Tis the season for propane. I deal with Steve at Tractor Supply in South Hill, VA. You would never know how cold it is in the early mornings when I go there. Steve always has a smile on his face and a personality to match. He makes my day every time I go there. The other employees are amazing as well. Courteous and helpful and now I wish I had their names also. I highly recommend this Tractor Supply.

Friendly young gentleman there, went to purchase a self propel cable and he was willing to engage in casual conversation about the products they sold. It's always nice to have a little chitchat, you may very well learn something different/new.Four star rating simply because of that young man's kindness/customer service.

Tractor Supply is blessed to have Gina. She is pleasant and old school helpful. She works hard, but makes it look effortless. She has helped me so many times and every encounter was spot on.

Always love walking in this store. My kids and I enjoy seeing the baby chicks and ducks when they are there. I personally am into the home decor they offer. I usually get it on sale, but it adds so much to my rustic farm style decor! Cashiers are always friendly as well.

Friendly staff, very reasonable prices and a great variety of quality products to choose from. Also very happy with my chicks I bought there in the spring, they're about 6 months old, and are very healthy, beautiful golden comets. Only disappointment is that they no longer seem to stock the 50lb bags of Alpo dog food, although I also can't find that size at Walmart either anymore so it may not be solely a tractor supply company issue. Food lion carries that size but it's about $5 - $6 more expensive.

Friendly service...but I visited twice and the product I wanted on two separate visits was not on the self. I had to ask someone to retreive it for me from the back room. They happily did and brought it to my car. The only reason for the 4 instead for 5 stars was the stocking issue. Other than that keep up the good work.

Love me some tractor supply. Cashiers always friendly and quick...whenever you see someone in the store they ask if you need assistance....and the product I am looki g for is usually in stock and if not there in a couple days.

I am new to the area. I stopped into South Hill, VA store, to purchase PPE gear for my Team. Two weeks later, when I was doing my expense report, I misplaced the receipt. Store Manager Regina Hall, with limited info, took time out of her day (at closing time) to go through her POS system to locate and print out the receipt for me. I offered her a $20 tip, and she refused to accept it. Customer Service like that is unheard of in today's retail world. Bravo, Ms. Hall, thank you very much for all your help!

Online store inventory does not match store inventory. Store will have certain name brands of products and then randomly quit carrying but still show that it's carrying that brand of product on online store inventory. In-store inventory is often lacking as well

The south hill va, youngsville, nc, is fine the LOUISBURG, NC location is the WORST they always out of EVERYTHING you looking for and have been for MONTHS the manager is a woman i cant recall her name but she is the BIGGEST LIAR. She was supposed to get several items back in stock and still have not. LOUISBURG TRACTOR SUPPLY is 10 minutes from my house but i have to drive 50 minutes to the SOUTH HILL location in a DIFFERENT STATE just to get what i need. SMH
