This food lion is the best, the people here are nice and friendly and it’s always very clean. It’s a little on the smaller side but it’s got all the groceries you could need.

The gentleman (Gerardo) working behind the deli counter I’ve noticed the last few times coming into this store is very helpful and hard working the bakery deli area looks very well organized and clean since he’s been there I hope you guys hold on to him it’s hard to find quality people.

This is the worst store ever in Herndon. The store was not busy. I couldn’t find anyone to help me with Western Union. Plus the cashier that told me he would get someone never did I was standing there for 5 minutes. I could understand if the store was busy with a lot of shoppers but that was not the case at all.

My Food Lion in Chantilly Va reminds me of how grocery stores were when growing up. Simple & didn't have to walk a mile to find something. More variety of foods not found in Super Stores! Never crowded, room to move around. Staff very personable & not strung out due to time constraints & deadlines.

Pro: CheapCon: Bad selection, food bags in aisles are sometimes openDegrading: I got a distressing phone call while I was unloading onto the belt. I was trying to handle that while also trying to talk to the cashier. It is hard to do both at once, but there was no one else in line (ironically, I had to wait a bit for the person before me to buy two watermelons, but me holding up the no one in line behind me was a sin) The cashier starts snipping at me, which stresses me out. I end up yelling at my husband on the other end of the phone, clearly stating his name. She then thinks I am yelling at her. She yells at me and threatens to kick me out of the store, loudly, so the few people in the store have taken notice. It was a degrading experience and completely unnecessary had this cashier noticed the initial stress I was clearly under. Instead, she made it worse and dehumanized me in the process.I don't expect much from a discount grocery store, but I would expect common decency from the staff. I also expect cleanliness, which this store is also desperately lacking.

Unfortunately a steady miss when it comes to quality produce. Although they do have a small section of locally sourced products that has a redeeming quality. This Food Lion in general has great weekly sales and a very friendly staff.

I have a vending machine business and go here to buy sodas primarily. They have a pretty good selection and more reasonable prices than most grocery stores in the area. I usually keep an eye out for sales, and the management team recognizes me as a business customer and is very helpful.

Prices and place is awesome and very nice. I give it two stars because the manager is very rude to her own staff. I believe managers should always encourage and respect their employees. Not beat them when they make a mistake, which is bad for business. She is from Asian descent, and I love my foreign brothers and sisters, but it is unsightly. Please someone address the situation as soon as possible. Your employees are suffering.

I love this place and the employees!! I have been shopping here for years!! I know most employees by name!! Josh, Elizabeth, and Melvin are some of our favorite people here!! The remodel is great, but what happened to the bathrooms?!!! The stalls shrunk!!! Otherwise, fantastic place!!

Love this Food Lion! Clean, organized and rarely crowded. I don't see any empty shelves - always well stocked. I'm not trying to walk around pallets on the floor because of restocking - aisles are not blocked. This is store is a grocery shoppers dream!

Very Friendly staff. I mostly buy fruits. The fruits priced average quite expensive compared to the nearby Korean store. But quality here is very good. (That counts on the price). But hospitality in this store is good compared to other chain of stores I went so far. Energetic greeting by staff makes it better for you to forget the flaws of the store. Maybe other stores should follow this. Because customers are the boss without them no business, no money and no job- pretty simple.

I like this store because it's small and easy to run in and out and get stuff. I have been coming here for a very long time and the people who work here are very nice. It is the most convenient grocery store that I know of. However they are a little short on some things like produce selection. If you need something fast and or you need to buy a lot of groceries this is a great store to go to.

Old lady claimed my driver's license was fake. Had my passport and they refused that too. Did not ask anyone else in the line before or after for ID. Old scenile lady should get fired as well as the manager. Racist management that doesn't except IDs for black people. Please avoid this store.

This is a top Food Lion. Now that re-model is complete this store is my go to store for everything. Always clean and organized. On busy days they are constantly watching to get you checked out as quickly as possible.
