The store has changed their hours to 6 PM closing on Sundays. It is not updated online. The manager had a smart butt answer and said, Do you trust everything you see online? I would guess since it is a legitimate business or you would think that they would keep their hours up-to-date for people to see. This is why I don’t go to pharmacy unless it is on the weekend…. And an absolute HAVE TO!

This CVS is the best one in the Wythe/Carroll area! There are many friendly faces here but one, in particular, stands out. There is a young lady by the name Skylar who works the window, and she is always on top of her job. Not only does she move cars through quickly, but she is always courteous and friendly, irregardless of how busy she is at the time. This type of service is extremely rare today! Thank you for employing people like Skylar! Please reward her for doing good in a day and age where most people simply coast through their shift just to get a paycheck!

I left my prescriptions at home before coming to hillsville for Christmas. The pharmacy staff went above and beyond to get my medications on Christmas eve. Quick and freindly!

Went today to pick up prescriptions and was told they were not ready. I called in the prescriptions the day before to be refilled and the automated system said they would be ready by 2 pm that day. Has happened on multiple occasions with them.

Been here for a handful of vaccines I scheduled online, and they said they don’t “do appointments” and were rude and dismissive. For my COVID vaccine, they filled out my car and then forgot I was even here, waited for half an hour only to deal with an angry pharmacist. Walgreens is only another 15 minutes away, I’ll be going there from now on. These folks are just too rude and disorganized.

Literally the worst pharmacy you could go to. I usually don’t name specific people but one really stuck out yesterday, her name was Holly and let me tell you she just didn’t know how to do her job. Coming from someone who has worked for cvs before, and I know how it works, she told me she can’t transfer prescriptions from one location to another, which is absolutely false. She just shouldn’t be working there in my opinion.

As I read other reviews I have noticed a lot of negativity, I personally have only been there once but autumn and a few other girls there went beyond my expectations to help me get my medicine filled. The mix-up was I had my prescription sent to Radford CVS and of course they was closed on a Thursday so I had my doctor resend the prescription to Hillsville, well the system wouldn't let me get my medicine because it was already processing at the Radford store so autumn that night went ahead and fixed it to where I could pay out of pocket for my medicine and all I had to do was come back in and get refunded once the Radford prescription was canceled. I went back to the store today and not only did they instantly give me my refund but they also replace what medication was missing from my prescription. Kudos to you guys, greatly appreciated and the staff was very friendly.

Rude, slow staff. The Pharmacist asks many questions about simple antibiotics and did not fill it as prescribed . I moved my prescriptions to the VA. Much better service and they fill your RX without stupid questions and filled it correctly, unlike CVS. My Doctor said the Pharmacist thinks he's a Doctor and they should never ask those kind of questions asked of me. The Pharmacy Tech turned away family that is a cancer patient for a covid vaccine saying it's to early and was very rude about it. The CDC guidelines say high risk patients should get a booster at 4 months. Her last shot at the time was 5 plus moths ago. Went to the health department who gave the vaccine no problem and advised to avoid CVS as they have been in the news for messing up vaccines.

I came by today around 2:58 PM and the drive thru was shutdown. I went around front and the parking lot was packed. I'm handicap and I unable to stand for any length of time. I know from before I was handicap that a full parking lot would mean that there would be a long wait. What I would like to know is, how is someone that is handicap and unable to stand for a long period of time supposed to pickup thier medicine that they need. The Drive Thru should always be open due to the elderly and the handicap people in our community.

This company is just absolutely they never have meds in stocks when you need them there prices are atrocious they never have anything filled in timely manner loses you prescription and medications #CVSFAILS will be moving my business elsewhere and if you have common sense you will to especially if you need your meds on time

My wife and I were traveling from PA by motorcycle and I needed a Rx. Unknowingly, I left my Rx card at the pharmacy. The store called me and said they would deliver it to our hotel as we were caught in a rainstorm. EXCELLENT customer service!!

Most of the cashier's have always been nice. The pharmacist that is currently working is so rude. I should never hear a rude comment from him when I'm doing my job. If you don't like your job quit.

