They have a little of everything and decent prices. The deli is good and employees are nice. Outside, they have plenty of pumps and non-ethanol fuel. It's the most convenient store for the Smith Mountain Lake State Park area and generally will have everything you need.

Whitehouse Corner Store is a Landmark at SML! Always a friendly face meeting you whether at the door, in the deli or a passing customer. One of the best run gas/convenience stores in the world! The deli makes the best sandwiches and meals at great price.(with a smile) The beer/wine selection is great and I also got some oil for the boat! 10 Stars!

This place deserves six stars. The beer choice is outstanding. Lots of really good IPAs to choose from. They’ve got a very solid grill and excellent coffee choices in the morning. Considering this place is in the middle of nowhere it is very well stocked with a wide variety much more so than your average convenience store. This is not a 24 hour location but they’re open early and late. The staff wasn’t overly friendly however I feel like that was in large part due to Covid and wearing masks and all the other garbage that comes with that.

I've been long time customer but it's been some time since I've ordered the pizza but my remembrance was it was really good for the price .......no more I bought two pizzas price $30 for two which outrageous, but when I got it home it wasnt fit feed to my dogs .....I don't know what's happened up in the deli but it was undercooked the crust was doughy & it had so much grease I it was sliding all over my hands !!!!

Great fried chicken. The pizza is excellent as well. This little store provides everything you need for vacation. The beer selection is off the hook! Fresh produce and quick easy family sized frozen dinners for the cook on vacation.White House Corner Store has been a valued member of the community for decades and the owner always invests in upgrades, asthetics and selection.Customer service has been extremely helpful to me and Trish is the best!Pride in ownership is not lost here!

They have a large array of last-minute needed items and produce for your home or picnic for the boat. They offer a made to order grill and snack shop with seating inside the store. The beer is cold and they have lots of ice for your cooler as well as gasoline. They are pretty much a well-rounded full service stop

My boyfriend stops here almost every morning for a biscuit! I also come here for snacks and drinks as well! Everyone is usually super nice and quick. They have a good selection of groceries and beer for camping(or in general). They have a decent amount of take away food at the grill. Plenty of parking.

I went there this morning for some snacks and ice for my boat trip today and the lady behind the counter completely ignored me. I stood there for about five minutes before she finally turned around and acknowledged me. Talking with your coworkers is fine but doing it and carrying on a conversation while ringing a customer up is not. She did not have any customer service skills what so ever and was incredibly rude. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Nice store with good selection but has to be the rudest staff ever. They all look so mad just to be there. I mean everyone of them. I speak to them and they don't even acknowledge you or speak back. It's a shame.

The only game in town... But they do have most everything. Fuel prices are the lowest in the area. The food is actually pretty good for what it is, especially the chicken salad and BLT's.The help is adequate, I've never had a problem with any of them and they do their jobs well.I've noticed some people complain about being ignored but when that happens to me I speak up. Problem solved.It can be incredibly busy in the summer weekends though...

I have been going to White House store for years and haven’t had really any notable issues. I buy a decent amount of fuel from them for our work trucks. But after today I hope I never have to deal with them again. It’s a shame that Bedford County doesn’t do a better job at having better amenities for the lake community. The staff was rude and unable to help with a simple issue. Customer service was a solid 0 out of 5 stars.

Store has great selection, prices fine (typical of convenience store), most of the staff great, but the food service staff—acted like it was a bother to have a customer. That’s too bad bc my husband left the store and went somewhere else this morning. (11/21/20 @ 9:30-ish)

Very nice store, near Smith Mountain Lake Campground. Needed eggs, and was pleasantly surprised at this busy but accessable store. It's well stocked, and the people are very friendly.

Maybe a good place, maybe not, but the hours haven’t been updated, so it was a wasted trip, as it closed at 8PM instead of the listed 9PM. From the outside, it seems like a well-stocked store and is aesthetically pleasing.EDIT: Review updated to 4 stars due to the hours being corrected. Worth going to check out, as it seemed to have a lot to offer, but just make sure it's open before you do.

My experiences here have been horrible, particularly with one cashier. I must ask what kind of place lets their cashier's walk away from a customer ready to check out so they can get on their phone. I don't know who Ms.attitude is but, I see her on her phone a lot.This isn't the first time, it's always the same rude, probably because she rather be on her phone than dealing with you, woman and she will get on her phone WHILE you are trying to pay for gas at the counter.Taking my business elsewhere for now.

I just needed ice this morning. This woman behind the counter was talking and carrying on with the other co workers and completely ignored me. There was no one in line and she was a complete jerk. I asked if I could get a bag of ice and she looked at me then kept talking to the other 2 women. After about 5 minutes I got tired of waiting and just left.

I find the employees there to be so rude. Everytime i go in there they never speak . Just grab your money and dont even tell you how much something is. This is bad business. Sometimes people need to be reminded that without us customers there is no business.
