Haven't had a better bagel around here and the breakfast sandwiches are very good. Hash browns look like your standard hash brown patty but are quite tasty. Coffee comes in standard, small cups (12 oz, I believe), but is priced accordingly. If you like a good bagel, definitely give this place a try.

The bagels are okay. Not bad, not exceptional. The service is friendly, the bagels are presented exactly how one would want one with schmear when on the go, and the place has a fun NYC motif going on. They advertise the bagels are certified kosher, which is good to know. I do miss getting morning fresh NYC bagels, and the reheating which is done just doesn't quite do the bagel justice compared to fresh, though it's nice they are perfectly reheated as best as possible...Overall it's the best place to get a bagel in downtown.

I had a chili cheese dog and a dirt dog. Both were great and came up fast. For the price and quality, I’ll definitely be back! The whole speakeasy bar behind it is super cool too.

I love bagels and these are the real NY thing! I've had the sausage egg and cheese bagel 3x now. It was an awesome, a chewy cheesy delight and my girlfriend can only eat half (lucky for me). I recommend you go early, demand has them selling out. It was 28° sunday morning at 8 am and there was a line to get in, but because they are made to order and well worth it. No indoor dining yet , but you can wait in the warmth. I'll be back to try the lox, or one of the many bagels and sandwiches soon.

Delicious NY bagels. Tastes just like back home on Long Island. Awesome staff. Pizza bagel was amazing. Thank you!!

Just dropped by Benders and picked up an assortment of bagels. The bagels are made and boiled on Long Island and then shipped down daily to Benders who then bakes them. They are not made in Sterling as one reviewer thought below. Not sure why you would make a comment like that when you have no idea where they were made. Bagels had the right amount of crust and were chewy like ones you would get in NYC. Benders is definitely a step up from what we have been able to get in the Northern VA area in the past. They don't sell by the dozen and when asked they said we are not a bakery and its too hard forecast demand if somebody asked for 6 dz for a company breakfast. They want them as fresh as possible but I am guessing if you order ahead by a day or two, they could accommodate you by shipping more bagels down on the day you want them.

Digging into this fresh steamy breakfast sandwich from Bender's Bagels! Pork roll egg & cheese in an Everything bagel. It smelled so good I couldn’t wait for the photo op! lol

Bagels were standard quality. Pricing is good. Requires 24 hours advanced notice for anything over 6 bagels, which is very low. Expected to have more on-hand availability.

Finally a good bagel place in Leesburg! We went to Bender’s for the first time today, but it won’t be the last. They make a delicious bagel in the classic NY style and flavors, don’t expect to see a French Toast bagel here, they do the basics and do them well.

Best bagels outside of New York - very authentic tasting. These aren’t just rolls with holes in the middle, they have the chew and flavor you’ve been missing. Bagels are baked fresh daily and sandwiches are made to order. Great staff, super friendly, great way to start your morning. Don’t skip the coffee either!

Most underrated bagels in Leesburg. If you are from Jersey or New York then Bender’s will remind you of home with every bite. The bacon they use is thick cut yet the sandwich is still less greasy than all the other bagel shops around. The service they provide is always top notch and the employees make you feel welcome every time you walk in.

Okay, so I was very excited about having a NY bagel place in Leesburg. I went in to the store expecting bins of bagels to take home, but what I discovered was a small cooler with a display of the 5 bagels they were selling. So I ordered a dozen bagels, but that’s not how they sell them. The guy behind the counter looked at me like I had 2 heads. So he took the order and repeated the order 3 times. I said, all I want is a dozen bagels. The order went thru and he just sat there eating a sandwich. Time went on and on, easily 10 minutes.I finally said, “do you think the order is ready?” He then looked at me and said I’ll check. I don’t know about you, but it should only take a couple of minutes to put 12 bagels in a bag. The employee came out with the bag of bagels and handed them over to me. BY THE WAY, THEY CHARGED ME $1.95 PER BAGEL! NO DOZEN DISCOUNT! I PAID $24 for a dozen bagels! REALLY?Okay so I was excited about having a great NY Style bagels and found they, bottom line, SUCKED! Giant has better bagels! Plus they tripled charged me!So, all the hype and anticipation of true NY bagels is BS. HONESTLY, I don’t think they bake their own bagels. Too bad!

