Canine Carousel was the only groomer that I found willing to groom my reactive senior small dog. He was very anxious and would become a fear biter. Other groomers wanted me to tranquilize him but Canine Carousel was willing to try working on him with the most minimal of restraints. They used my suggestion of a muzzle for nail clipping, which worked wonderfully. Going very slowly and gently, he was able to be bathed and groomed. He came out looking and feeling fabulous. I am so grateful for their kind, loving and gentle handling of him. Chrissy really met him at his level and helped him gain confidence that she was not going to harm him. I highly recommend Canine Carousel for anyone looking for a loving groomer who will make your dog look amazing. I can not say enough good about our continued experience with them. Thank you for working with my difficult old man dog!

I have been taking my Shih Tzu to Canine Carousel for about 4 years now. He has always been very anxious about the groomer and is not always on his best behavior when he is scared. They have been SO patient with him and have really worked to make his experience with grooming more positive. As an added bonus, he always looks great after grooming day. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Canine Carousel! I called and they were able to get me in very fast! They were super kind and easy to work with. My dog can be reactive and the hair cut person know exactly how to handle and approach new dogs. If you’ve got a doodle would highly recommend.

My fur baby has been getting groomed and pampered at Canine Carousel for 14 years. While bathing terrifies her, Chrissy and everyone who pampers the pooches makes them feel comfortable, special and loved. Would not take my doggie anywhere else when it is time for spa day! Love the ladies who take such great care of the animals. Wonderful groomers.

I absolutely recommend Canine Carousel, I have been bringing my boys here since they were puppies. One of my boys is no longer with us but my boy Chester whose is now 17 years old still gets groomed by Nikki who has always been absolutely great with them !Everyone here is very professional, kind and nice. Although I have to drive from MD to VA for 45 mins I would not go anywhere else, is totally worth the drive!

Canine Carousel is the absolute best! Ask for Chrissy. She asks exactly what type of cut you'd like for your dog and delivers. I have been going there for over 15 years for our Bichon and took my new pup there this past weekend! They have the option also for a speed-through appointment so you can have your pup back in under two hours! He looks beautiful.

Hayley takes very good care of our Junie! After having a very bad experience from a FORMER groomer and grooming service where my dog was nicked by a clipper.. and the former groomer denied it.Hayley is so great with June, and Junie always comes home happy and pretty! Thank you Hayley!

I love Chrissy at Canine Carouse! She takes such loving care of my standard poodle King. Chrissy is also a tremendously talented groomer and listens to what each owner wants for their dog. We gave King bell bottoms last visit. She is very knowledgeable about the various breeds and how to groom their particular hair/fur. I recommend a visit to Chrissy to all of my friends!

We took our cute toy poodle to get groomed and my dog was actually shaved! It’s been a day and my poor baby is in complete shock!Our poodle is usually very high spirit and energetic but the last day since bringing home from canine carousel he has not been the same. I would not recommend this place at all!

During This current pandemic, Terenia agreed to take my long haired cat Pasha (who had terrible mats all over) to try and groom him. Since I was a new customer she wasn’t sure how well he would do. Everyone at Canine Carousel was fantastic but Terenia was amazing! She was in touch with me as to how he was handling the grooming and asked what kind of cut I wanted on him. She called to tell me he did not do well with a bath so they were going to skip it. I loved the fact that even though I was a new customer, they treated me like an old friend Pasha came back looking beyond adorable. And no more mats. Hopefully I can get him to start liking brushies again!! Thanks!!
