I bought two Shark ADV 600 filters from KGTropicals and they work ok but Ive been having issues with the suction cups on both of them. I tried to just pull the bottom piece out to clean it and the whole thing came off the wall of my tank and now I cant get it to suction back on to the tank. Only one or two will stay stuck and the others release within seconds when I try to stick it on there. Is there a reason for that? I have cleaned them and tried just about everything to no avail. Any advice would be great

Very quick responses and great prices. The packing was very secure. I ordered 6 one inch fry and they threw in an extra 3. All of them are alive and well. They are beautiful little babies. I would recommend KgTropicals to anyone who wants the best quality fish. They have an amazing YouTube channel where you can learn how to properly care for your new fish.

I haven't had the pleasure of doing actual business with these people, however- I have received the help and support of their knowledge. Lisa has extensive knowledge of female betta husbandry and sends a good message about fishkeeping to people. If you can't take care of it, leave it at the store. I have had less contact with John, but he is equally informative on species and I admire his knowledge of equipment, and principles surrounding the common pleco (even though he has one in his fish room right now somewhere)- both are knowledgeable. If you haven't you need to see the youtube channel KGTropicals, and/or join the group on facebook Tank Talk. I recommend it, I really do.

In order to save a few pennies on shipping, John packed fish in very small bags with not enough water. The largest (and most expensive) fish didn't survive. When trying to work-out a replacement for the DOA, John tried to gouge me on the shipping cost claiming that it was the new rate listed on their site. I finally had to contest the charge with credit card company in order to get reimbursed for negligently packed fish. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend to anybody.

Ordered 6 fish and all arrived in good order disease free. Granted like any animal shipped they were a bit stressed but all are alive after 4 weeks (2.20.14)All shipping overnight sites bite the bullet on shipping costs so water and amount of water is minimal, if your fish dies on delivery you either pay for shipping of a replacement or take the loss. Any negative reviews of that issue please disregard. example: If something arrives at your house broken they will send you another free of charge + shipping. its the way of things.Remember that before you order.Husband and wife team, quality fish + youtube channel, experienced with the fish industry.

Maybe I'm just an ignorant web user, but whenI went on your website to check out fish, it gave alternative websites not yours. I don't understand why this has to be a big hassle just to look at your fish. Is your website down, or am I just clueless?

I should have checked the reviews before I drove 70 miles to their store location to find out they were no longer at that location. It turns out they have permanently closed their store and for some reason and have not updated their Google account to reflect the closure.