Seeing as Brooklyn Bites only opened a few days ago, it had filty windows and the place appeared to accommodate about a dozen people. The music is very loud. I got a smoked sausage w/peppers. The sausage was tough and chewy. Keep in mind it is called Brooklyn Bites. My sausage bite was three bites. Reasonable prices for bites.Nothing like true Brooklyn food.Definitely not handicap friendly.

I’m curious…Has anyone writing these reviews been to NYC? I stopped by today and I can honestly tell you these are hands down the worst bagels I have ever had. Hard as a rock. Dry. Absolutely no flavor. If your expecting anything like a NY bagel take a drive to New York. This is not the place. Also here’s how it went I would like 2 blueberry bagels and 2 everything. We don’t have any blueberry. Ok how about 2 cinnamon raisin and 2 everything. We only have one everything bagel left. This was at 9:10 in the morning. Poor sweet girl looked lost. This is an HONEST review.

I loved this place. I got a Lox deluxe and it was amazing! The lounge area is nice and the treat you receive also amazing.

Stop in for a quick bagel with cream cheese or a bagel breakfast sandwich. Bagels are not made by them, they're from a commercial bakery, probably the French Bread Factory in Sterling. Definitely better than grocery store bagels, as they are proofed, boiled and baked. Not the place to go if you want a dozen bagels to take home, they just aren't set up for that kind of volume.

Took 30mins for three bagel sandwiches. Needs to hire more employees on a Saturday morning to staff appropriately. Better bagels within a short drive and less wait time with fully staffed kitchen.

I got the cheese pizza bagel, everything bagel with egg and cream cheese and a hash brown. The prices are fair, hash brown was great, crunchy, fresh, but soft inside, good taste. The bagels were both hard and rubbery, cream cheese lacked taste, on the egg bagel only one side had cream cheese.

FINALLY! A real bagel place in or around Leesburg! The bagels are brought from NY and then made fresh here. I have lived around Leesburg for 6 years and never found a bagel that comes close. Damn shop so order ahead if you can. Had the sesame bagel with my bacon, egg and cheese. It was so good I was mad when I was done eating.

Awesome!!! Delicious bagels and great staff. Still new and working out the kinks, but this definitely has all the signs of being a top breakfast joint in Leesburg. The pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel was excellent. I'll be going back for sure!

Bender’s has the absolute best bagels in Leesburg. Not only are they authentic and delicious, they’re the “correct” size to eat in a sandwich. The toppings are fresh and of great quality - even the pork roll! One really neat thing I noticed was that the entrance to Tarbender’s Speakeasy has now moved to the bagel shop. You now enter through an old fashioned phone booth - very cool.A+ strongly recommend!

The bagels were decent, but not something I'd go out of my way for, especially since the location and hours are challenging. They were very dry, so I'm not sure where all this great feedback is coming from.I also ordered some to go (6 everything and 6 plain), and found that I was only given 5 of each when I got home. I declined a receipt when paying, so I'm not sure if I paid for 5 or 6 of each, but I also ordered as 'half a dozen', so who knows what happened there.

Bagels are decent but nothing to write home about. Chive cream cheese was also underwhelming. It was a tiny portion with maybe two specks of chive in it. I wouldn't go out of my way for bagels here but if you are just walking by it might scratch your bagel itch.

Bagels boiled in NY! Served in Leesburg. Worth the trip. This tiny place in old town leesburg is a perfect find for transplanted or locals alike. I ordered three bagels, standard flavors. Just chatting I found out that the bagels are boiled in NY and baked here. What a fantastic idea since New York water is what makes a good bagel. Crunch on the outside, soft doughy inside Mine were baked to order and came out nice and hot. Sometimes they bake more at a time, but basically it is baked to orderThis is a must go to in leesburgThere are no tables and chairs. Just take out so here is a local suggestion. Grab your bagels and coffee and head to Ida Lee park about a mile down the road. They have playgrounds with tables, woodsy walking patches and green fields. Perfect for a morning treatTake note of their hours. It is 7am to 11am Tuesday through Sunday

The people are friendly and the bagel sandwiches are good. Just don't expect a NY bagel, that isn't what these are. These are some of the better bagels you will find in the area so please go there and support them.

Great people, great bagels, great prices. Stopped in for breakfast last week and my bagel and hash brown were gone during my 5 minute walk home. Definitely recommend - just make sure you get there early!
