We enrolled our 7 month old Labrador Retriever in the two week program for basic obedience - WOW!!!! OLIVIA was absolutely FABULOUS to work with!! She worked wonders with our "fur baby" and we couldn't be more thrilled!!! She was also terrific in working with my husband and me, in training US as to how to continue his good behavior at home :-) THANK YOU, OLIVIA - you're a rock star!!!

I love Dog Day Afternoon! I can drop my dog off for a couple hours or the whole day. She’s always happy to go and tuckered out when she gets home. Their retail shop and bakery are also precious. Highly recommend!

I love this place. We first found out about it when we needed obedience training for our dog. The trainers are excellent, the training is indoors which is great during the muggy summers. They have these amazing dog treats sold as sausages that you cut up: it's like crack for dogs they love it so much. Those treats alone have been a tremendous help in training.

I love this place ! All of the ladies there are amazing. It's in a perfect location where the dogs get to go on walks thru the town of leesburg. I know that my dog is excited to arrive in the mornings and always has fun during her days there. She has plenty of friends to play with ! And it's 1/4 mile from my job so extremely convenient to drop off or pick her up on my way to and from work. They are the best and affordable

We just started there today with puppy classes and we had a great experience. A nice balance between challenging the pups without demanding perfection. It made for a very positive experience for the owners as well as the pets. I'm really looking forward to training my dog and attending more classes!

LOVE dog day afternoon! I was nervous about taking our newly adopted pooch there, but quickly realized there was no need to be! The staff members and owner are huge dog lovers and incredibly professional. The small play groups are carefully chosen, making it a much safer, enjoyable, low stress environment, than larger groups. They recently groomed our girl during her daycare visit, and oh boy does she smell and look beautiful. Affordable daycare and grooming..thank u everyone at Dog Day. You've all been a blessing for Dasia!!

I've taken both of my dogs through the Advanced Obedience class with Phil, and plan to continue taking his classes. He makes his classes fun and has great intuition, challenges the dogs in a positive way, and gives great constructive feedback on how to grow as a handler and a team with your dog.The staff is friendly and helpful, and prices for the goodies they sell are very reasonable.Would highly recommend them for dog training!

The ladies at Dog Day Afternoon are awesome! I brought my 8 week old pug puppy, Brody, to them today and they took WONDERFUL care of him. I was of course nervous about leaving my little baby with strangers and somewhere he has never been. But as soon as I arrived any remaining reservations I had went out the window. The facility is very well organized and very clean. They have a very good system for grouping the dogs, and are very good at gauging which dogs should or shouldn't be around eachother.Everyone there is so friendly! They did such a great job making my little Brody feel comfortable and right at home. He had a great time and I couldn't be more pleased!

Just completed Basic Obedience with my rambunctious young terrier. The instructor, Sandy, was positive, experienced, and organized, allowing her to spend time as needed with each student. The facility was excellent and the store staff nice to work with. We learned a lot, enjoyed the experience, and are looking forward to advanced training. Highly recommended!

Our Boarder Collie, Quincy, has been going to Dog Day Afternoon for a few months now. The whole team made us feel comfortable and patiently answered all of our questions. The trainers and caretakers truly love animals and always make sure our pup has the best day! For parents with a high energy dog, day care here is a must.

Deb is awesome. We took our new puppy to the puppy kindergarten and it was well worth it. The shop is also very nice and prices are on par with anywhere else in the area. We have not tried the grooming yet, but if it is anything like the training it will exceed expectations.

I brought my dog here for basic obedience training. It has been great for the both of us. I'm more consistent with my dog and he's a much better listener. Before you resign yourself to "that's just how my dog is" please check out the classes here.

Wonderful !! Dog loves playing with others (supervised by experienced staff) and comes home happy and tired :) Wonderful training schedules from basic to advanced ... training at the school in groups helps socialize the dogs and teach pet owners safety tactics for the unexpected. Private lessons at home also available and worked great for us as new young puppy owners ... how to get sleep and do household chores without feeling guilty about placing puppy in crate for a few hours.

Before the obedience class even started the instructor singled out our dog and said that he was aggressive. Multiple smaller dogs were barking and lunging, but he didn't call those dogs out for being aggressive. I'm sorry but we have had our dog for months and have been to multiple dog parks off leash and dog play dates. He has come to work with me and played with kids and had no issues at all. Our dog might have some puppy energy but is not aggressive. Also, if our dog was perfect than we wouldn't be doing a class in the first place. Why would I just waste $150. Even the shelter we got him from used him as the dog to determine if other dogs could handle being in a home with other animals. The instructor only saw our dog for maybe 2 minutes before coming to the conclusion that our dog was aggressive. He told us we should just do private lessons in order to get the aggression under control. Worst experience ever.

I don't live in the area, so I can't comment on the doggie day care. However, I was walking by and saw so many great gifts for dogs and dog-lovers in their window. I got a gift for my dog (Halloween themed) and a gift for a dog-loving friend - all at reasonable prices.

I really like this pet service. The offer day care, grooming, training, and sell pet food.We buy are food here. Not only are their prices less than Petco and Petsmart, they will special order for you.We use to go to an expensive groomer. Now we take our dog to the Dog School who do an excellent job and charge much less.The staff is excellent and will help with any thing you need.

Nice park to take a dog for run and play. It's large enough for dogs to run around, but it's not huge. It well kept, covered with wood chips.
