This place has everything you need, I am so glad they are here in our area. Close by, has saved me so many trips to Fredericksburg, really convenient. Solid hard-working staff, always hovering nearby in case you have questions. I recommend doing some 3 or 4 hour home improvement labs so folks are encouraged to do things themselves. I think folks would do that; landscaping, tree planting, painting, staining, stripping old furniture, asphalt repair. Product demonstration, engage the community. We needed canning supplies for this week, we got what we needed at Ace Hardware. Thanks so much

Most expensive place to purchase hardware. Much of the stuff is made in China junk. Beware bolts, screws, are low quality steel and will break, or the screw heads will strip and be worthless. If you can find made in the USA you'll pay through the nose for it. Rankings used to be a fair place to go for goods but that past several years, not so much. In an emergency it will do. I'm surprised it's still in business.

The store transition to Ace has been an adjustment but overall it looks great. Most importantly it still has the small town atmosphere and friendly service. My flower beds look great with the new mulch I bought. Great job to all the employees who make that happen everyday! Here's to new beginnings and much success! Thank you.

They are not as cheap as Lowes or Home Depot, but when you need something, it is not a road trip to go to the discount hardware stores

I had the BEST experience at Ace Hardware! I bought a Weber grill online for my Husband’s birthday. These guys , Ryan, Sean and Joe made sure that it was delivered and set up on his Birthday ! ( originally it was supposed to be delivered the day after.) They answered all of my concerns and made sure that I was completely satisfied. I can’t Thank You enough for your help! I’d give more than 5 stars. Always helpful, always my town Ace Hardware store!

Everything you need along with fantastically helpful employees. Every Ace Hardware store has so many things crammed into every store that it's mind boggling.. another secret about this place. Giving 4 stars based on two things; prices are generally 5-20% over big box stores like HD and Lowes and selection can be fairly limited. Prices probably come down to the fact that they are the only store within 30 minutes that carries a lot of hardware items.I have always experienced good customer service here.

I have no problem supporting local business, I'd rather it most cases. My problem here is that if I need 5 items for a project and they have 3 then I've wasted my time when I could have just gone to Lowes. The place was significantly better when it was Rankin in my opinion. More local small business feel, too corporate now. They also have some 3rd party company rep in there selling something, not sure what it is because I either tell him I'm not interested before they can ask or run in the opposite direction as soon as I walk in. I'm sure it's probably something I didn't go there for and never knew I needed.

I saw a little boy with his father who needed to use a bathroom and he was told they were out of order. About a month later I was picking up some items and I needed to use the ladies' room and was told they were out of order. I questioned this and was told the 7-11 across the road had bathrooms. I asked why it was taking so long to fix the bathroom and was told Corporate was holding it up but when they were fixed, they would not be open to the public because Pizza Bono sent people over to use the bathrooms. So, Costello's customers have to suffer because others come in to use the bathroom? Shame on you. Why should I have to stop shopping and go over to 7-11 to use their bathroom? Aren't you doing the same thing that you are accusing Pizza Bono of doing. What happened to your customer service?? So SAD

Head to tractor supply. Literally down the road.Really don't have a lot and what they do have is quite overpriced. So i did a little test. For 18 tapcons. Ace was $1.64 more expensive. That was just for some screws.

I work in a home improvement store, so I hold some high standards when I visit other like stores. This was my first visit to my local Ace. I found what I needed easily and thought the store was layed out well and clean. Based off my training from my store I had written the item numbers down for the nuts, bolts and washers. However the cashier ringing me up was a little rude regarding this, stating she needed the prices and sent me back to get them. No big deal, we all have bad days and I wasn't going to steam over it since I saved my self over an hour driving to the bigger boxier stores. I'll be returning should I run short on hardware in the middle of a project again 😆

Great hometown hardware store. Staff goes out of their way to help customers and make sure you get the right things you need. They don't carry as much as the big box stores but the service is so much more personal and they actually know what they're talking about.

I went to go exchange some plumbing parts I was just at the store all of ten minutes ago and they Wouldn't exchange him. Now I know I've exchanged plumbing parts before without a receipt. It was the cashier had an additude with me. Even had another excuse. She said it's been open. What the hell did I do to u is all I could think. Train all of your employees.

So 2 different times I went in and got something to buy .The first time was a roll of wire .They said it was in the wrong spot even tho there was no other spots available to put it in. And with that being said it was $69 more than the posted price.Then today I go in to get a outdoor receptacle and the was all stacked up .They was $3.99So I wanted 2.When I come to find out they are $18.99And wouldn't honor the $3.99So looks like you just gotta watch the price and make sure. That's wrong and totally false advertising.They shoulda honored the price. Won't shop there again.

Did not have what I needed. Service was not the best. They are in the process of changing names and everyone seemed to be preoccupied by this. Changing tags and doing inventory. Will give them one more try.
