Been taking our animals here for many years. Staff are so friendly and our dog LOVES going! Cats not so much but they just hate the vet no matter which one we used. They also board our dog when we have to go out of town. They take the Care Credit card so that's helpful for paying the bill.Updated June 2023 - The most caring, compassionate staff. Their kindness with us when our kitty died was wonderful. We refuse to take our fur babies anywhere else. I recommend highly.

Friendly staff. Did a wonderful job with my pup. However, they did overcharge me well over double what a routine neuter should cost. They didnt tell me it was going to be that much, until I was literally walking out the door from dropping him off. I was disappointed, given that in my 7 years working in veterinary medicine Ive rarely seen a spay cost $600, let alone a neuter for a 35 lb dog. They did do a great job, and were professional and nice. However I would go somewhere cheaper if you need any surgery done.

I’m using my work account, so this review is under my bosses account.The vet clinic here is top notch. They’ve seen 4/5 of my dogs and they’re just great. Prices are affordable as well! If you’re looking for a vet anywhere around lanexa VA… go here!The vet is very attentive to each dogs needs. My 10 year olds Indi (ridgeback) and Marley (German Rottweiler) were very sluggish and had trouble getting up and down the steps. After seeing the vet, they’re both lively and are moving around running around the farm like they were in 2017-2018.Great people! Great vet clinic! Extremely close to my farm which is an added bonus.If they’re still taking new patients, I highly recommend going to all creatures vet clinic! Everyone’s very nice and again, affordable. Affordable to the point where all the normal shots needed, tests and exams are on par with the “economy” pricing of the humane society and any other “low income” vets. Can’t say enough good things about all creatures.They also saw my two little girls (I don’t have kids my dogs are my kids) prior to the two 10 year olds and again, very affordable.

The practice is run by a solo vet with limited hours and difficulty getting "urgent" cases seen. Fallback is very expensive emergency vet (review your bill CAREFULLY). Doc misdiagnosed my pet with nothing more than "feeling" the body in the lobby area. Staff impersonal, not like the excellent and friendly staff under Drs. Kinkaid and Doxtater. Prices on par with Williamsburg vets, who have more office hours, veterinarians, and ability to see sick patients the same day. Fine practice for those with open calendars during the weekday and no need for urgent sick or injury care, but not for the rest of us.

We are new to the area, brought our lil Beagle, named Babygirl, for her first vet visit today, as a new patient, for her 3 year rabies booster, the staff, Dr. Berry, were great! Dr. Berry took the time, to get to know our lil girl, made her, and I feel very comfortable! We are very happy, we found this vet! Would highly recommend them, to any pet parents

Best vet ever! They were very helpful with my Daisy who has allergies. Really loved how they handle Garfield who can be quite aggressive and had some very bad experiences at a different vet. They know how to handle animals very well like my aggressive cat, very shy doggy, and are very down to earth people. Thank you all for showing me over the past two years what a wonderful vet experience is. Before I dredded going to the vet because of Garfield’s experiences. You all definitely go above and beyond!

I am a travel nurse from Alabama. My Boston terrier of 14 years was very ill. I had to make the worst decision of my life. The entire office staff from the Vet down to the techs were very consoling and genuinely cared. I made a request for us to go outside so my sweet boy could be in the sunshine as he crossed the rainbow bridge and they did it. They didn’t have to, but they wanted Boudreaux to be at ease. The Vet even sang to us. This touched my heart like you would not believe. I cannot say Thank you enough to these wonderful people who helped me through my worst moments. They are caring, sweet and wonderful. Do not hesitate taking your animal to them.

I was reccomend by a friend to this place. My dog was sick and needed immediate care, the staff was willing to get my 85lb dog out of the car they had him in a room and talking with a vet technician within 5 minutes. They were loving, polite and caring people all of them, everything was explained to me in plain english and all of my questions answered. I am extremely pleased and have changed them to my vet even though they are 30 miles away

I moved to Virginia 5 years ago and had not ever found a vet since moving up that I loved EVERYONE. I mean from the front office people to every Vet that my pets have seen there, they have all been truly wonderful. Down-to-earth, practical, reasonable, and caring...always always with helpful ideas for any problem. I really wish we could take them with us when we move! They are exactly what I look for in a vet and it seems I tend to favor the country veterinarians, because in NC, I always went to Dr. Mark Hansen, out in the country too (Spring Creek Veterinary, I think it was called, close to Goldsboro/Kinston NC), who was great!

I took my dog to see Dr. Evy Pradl in late october 2019 over a joint injury. He was diagnosed through x-rays and examination that he has a chronic condition called degenerative joint disease. A condition that has no hope of getting better as it is a chronic diagnosis.I was provided with initial dosage of pills and then Dr. Evy issued me a HAND written list of anti-inflammatories and dosages for me to order when the initial pills ran out. She told me that he would have to be on this medication the rest of his life due to his diagnosis. She did not tell me a follow visit was mandatory (she said it was optional if I thought he wasn't improving) and we had a whole discussion about how I would be shopping online for the best option from the list she provided me.Fast forward to now, around 4 months later, I placed an order for his medicine. Dr. Evy has refused to approve the prescription that SHE PERSONALLY HAND WROTE I should order for my dog without paying for an addition office visit examination. I explained to her that she had already diagnosed him with a chronic condition and I had already paid for this diagnosis. I also reminded her she told me he would require this medicine for his entire life. She still insisted I must come in. So I asked her if she would do the visit for free because I could not afford to pay for this again. She told me she would not.It's very clear to me she is not interested in the well being of my animal and is only trying to make money for her practice. There is no reason for her to re-diagnose a chronic condition she has already diagnosed.So now my dog is having to suffer in pain until i cant get the time and money to take him to another vet to get this prescription approved.Absolutely disgusting.

Our girl, Princess, has been seeing Dr. Kinkead since the day we brought her home. He is the only doctor I trust with her life. As a dog mom who frequently overreacts to any number of issues I see going on with my little girl, I have called and left a message with Dr. Kinkead on many occasions and he has called me back and really took the time to assuage my concerns and give me advice on the best things I can do for my pet's wellbeing. That is priceless to me.
