My two pups were severely overdue for a good grooming and, by some miracle, they were able to get me in the same week I called. Both dogs do not love to be groomed and the groomers were fantastic with them both. I will definitely be bringing them here for their next grooming service!I wanted to add, I really appreciate the transparency here. You walk in and can literally see everything! Also, this place is next to Twisted Sweets & Savory—grab a sandwich while you’re waiting or order to pickup when you pickup your pup. 10/10

I had to bring my dog back to finish the hair cut which was not done according to my request. Then after debating with the staff in trying to explain over and over again in much detail for something that I wanted, a simple short haircut,I get my dog back with an uneven haircut. Zero customer service skills and zero dog grooming skills. Almost like they did this uneven hair cut on purpose because they didn’t like that I brought him back.

they butchered my dogs hair. i knew she was matted and i’ve taken her here before but they’ve never cut her hair this short before. they made the top of her head uneven as well. i tipped well because i felt bad.

Brought in my pack of dogs for grooming. The gentlemen that I worked with were so wonderful. All of our dogs looked so amazing. The labradoodle looked like something off of Instagram, he is so handsome. I look forward to bringing our pups back for their next appointment.

The worst experience, last week I took my dog ​​to have her hair cut. First of all, when I called to make the appointment, they never told me that they were going to charge me an extra $40 to get my dog's hair out of knots. When I made the payment, they surprised me that they were going to charge me an extra $40. I responded by telling them that the next time before making the appointment they have to let the dog owner know that there will be an extra charge. As I claimed that they were very rude to me and told me that this was my problem and that if I wanted I could leave my dog ​​or take it back. I had no choice but to leave my dog ​​because the next day we were going on a trip. After 2 hours they called me to tell me that my dog ​​was ready. Well, I sent my daughter to pick up my dog, I was on the phone with my daughter when she was picking up our dog when Mrs. Maria handed her a blue bag with all my dog's hair and a message for me. She told her that there was all the hair and garbage that they had taken from my dog ​​and that's why they charged much more. What a lack of respect and above all nothing professional the staff of this salon. Two days later my husband was very annoyed to claim this bad act of this staff and the only thing they did was insult and call the police on my husband for just taking back their garbage and complaining about the terrible behavior of this staff . I will never take my dogs to this place again. And the worst thing was that they hurt my dog ​​for cutting her hair in very bad ways. puppies are not to blame for this kind of people. They are a shame.

This place has truly been an answer to my prayers! Our GSP is terribly anxious about getting his nails trimmed, and his nails were way too long! We tried using one of the big box pet/vet stores, and they insisted I drug my dog ahead of time. Even then they still were not successful. It was awful and I was desparate. I called Dog-a-do and explained my situation. Will said he could help, and help he and his team have done! Will is gentle and kind and patient with our pup who is still quite anxious but now has trimmed nails each time we go. We've been going every 3 weeks for a while now, and our pup is making great progress without drugs! I highly recommend this place for your beloved pets :-)

today was my first day there for a nail cut for my rottweiler and they did amazing! my own doctors need a staff of four people and a muzzle to take my dog usually because they are scared and unable to calm her! it took two men who were fast and careful and caring towards her during the entire duration! i was in and out that was the best part cause it gave my dog less time to become anxious and she defiantly trusted them! i will only be coming here from now on

They listened carefully to what I asked for. Took picture of what I wanted my little girl to look like and literally I received exactly what I asked for. I’m so happy. I have a rambunctious giant schnauzer puppy that just turned 7 months old. I would definitely recommend Dog A Do!

Caring, quick, and thorough. Easy to make reservations within a few days - just call. Closed Wednesdays and Sundays.Been taking our dog there for years (and our previous dog for years before that). Cannot speak to their grooming/detangling, since these are shorter-haired dogs that got/get their baths, brushing, nails, ears, and glands done and not haircuts or shaving.Doggo gets a cute bandana at the end and smells great. Groomers are great with my anxious dog and cuts are good too but 3 stars only because they never seem to answer the phones throughout the day! Not very accommodating as well and a bit overpriced. I will be quoted a price and then randomly they will tell me the price increased even though I was in the previous month. That being said my dog also has come home a few times with cuts. Half the staff is pleasant (one's grooming), the ones taking payments not so much.

I've taken my australian shepherd to get groomed twice here and both times I've been super impressed with their work. On average a full groom is about $100. They are very good at removing a lot of her undercoat which reduces her shedding and keeps her feeling soft and fluffy. Will definitely be coming back to get her groomed again.