Folks need to be patience with the Pharamcy. They provide meds, shots etc for the entire area. They are doing the best they can. I heard someone saying they are idiots as we waited for booster shots. Like anywhere we all have our favorite people working somewhere but give them a break.

This place is the worst place to get your prescriptions! I dropped off my antibiotic script & they had it on back order. I requested the script back to take elsewhere & they refused to give it to me! I came back the next day because all the other pharmacies gave up on transferring due to CVS not answering their phone. & they lost my full script. They had nothing on it! I will never take my business their again! Especially after all the stress they caused!

They are slow compared to other pharmacies which is understandable as they are always pretty busy every time I visit. I don't mind the wait at all, what I do mind is how rude the staff is, for absolutely no reason. I have dealt with snobby attitudes every single time I use this pharmacy

My family has been using CVS in Hillsville for YEARS with very little issues. Unfortunately the last two years everything has changed. The hold time when you call in is 10+ minutes, drive through wait time is over 30 minutes and it takes 2+ days to even get a prescription filled. My medicine was called in by the doctors office at 9am on 1/15/2020 and when I stopped to pick it up on 1/16/2020 at 8:30 pm I was told it was still processing. When I questioned why it was still in process after almost two full days I was told it could be expedited and picked up that night right before closing. I just don’t understand why I had to say something just to get my medicine filled. I have no idea what has happened with the processing at CVS but they are going to have to fix something or all of their long time customers are going to leave!

This store doesn't treat you like a customer..they all have that I'm better than you stuck up additude. The prices of the merchandise and drugs are way too expensive. It also takes forever for them to fill your prescriptions. The pharmacy folks all have a stuck up additude and they treat you like what are you doing here...they all seem to be messing around and are not very quick in filling the prescription. Just a couple of the cashiers are friendly and the rest have that uppity additude. They also have that automated phone system and it takes forever for them to answer the phone. Then when you try to order your medication the automated system kicks it out...they will not get anymore of my business as I have found another nice small local drug store who treats people right with the down home additude.

Recently moved back into this area my meds that usually cost me $50 at Publix cost $125 here even with goodrx, my last refill today generic cost $30 goodrx walmart had the same amount for $5 with goodrx. I also used their pharmacy card that promotes up 80% savings worth only $4. They may be different if you have insurance don't know but CVS is a national chain that should have huge buying power if i am going to give someone that much profit i am going to give it to a local business. They wont miss me anyway they were plenty busy.

I drop off my meds to be filled at 3pm and they said it would be an hour. We come after an hour was up and my med still wasnt ready. I seen people just standing there on their phone. There is only one lady checking people out. What the point of having two or more registers if you only EVER use one. Well got back in the car and went thru drivethur and set in line for about 40mins. Im sorry but this is bullsh**

Absolutely terrible pharmacy. They don’t care about their customers at all. They take DAYS to fill prescriptions and refuse to let you know why other than saying “we’re busy.” They hang up on their customers. Also, make sure you check your prescription in front of them. They’ll short you on pills.

Unprofessionals that actually steal your medication. I have never had a pharmacy "loose" as much medicine as this one has. I know something is up. Either these people are not fit to be pharmacists or are stealing medicine. They never answer their phone and they are rude. I am reporting this to corporate headquarters monday.

I have never waited less than an hour here. I go inside for them to tell me 15 mins. Why don’t they fill prescriptions of the ones waiting first? Idk where their issue is being overlooked, but it’s not that hard to have a productive order of operations. Please do better.

I'm transferring my Rx next time I see my Dr. Your pharmacy is worthless. How about hiring a staff that actually does their job instead of showing up for a paycheck!!I'm not driving more than 30 miles to pick up my Rx only to be told it hasn't been filled or not in stock. I always call first to verify.

You wait in line all day for a cashier to even assist you, then you get texts saying your prescriptions are ready and then wait around again for 30 mins for one prescription. Don't even get me started on their drive thru.

The Pharmacy is horrible. I have never filed a complaint before until now. I am moving my RX plan to Walgreens as I speak. My WORD, this place has got to go.
