Very Rude I bought a pair of readers left store came back 15 min later the nose piece was missing I didn't get a receipt . Went back to the same guy he said can't help u with out a receipt. I said I was just in here he wouldn't do and exchange instead charged me for another pair very Rude Customer service. Dirt very dirty store no class

I shop frequently at my local Family Dollar store and until today, would have said that the staff is friendly, helpful, pleasant. My sole purchase today was a 1/2 gallon container of laundry detergent. When at the checkout counter, I politely told the clerk that I would leave the bag with her as I was trying to use as little plastic as possible, my practice for many years now. At my comment, the clerk made a quiet scoffing noise and pointing to my purchase, said "Well you might as well leave THAT here, too!" She was not smiling, as I had been right up until that moment. I found her attitude provocative and unnecessary, and should she be working the next time I enter the store, I will simply turn around and take my business elsewhere.

My family and I frequent this store and we’ve never had a problem with it. However, we recently visited the store and upon our immediate arrival, we were upset to learn that we were being followed. The store associate didn’t even allow us to be in the store for five minutes before he felt it necessary to “check” what we were up to. At first we thought the multiple run ins to be a coincidence, but we were proved otherwise when we continued to be followed all the way up to our walking to the register to pay. Though we came in together, we all had separate transactions. I began putting my items on the counter and the associate put them in the system and eventually, due to the considerable amount of items I had picked up, he had run out of places to put my bags. In an attempt to alleviate some of the space, I started to put some of the bags in the cart, but before I could even fully take the bag, the associate snatched it from my hands and placed it in a nearby cart that was under his supervision. He followed that by saying “you’ll get this when you pay” as if to insinuate anything but. Any other time we come to this establishment we don’t have this problem. We are always polite and we always pay. To have your bags literally snatched away from you out of fear that “you might not pay” is the epitome of embarrassing however, the associate continued to do this until all of the bags were in his possession. When this was done, he told me my total and I paid. However instead of handing me the items that I had now paid for, he said “ok who’s next”. After seeing that he wasn’t going to give me the items the way I had given them to him, I walked around to the nearby cart and got them myself. At this point I’m upset because I have given this association no reason to be as disrespectful as he was. I leave the store to place my bags in the car and return to see that he isn’t being any more respectful to my family. My little sisters were also at this establishment and they each had an individual transaction. He held their bags in his possession, the same way he had mine. In no way can this be rationalized! The first sister gave him her things AND paid but he held her bags until the second sister was finished with her transaction even after we deliberately told him they were separate transactions. My family did nothing to warrant this type of behavior and all we could do was be shocked that this individual was actually treating us this way. However, we didn’t leave without getting the associate’s name. Whatever day he might have been having it is never okay for people like Joseph to treat others as he did. Overall it was the most disgusting and disrespectful interaction we have had at this establishment and as long as he continues to behave in this manner we do not feel comfortable returning.

They close up shop constantly during store hours for who knows what and they haven't had a frozen section in months. Go elsewhere if possible

Convenient for stopping to get milk or other small things. Don't ask to use their bathroom, they won't let you! Even if you have a four year old who's about to have an accident 😡

Great store has just about everything you need at low cost. Sales clerks always helpful and ask if you found what you were looking for. Store is clean .

Why get mad at me for getting cash back if the Machine give me the option for it? Put a bigger sign up next time or take the option of the pen pad not rocket Science

Since the older manager left customer service has been horrible! Memorial day its 3 people working in the store. Line wrapped around the store and the other 2 people left Dolly at the register by herself while they talked in the back of the store! Get your store together

They do not honor their sale prices. They will charge you full price. They will not honor their posted sales afterward. Took everything back.