Went in to book an appointment and saw how disgusting this place looked , it reminded me of a puppy mill. Receptionist or Casier what ever seem to be the most rude unpleasant person. The filthy shop and disgusting worker will for sure keep my dogs out of this place RUNNNNN

Not sure what's happened but it feels like quality of service has gone down. I have two dogs and I've been a long-time customer and was typically happy with the work they do, but the past two times the instructions (which have been the same since i\I started going there: puppy cut - keep the face a little rounder and longer than the rest) were not followed. I figured maybe they have someone new who was still training. I had explicitly asked them to go back to trimming the ears since they had been leaving them untouched and those instructions were not followed either.The first time it happened I pointed it out and they took the dogs back quickly and did a very sloppy scissor job in front of me. Did not feel like trying to hash it out with them because it felt pointless. Thought maybe they'd listen the second time but again got really choppy cuts again.Looks like someone just took clippers to the dogs with no shaping or or cleaning. Both have come home looking patchy twice in a row. I wouldn't be disappointed with not following instructions if the work was at least clean, but it looks sloppy and uneven.Folks are friendly and expedient, so that's nice.I think I will be looking for a new groomer.

I brought my Husky which some shops don't even deal with because of the fur. These folks were welcoming and did a great job. They seemed busy but in control. Dog people can be very sensitive sometimes so I take these reviews with a big grain of salt. I was happy with the results and the staff. I'll be back.

Dog a Do is the only place we trust to take my 70 lb lab & aussie mix for his nail trims. Our dog is very jittery when people touch his paws and can truthfully be rough as a result. At Dog a Do we go in for walk ins and I am always thankful for the quick and painless trim they give my big pup. They know exactly what to do to make him feel better about the experience and always do a thorough job.

My pup required nothing but a bath and nail clip. During the preliminary call, told I would pay $35 to $45. I was charged $59 and told to my face (new customer) that I'm lucky I wasn't charged for express. New customer - no clue what express even means! I had an appointment so why the comment about express. Common sense - customer courtesy. To be clear, it is how I was treated, not the cost. You have an opportunity here to listen.The groomer did not hold my dog when opening the 2nd tier cage. She dove into the pounds of dog hair after bath. How does that look from your point of view? No safety for my dog was exhibited or other dogs, let alone the appliances. As a business owner, you simply take a moment and ask. It was exceedingly busy and frenetic from the moment I arrived to departure. My focus would be on the care of the team. For the record, I won't be back. The reason isn't about the Grooming. Beautiful artists doing good work. Praise the work and in my case, all I ask for is respect. Merci

I had a wonderful experience with Will! He was so sweet and attentive to our Lucy girl and it really put my mind at ease. I am very picky (trust me) and Will listened to every request I had about her grooming details and made sure that she looked EXACTLY the way I wanted her. Worst ever. Had to pay extra for express service so that my dog wasn’t waiting in a rusty cage for hours before she was groomed. 4-5 hours wait for a 1 hour service. I don’t kennel my dog so why would I jam her in a cage for hours (filthy metal on the bottom of the cage also) What’s the point of an appointment? I specifically said a trim and went through what I wanted and they hacked all the areas I asked them to keep long (her tail and hind end) and missed the bulk of her body completely. The trim job is completely uneven. I just spent 45 mins trimming the uneven spots and re-bathing her. Not to mention she tried to tell me a different price when I came to pick up the dog which didn’t work considering it’s cash/check only and I only grabbed so much cash out. Wonder if it’s taxes or the fact that you can’t ask for a refund when they provide a terrible and rushed service that they won’t accept a card.My 6 year old would have done a better job. What a waste. My poor dog was traumatized. My mistake for not reading through the negative reviews. Don’t take your dog here! Filthy, rushed, terrible service.

I unfortunately did not have a good experience here. I took my dog to get a trim and explained everything I wanted to the groomer. I explained that I only wanted his tummy area and face cut. The groomer was trying to convince me to cut everything, but I specifically said no, and to especially not touch his neck area. I come to pick him up, and the groomer did not shave his head or stomach, but shaved to the skin…. His neck. My dog looked ugly. I told the groomer that this is exactly what I asked not to do and he laughed in my face. I had a great experience the first time I went, but won’t be returning after my second.

Overall, I have to say they do a good job cutting my dog’s hair. It is also fairly easy to get an appointment when I need one. That said, not ONCE, in 4 tries, have I come out of there with the cut I requested. It looks great, but is not what I want. I think I’ll stop wasting my money here and find somewhere else.

Have been going here for 7 months and always a pleasant experience, until recently. They must have exchanged owners or staff. Went in to pick up and found all the dogs that were in cages shaking.Took him home for a potty break and saw he was bleeding from the butt and it took 2 days to cheer him up back to his normal self.Lady who was checking us in stopped listening mid conversation to check in someone who came after us, then didn't know what services we just told her we wanted.Very rude, unprofessional, and questionable quality

I took my difficult pup in for a walk in nail trim based on all the positive reviews online. Other people with difficult pups had great things to say about how the staff was able to take care of their pups with no problem. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!! They took care of my dogs too long nails in no time!! It was her first time and she behaved better for them than she does for us at home 😄 FYI...they DO NOT take cards, only cash and check so come prepared (there is an ATM nearby just in case) And tip the staff!! They do great work. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Dog A Do!
