The staff is amazing, caring, compassionate and informative. Our Kola had to be euthanized a couple weeks ago. The staff was so supportive during Kola's transition. Saturday we received a lovely sympathy card from Dr. Alicia and the staff. Included with the card was a heart shaped plant card. My grandson and I planted it Sunday morning. I highly recommend this care team for your pet.

My puppy needed stiches on her leg and every other vet we called wanted way to much money, Ivor took her in and fixed her leg the same day. They are awesome and I'm willing to take my other pets there anytime. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

As always, we received the best care at Ivor Veterinary Clinic. Our pup was sick, and they worked us in, and we still didn't have to wait very long. She was taken very good care of by the team, and we were on our way with meds to get her on the road to recovery. A few days later and she's back to her normal self! (They even called to check on her!) Highly recommend this veterinary clinic!

Ivor Vet has a beautiful location with friendly staff and clean rooms. They always are able to get me in quickly and have wonderful information about the health of my pets as well as great reminders for upcoming appointments and healthcare information for my pets. The staff is very knowledgeable and the prices are very good. I would definitely recommend this veterinary clinic to anybody looking for that service

My pup is…less than ideal…when it comes to vet visits. They were extremely patient and never cornered him to draw blood or give vaccines. She gave many references to behavioral assistance as well as medical assistance for my dog’s anxiety. 110% would recommend to anyone!!!

What a wonderful vet. They're practical and don't call for multitudes of unnecessary tests and procedures like other clinics do. They're also low cost, which is perfect for us. They'll do only what is necessary and won't burden their patients and you with anything unnecessary or costly. Well worth the drive to Ivor for their vet clinic!

Great care and excellent rates. Clean office. Sweet techs and docs. We unfortunately needed to leave to go to another office when my labradoodle/ service dog had surgery and the incisions opened again after sutures were removed. Doc refused to staple the sites back together or investigate why it wasn't healing as it should. He can't work if he had open wounds and risk infection. We went for a second opinion and that doc said that yes, it would eventually heal but it would take months. She found a braided tail of a subcutaneous stitch that should have been clipped. She said that it could wick bacteria into the wound. It has now been cleaned up and stapled together by our new doc at our additional expense but at least we have sped up the healing and its safe for him to work for me again. I'm sad to leave Ivor but allowing him to have open oozing, bleeding incisions that would take a long time to heal and risk him reopening and infection has left us uncertain about the quality of care and compassion we were receiving.

This was my first time taking my pug Bane to this veterinary clinic. I guess the person who came in was supposed to be the vet but she never introduced herself and hardly said anything except yeah he’s been itching you need to also treat his surroundings. We already knew that she hardly looked him over even though we told her he had lost a lot of weight. I asked about 5 times to have his nails clipped as one will grow into his pad and they just ignored that and said they didn’t have enough staff to clip his nails. I’ve never been to a vet and been turned away without a nail trim. They sure had enough time to charge me 256.00 that included an office visit charge. We will never return to ivor vet. the name on the flea prevention box says Prescriber Alicia Gerald maybe that was the vet? We will definitely drive a little farther and go back to his regular vet in Franklin, going here was a BIG MISTAKE!!! And now I have to take him somewhere to have a nail trim.

I liked Dr. Harver. She was decent, but the other doctor angered my husband by asking questions about why we wanted to put our dog down. Almost like she was accusing him of just wanting to put her down without justification. She was old, struggling to get around (leg stopped working one day), and did not have a quality of life anymore at almost 13 years old. Because of this, we made the hard decision to euthanize her. The people they use to make the cremation boxes did not put a name plaque on her box. The ink prints of her nose and paws were not done well, and with our first dog they forgot to give us another box that we purchased. Considering the service is not cheap at all, I expected better results. The facility asked for my information from the previous clinic for my pets when I was switching over to Ivor and I gave them all the info they needed to get records. However, when I showed up for my visit, I had been waiting in the room for approx. 30 minutes only to then find out that it was because they never got my pets records prior to my appt!! I was incredibly frustrated. Then, I was quoted one price for an OFA hip certificate for my dog, and when I left after the treatment they charged me significantly more. Then, they never made an effort to contact me to explain the results of that procedure/exam to me, but instead told me they didn’t have time to do that. When I expressed my surprise at this treatment, the “office manager” told me that they would not see me at their clinic anymore. Super unprofessional support staff, and HIGHLY undereducated/inexperienced technicians. I’d save my time and money and go anywhere else!

We’ve been taking our cats and dog here for 3 years now and we absolutely love it. Prices are very reasonable, staff is caring and kind, and the vets are excellent. The clinic is always spotless. Several of our pets have special medical concerns and we are so fortunate to have such a thorough and helpful local clinic to bring them to!

What started as a normal week turned in to an unplanned/unexpected blessing.Following a routine appointment with one of my male fur babies, Dr. Harver-Ballinger quickly sorted through the information and had me bring in my female fur baby. We then learned our female was pregnant and carrying one very large kitten. With limited information and little time to plan, Dr Harver-Ballinger delivered this baby via C-section within the next 48 hours. Saving the lives of both momma and baby. The team is amazing, they truly take the time to learn about the pet and your priorities.I am beyond thankful for these amazing professionals that gave both Penny and her newborn baby a chance for survival. Without Dr. Harver-Ballinger and her amazing staff we would likely have lost them both.Thank you to Dr Harver-Ballinger, Alissa and the entire team at Ivor…. Y’all are amazing!!!!

My dog cut his foot pretty badly, and I was sure he needed stitches. They were able to see him last minute, (when no one else could take him.) the whole staff was lovely, and didn’t make us pay for stuff we did not need. Also the prices are super good. This will be our primary care vet from now on.

Brought my newly rescued German Shepherd Cede in to get a Pre-Spay examination & a checkup for heartworm treatment and flee & tick protection. I have to say Ivor took extremely good care of us. They were very welcoming, friendly, and answered all of my questions in regards to her treatment plan. I have nothing but positives to say about them and look forward to working with them in the future to get her the care my girl needs! Prices seemed extremely reasonable for top grade care. This dog is like my daughter and I would trust them to provide all the best care we can get for her irregardless of price but it definitely was a lot better to my mind than other places which were asking double or triple for the same services!!

We were referred to this place by a friend. They worked us in on what looked like a very busy day. Sure I saw an emergency go in on a stretcher when we pulled into the lot. Staff is very friendly and compassionate. They seemed just as sad about our negative diagnosis as we were. Dr. G took her time and answered all our questions, and helped us make the best decision for our sweet Poco. This is where you want to take your fur babies!

We've been going to Ivor for years! We used to go to another local vet but they'd muzzle my dog and she'd get so scared. At Ivor they realized she wasn't aggressive she was just being protective and they'd do the exam out of the room with no issues. We were sad to leave them when my husband got stationed in a different state but now that we moved back I didn't even bother with looking for other vets! I'll gladly drive an hour back to them because I love the way they treat my pet! And their new facility is beautiful!
