I had a mixed experience at Dollar Tree. While they offer incredibly low prices, the quality of some items can be questionable. The store can be messy and disorganized at times, making it hard to find what you're looking for. Additionally, the checkout process can be slow due to limited staffing. Overall, it's an affordable option, but be prepared for some drawbacks.

My girl lives on Elden Street, less than 5 minutes away from this dollar Tree. I was staying at her place. We got up and we didn’t have any shampoo, so I made a quick trip here shortly after they opened at 8 to buy shampoo. I didn’t change out of my pajamas, just threw on some shoes and a shirt and left on my pajama pants. The lady working was rude, she said, “You’re wearing pajamas.” I said yeah, and she goes, "You must not have much going on today.” As I said, my girlfriend lives less than 5 minutes away. Herndon is big, but not that big. Word of mouth travels fast. I don't go to stores to be judged.

This Dollar Tree location is well-stocked and clean and organized when I recently visited. They have a decent selection of cheap, usable products. One thing I don't like is that they changed their selection of mops and brooms - now they give you the option of which mop head and broom head you want, which offers useful choices, but they charge you for the mop/broom stick and the mop/broom heads separately! Plus, I'm not sure if they even fit together! Other than that, great location right on Elden St.

The worst dollar tree I have seen ever. Never going back there. Shelves were empty but worse than anything else was the cashier... Awoman whom will not disclose her name. She was so rude and aggressive. I've never have experienced anything like that from customer service. I honestly was shook up for a few minutes after I left the store. If she was working at any other store, she would've been fired on spot.

Worse dollar tree I have ever been to. Not only are there boxes everywhere, it looks like a tornado went through it. The very few cashiers they have are very rude, pushy and rushing. They never have good merchendise like the other stores. Looks more like a thrift store on the inside.

I can't tell what's going on with this store. The inventory is really low, and looks as if they've just cleaned up after being hit by a hell of a rush. The shelves are mostly bare. That said, the store is fairly clean, and the staff I encountered were nice.

This dollar tree is never organized. Whenever I have been to this location, they are always out of stock on majority of the items. Many of the items are not even shelved in their appropriate sections. Besides that, today a customer was calling for a cashier at the front 2x. It’s like a storm hits this store everyday. Many times I just go to the Vienna location because they are far cleaner and organized.

I have to write this I went to dallor tree yesterday went and brought 2 pans to cook with in the oven and candles I was charged 60 I looked on my bank statement it automatically shows what I spend daily what I purchased was only 3 dallors plz don't go here it's horrible watchur account watch the register

This Dollar Tree has always been the one I avoid. First of all, the floors are dirty and shelves are very messy. Secondly, the cashiers aren't that friendly. One time when I was in there, a cashier was playing inappropriate music, which had a lot of swearing in it. I most definitely will not be going back there.

One of the rudest customer service experiences I have encountered. As I was checking with a very young african american employee I told Jim I didn’t want to buy these two items and he told me to put them back yourself. Then didn’t utter a word the rest of check out no thank you or goodbye or anything. So rude!

They really need some HELP. I don't think that this is something that should ever happen in retail. If they would increase the wages they could possibly have some loyal employees. Corporate needs to do something about this.

This is the nastiest dollar tree I've ever been in. Most of the other dollar trees in the area are well stocked, clean, and organized. This location is always very understocked. There are always boxes and merchandise all over the floor piled up. The area from the registers to door after you check out is a tripping hazard. I had to step over balloons and other stuff on the floor.

This is the messiest Dollar Tree I've ever been in. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Stuff is always all over the place. Boxes are cluttered in the aisle. If they have any inventory it's thrown around the floor. The pictures others have posted are exactly true. I went in 2021 and was mortified. I was hoping it was better now that its 2023. It looked worse. I don't understand how this store remains open. Its giving Dollar Tree a bad name. I'll never go back in that store. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

When Eddie was the manager of this store it was organized, it is now a mess, boxes stacked in isles making it hard for shoppers to reach or find an item! Since Dollar Tree does not pay their employees enough they are going to work their shift and go home and the mess continues to build up! SHAME on the Dollar Tree❗❗

This the place is absolutely horrific. The cashiers are bossy, crude and lack hygiene. They do not have their prices marked properly in the computer there has been countless times I have went in for a 2 for $1 and both items ring up 1$ each. The manager seems like he care and will try and make things right but the pure unnerving stress that the lackies cause makes it simply not worth it. I wanted to give this place a 1 Star but it wouldn't be nice to the manager.

So this store is always poorly stocked, and many things not placed in logical places, boxes of inventory just shoved onto shelves, and other stock stacked on floor. This was today, and for a week or so I think they were having an inspection because everything was tidy and fully stocked. We are now back to their normal protocol, which is so disappointing. I go 3 times the distance to Sterling so that I can go where I know things will be in stock and in a logical location.

It has been few times i went to this store, and every time i noticed the rude cashiers.I understand that many people don't like their job or position. But, this is not an excuse to be rude with the customers.Whoever is the regional store manager, he/she may need purify this store.Very average store, not expect too much from this store.

Every time I come to this dollar tree since August around 6pm the store is has a hand written note saying there close, but the store hours on the door say something different. They need to be more professional then a hand written note and change the store hours on there door if they close early.

This is probably the FOURTH time that I come to this dollar tree and yall are not ringing me up correctly for my items. I got 2 lollipops for 1 dollar (sign right above it) and she charged me 1 for each. I understand mistakes happen as I too work in retail, but you all have to be on top of your staff because that is stealing. It could be 25cebtd, I honestly do not care. Its my money and you are taking it.

The Staff is great but one Male manager seems like he cant speak English and should not be in that position.Cashiers (most are friendly and helpful) . . . the Manager who has been there​ since it open is very helpful as well...I like shopping here when possible.

For many years I bought expensive wine and glassware from Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn ($7-$15 per glass). Now I buy them at Dollar General. They look the same and my guests automatically assume they were bought at the pricey stores. Who am I to ruin their good time. 😎

Stopped by to pick up a few balloons past the time store was suppose to open and the doors were locked with employees inside just walking around. Not the best way to operate a business

Be careful! the entire stuffs in this store are not following a protocol. They are not wearing any glovea or masks. They touched so many items from so many people and not use at least a sanitizer or clean there hands. Again be careful!

This store is usually messy and never has the new stuff you see in videos or new releases tiktoks etc. Not bad but not the best unfortunately. Staff is usually friendly
