I will no longer be shopping at the Food Lion in Keysville.Three times I have called to pick up my order and was told by the automated voice that nobody was available to take my call.. after one ring.Several times I have waited twenty minutes or more in a hot vehicle with as many as five children - one of them a newborn - for my pick up order. One of those times I was literally told that they forgot I was out there.My partner spoke to the assistant manager there who shrugged and basically said it's not his problem.He called the corporate office, who basically shrugged and also said it's not their problem.If you want to shop at a store that cares about their customers, you may consider avoiding Keysville Food Lion. They seem to feel that since they are the only grocery store in Charlotte County they can treat their customers however they want. I for one will be doing the bulk of my shopping at Walmart from now on. Walmart's produce section has massively improved and their food is cheaper anyway.

I like this store in particular, it is always clean, the produce is well stocked and maintained, the staff are friendly and the young girl on the checkout today was super fast! She made my hectic day a lot better by being very efficient, thank you.

Pretty nice store. Always neat. Most employees are very pleasant. They must have good management because the cashiers act mature. No one is on their phone, or having personal conversations across registers. They look pulled together. They even have organic strawberries and other organic fruits and vegetables!

This is 1 of the best food lions I have ever been in. It is always clean and we'll stocked, the employees are friendly and helpful. You see the manager out on the floor often, talking with people. They look out for people with disabilities, they will help take your groceries out or get stuff off shelves all you have to do is ask. Meat and deli are comparable to other chains in the area, specials are great. Overall a great shopping experience!

The produce section is beautiful...the store is organized but the floor cleaning at night with strong chemicals is a bit much. I guess i should not go at night. I spoke to the night manager who just brushed me off. Anyway the cashiers are so friendly and other than the floor cleaning chemicals and dust from the industrial machine that gave me headache and i swear chased me around the store...🙄 it was a great visit.

Some days good service. Staff getting less caring. Stocking happens alot during busy time of day. They make no effort to get out of the way of the shoppers so they can purchase their goods. Shame only grocery store near.

Need to do better at keeping stock up. I do understand you only get so much per truck, but place orders ahead of time. If they want to make money you must have stock on shelf, not empty shelves!

I was on vacation and ordered To Go from the local Food Lion. A lovely girl (short hair) helped me with my groceries on a very hot day. She was so sweet and friendly. She told me her name was Alyssa and was so kind, she made my day.

I'd give 5 stars if the front people were nicer. And certain one in deli.. Some I really enjoy but anyone in leadership roles in front, are very high school like on how they treat a customer, and I shop there weekly... That's sad I notice.

Everytime I go to Food Lion I see Emma and she always scans the groceries so quickly that her register is always open!😃😄 She is a great face of Food Lion.Not to mention her unconditional kindness and courtesy towards my brother and I when we are grabbing a few snacks😂.

So we moved to the area just over a year ago. I have a severe alpha gal so I can't have any red meats. Every time we got a big pack of ground turkey meet it would be spoiled. My wife has paid for topdollar steaks just to get home and find that they are spoiled. You have to double check the dates on everything, because they are horrible at rotating their products like they should. I have made the same complaint several times and nothing is ever done about it. We have six kids and spend around a grand a month at the grocery store. Since no one cares to do their jobs here, I have started driving an extra 30 mins to go to Walmart in Farmville. This place is a waste of time.

Typical local Food Lion grocery store. Great sales prices on lunch meat and other basic groceries. Not the best place to buy in bulk but when sales/MVP specials are active it's a great bargain to stock up on certain items. Just don't forget your MVP card as it goes a long way in savings!

Amazing quality of service. Met a really nice guy named Nick. He's the nicest guy who works there and is willing to help anyone with anything they need. Definitely a star player in the team.

Usually its a good experience especially when i come in at night. But tonight the other girl that was working the front end (not the cashier) thought it was more important to talk to her friends then it was to do her job. The phone was ringing constantly and the cashier had an enormous line!

This place price gouges. Paid $2.89 for a box of propel that at Walmart (farmville less than 20mi away) is $1.98. I refuse to waste time to pull up local prices so that food lion can "price match" I went out of convenience as its on my way home but the differences in cost was usually more than a dollar for less.

They just renovated the entire store.. It's clean and stocked great.. There is no competition for them it's the only grocery store in the county.. But they don't give you any less than the ones in big cities where they have to compete..

The customer service that BRADLEY gave to us today was absolutely unprofessional and all around RUDE. If you hate your job THAT much just quit, BRADLEY. A little common courtesy and respect goes a long way in this world.. a simple smile or even ACKNOWLEDGEMENT sometimes makes a person's day. Food Lion has great sales every week (sometimes even better than Walmart) and has come up with unique ways to help you save money. Shop and Earn is one of the great reward programs that is offered at Food Lion that I have used along with their MVP discounts to really help me save money.

The new food lion app has saved me a ton on groceries. Spend a certain amount in different categories during the month and get a savings loaded directly on your card. Sometimes I have 20 or more dollars to use and save on my visits. Free groceries...oh yeahhh!!!!

I went to food Lion today about 8 tonight I was standing in the line with 12 items or less sign lit up I waited a few minutes for an employee to come help me nobody came so I stood there another 5 minutes waiting thinking that somebody was going to come so I hollered across and ask the man if anybody was working there he said no he left the light on when he moved over there was a manager to win customer service and she said nothing she was there the whole time I was standing there with two teenagers talking 4 baskets behind me got in line and we all had to move because the boy forgot to turn off the light so of course I got at the back of the line behind all of the baskets with just two things in my hand I couldn't do it I set them on the counter and left out not a good day

I guess this store is fine for first time shoppers. I don't care for it much since they remodeled. I can't find anything and they no longer carry some of my favorite products.
