We live here in Central Virginia and are brand new to owning Nigerian dwarf goats. Ashley has been so so helpful in walking us through the process and educating us on how to take good care of our new babies. We needed friendly goats for use in our therapy program and we couldn’t be happier. These two babies are the absolute sweetest and everyone who meets them loves them. They are attached to my daughter and follow her EVERYWHERE.

Ashley was an excellent communicator. I appreciated the care throughout the breeding process. She kept me up to date with the babies when they were born. Kept me on track with updates as they grew and let me come see them before picking one out. My angel is the sweetest thing to me. Ashley and her daughter did amazing getting her ready for me. She is healthy and happy. I highly recommend Ashley and Purple Ribbon Homestead if you are looking for a Velveteen lop. They are the sweetest breed you could get.

I just finished my seasonal herd share with Ashley at Purple Ribbon Homestead and I am already looking forward to when shares open back up! I have very much enjoyed the milk we have been getting, as has my family. Before we even signed up, Ashley was very kind to show us her herd and set up and even let us observe her milking routine. She is extremely knowledgeable, a wealth of information when it comes to various livestock, not just goats. Thank you for everything Ashley! Looking forward to being patrons again soon :)

We purchased some Velveteen Lop Rabbits from Purple Ribbon Homestead and they are the absolute sweetest kits ever. I met Ashley and she was nothing but polite, helpful, and sweet. She even worked around the schedule she had already had to meet me in Dublin Virginia so I could get my babies. Purple Ribbon Homestead and Virginia in general has shown me that there is still good people in the world. I highly recommend Purple Ribbon and will definitely be doing more business with them in the near future.
