is going to be going into surgery in a matter of weeks with my back to actually find the carts that a motorized.

Standard fare grocery store. Prices seem reasonable. We split shopping between here Costco and the dollar store...produce is generally fresh and the store is clean. They have public restrooms in the back which is handy if you have kids. They also have a water fountain on site.

***Update***If I could give this store less than 1 star I would!!! I have not been back in 3 months per my last review but unfortunately I went there today to pick up money from Western Union, bad idea!!! The "customer service" desk employee was beyond rude, and actually made it seem like she could not give me my money. Money that was already paid for to be sent to me via Western Union. She asked if she could give me a money order instead of cash. I refused, and she refused to give me money because she claimed they did not have it. Well of course I asked to see a manager who then pretended I was not standing right there and asked her if I did not want the money order? I guess this is a regular occurrence at this location. Well, the manager got the cash, because I knew the store had the cash and I will not return. I spent no money at this location, I will shop else.Buyer beware!!This is one of the worst customer service Giant Supermarket locations I have ever been to. The blonde female "customer service" manager is one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever seen. While there are a few pleasant employees at this location I cannot get over the ones who go out of their way to be rude. My money is as green as the next person and i will gladly take it to one of the many other local supermarkets. I go here mainly for the gas discount, however the poor treatment I consistently receive had made it not worth the trip.

Decent grocery store. Nice staff, large self check-out area, okay prices and selection. My one gripe is that the produce, particularly the unrefrigerated section (onions, avocados, tomatoes, etc), are often in bad condition.

I just always feel like this place is super dated and not particularly clean It feels as though there's an old layer of dirt right across everything It has quite a wide variety but at the same time there's often gaps on the shelves where they're missing items. Personally I'd rather go to Target

This Giant is well stocked, clean, and has reasonable prices on most things. They have a good produce section and a really good vegetarian, vegan section. People who works there are very nice and helpful.😃👍

I can't say I frequent this Giant, but it is pretty close to home and is very convenient when I'm in a rush. I have not had any issues with any of their products and it's usually pretty stocked up.

I'm not really a fan of their fuel rewards program. Yes i will save $5 to $8 on gas per fill up, but Giants higher prices offset those savings. I'm just not a fan of these types of gimmicks. Also, they are out of cherry coke every time i need a 12 pack of my favorite carbonated sugary beverage.

Reasonable prices and generally friendly staff. Produce is so so and organic selection is not as broad as other area grocery stores. Grab and go deli meats and cheeses are always sliced too thickly.

Nothing much to say to be honest, it is your average grocery store but, it has a bigger selection of foods than other stores. Also has some of my favorite cereals that I can't find at other stores.
