Stopped in to get lunch today as we were out on our bicycles at lunchtime. We hadn’t been there in quite awhile but were pleasantly surprised by the hot Italian sub, homemade broccoli salad and seafood salad. Every thing was so fresh! Perfect day to sit at their picnic table outside. We will be back!

Friendly folks and great breakfast sandwiches! The deli is legit. The store has such a good selection of grocery items (even meat, beer, and wine) it can save you a lot of trips to a larger store.

Since it's been under new ownership, it's gotten much better, even though there was little wrong with it before. Great selection of things to choose from but where they surpass almost everywhere else is there food. Their food is great! Even more when Johnny is cooking. The dude is an absolute beast back there. His hamburgers are the best on the Northern Neck by far. Blows Northern Neck Burger away and for much less money. All day every day.

Went there order a large shrimp and fries with hush puppies. Food wasn't even warm and burnt some fries was soggy and also not fresh. Also it took a long time to get my order.Smh

Ellen's her name describes it all. ( Country Store) What you want she got it, what you need she got it and what you looking for she has it or she will find it and put it there according to her wonderful worker. I, just spoke to Ellen myself today for the first time. Modest and will to speak as if she knew you!☺ We had a short conversation. It made me want to return and I hope she's there. I'm loving it.I do check labels for dates.They were up to date. What l saw. I spoke about her store to another person today. The person said they have great food (Anxiously) Ellen I am glad to have met.
