We enjoyed going here years ago but quit when the atmosphere turned overly political. All that has changed. Everything has been cleaned up and the atmosphere is welcoming. Best of all the food was excellent! We had the crabcake and the jr cheeseburger. Crabcake was huge and well-prepared. Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions was tasty. Beef for the burger comes from a local butcher. Noticed that bacon was being cooked fresh on the grill so none of that precooked stuff. Our server was attentive and prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Although it took a while for our food to arrive once it did it was worth the wait! Our friends got the crab cake and it was huge! Very little filler mostly all crabmeat. The steamed shrimp were delicious as was the B.L.T I ordered. My friend ordered a cheeseburger and there must have been a pound of beef on the bun. All food was homemade and cooked to perfection. There is a bar that serves beer on site where it seems the locals gather and shoot the breeze. Also they like to keep the juke box singing with lots of country music. If beer drinking, country music and gossiping locals aren't your scene then the Corners not for you!

The owner and his family are the main draw in this local landmark. The food is really good and the menu has been homed to perfection over the past dozen years. Main motifs are sports and being Irish. Locals love the place and enjoy the front porch for eating, drinks and hanging out.

True hole in the wall bar and grill in a one stop light town. Creaky wood floors, peeling paint, knick knacks on the shelves, this place has character.Food is a home run... why? Because they take everything an extra step. Example: grilled chicken at every other joint- rubbery frozen chicken breast on boring bun, soft lettuce, mushy tomato. Here: grilled pulled chicken, virginia ham, cheese, spicy mustard/ mayo on a buttered grilled Texas toast... bang ... now that's a party in your mouth. Try the other sandwich concoctions... every one is a winner. Nice, honest folks that work here. You won't be disappointed.Instead of spending your hard earned lunch money at some chain restaurant joint... come spend it at a legit mom and pop establishment.Side note: they're so honest, the name is even legit.... it is actually on the Corner.

Most unbelievable burger I've ever had. Connor the owner took the time to sit and chat with us. Made us feel like locals immediate. Anthony makes the food and is amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Great down-to-earth place. Anthony makes great food and Connor cares about all customers. The waitress is sweet and great with kids. Burgers taste just like the carnival. Best chicken tenders on earth. I also recommend the Morris Jr.

A nice leisurely lunch after a full morning at Belle Isle State Park. The restaurant has a lot of character and the food was very good. The Sailor sandwich and the Fish and Chips were excellent.

Awesome service. Local feel and a good variety of menu choices. The shrimp dinner had a lot of shrimp in it. The chili slaw dogs are awesome. Great place to meet friends.

Quiet atmosphere, friendly employees, but the food was 👎. I went in after being recommended by a few friends, who raved about the fries and onion rings, and was thoroughly disappointed. Food came out well overdone. Fries were dry on the inside and hard, onion rings tasted like they had been recooked. Would not recommend unless you're in the area and have no other options.

Not at all impressed with the food or service. The restaurant is tiny, and run down. The building looks like its literally falling apart. The food is no more than average. The younger cook doesnt have any kind of gloves or hair net which freaks me out because hes extremely hairy. The only appeal I liked was being able to drink outside by the roadway. Not my top choice by far.

Best cheeseburger in the Commonwealth. Very old, worn-to-an-old-shoe's-comfort kind of place. It will take as long for them to cook your burger as it would for you to do it at home, so be patient. It'll be worth it, guaranteed.

The service is always first rate and the food is excellent. I especially like their burgers, sailors and crab cakes. Their porch is a great place to hang out with friends and your dogs.

Visited today for lunch for the first time. We shared an order of Pig Newton's and they were amazing. Smoked pork tenderloin on a buttermilk biscuit with your choice of BBQ sauce. We shall return soon.

The corner is a great, local establishment. With an outside bar area an indoor seating area, it's totally old school! The prices are amazingly low, and the food is to die for. There are other places to eat in the area but none of them compare to the Corner Bar and Grill!
