Just started my first saltwater tank . The crew at Reefology has been outstanding from the beginning! They delivered my tank , setup the entire system and explained everything. Being new to the hobby they have given us plenty of great advice and knowledge of the do’s and don’t to be successful. Also we have been able to reach out to them many times during our learning curve and they have answered all our concerns and issues being newbies . Thanks Reefology for helping my family in finally getting us up and going in this wonderful tank !

I would 1000% recommend this shop to anyone! They went WAY above and beyond to help me, with very little gain involved for them. They were super friendly and happy to help me, despite how random my request was! Lol I wanted a specific tank and couldn't seem to find it anywhere. I called every shop listed as a retailer and my LAST call was to Reefology RVA - who is LITERALLY located on the opposite side of the country from me. They worked miracles and made it happen! Not only did I get the tank shipped directly to me on the West Coast, they were AWESOME to work with! Everyone I spoke to was just so willing to help, even though I wasn't a big money maker for them.That is a super rare quality and I am beyond grateful for this shop! I will happily order anything and everything I can from them.

Got here today 20-ish mins before they closed. Drove about 1.5 hours to get here from Ruckersville. Worth every minute! Super knowledgeable owner, really went out of his way to help me with all of my questions! Priced very competitive compared to other local coral reef stores. Will definitely be returning!

Awesome location with great customer service. They have a huge 400gal frag tank in the middle of the shop and a bunch of tanks on the left side with a variety of stuff. In the back is a monster display tank that is beautiful. The store is very clean and easy to get to. They can and will order most anything you want from fish to inverts to coral. If you are in the reefing hobby this is a must stop place in Richmond.

Richmond is lucky to have several great saltwater fish stores. Reefology RVA definitely occupies a top spot on the list of local shops. They’re raising the bar with their new location.Talk with Caleb - he’s a real pro. He always asks about my home aquariums, and has lots of knowledge to share. He’s very approachable, and you can feel the excitement and enthusiasm he has for reef keeping.The display systems in the shop are what I would call “public aquarium quality”, meaning they’re big, robust, and super clean.Right now the livestock selection is limited, because they just moved their shop, but every time I go there is more for sale than the last time. I’ve enjoyed following along with the progression of their store. The prices are also reasonable when compared to other local shops.If you have a marine aquarium, or are considering setting one up, go check these guys out, they’re pushing the envelope of what a local reef shop can be.

These guys are awesome. Lots of coral, fish and knowledge on the saltwater hobby. I live over an hour away from the store or any other salt water stores so I've been to quite a few stores. The fish and corals are very healthy during pickup and putting into my own tanks and everyone is doing great. This shop is going to be my store of choice from now on even though it is an extra 20 min drive each way on an hour drive and will be the place I get my 600 gal tank done when that happens. Keep it up guys love seeing a store that keeps their animals in the best environment possible. Will be seeing you guys again soon!

This place is one of a kind. I have been to many fish stores around the area and this has been my favorite. Reefology has been more than just a store to me, they are amazing people. I have started coming there very often recently and ask questions after questions while they are always more than happy to give me an answer. They also test my water every time and even tell me that they would replace some of the things I buy from them if they don’t make it. They always make sure to fully quarantine their fish and have helped me fully set up my home aquarium. They always give me honest answers too. Reefology is also working on adding to their store as they recently added a 1600 gallon tank to the back of their store. They always welcome me at the store. I love coming to this store even when I’m not planning on buying anything, but I can get I big chunk of information. Reefology also have a vast variety of fish. They restock every week and can place orders. I am so thankful that Reefology is a fish store near me. This is definitely a place to checkout

Caleb and kole are the best! This is the go to reef store for me 100%. These guys know exactly what they are doing and they are in it for the right reasons. Good selection of fish. Good selection of corals. If you need anything they can order it. They can help out with almost everything reef keeping! On top of all this. The fish are absolutely healthy. I did not see a single sick fish. They QT everything. Stop by and check it out you won’t be disappointed. I love the conversations and the great environment. Highly recommend in this area!!!!

Caleb and Kole have been a ton of help. I really only found them because the shop that is right down the road from me was closed the day I was on a mission to starting up my tank. It couldn't have worked out better. Caleb and Kole have talked me through a lot and pointed me in the right direction. Reefology will have my business from here on out. Great selection of fish that they restock every Thursday along with a great selection of corals. Keep up the great work fellas!

The owner Caleb is very knowledgeable and gives top notch customer service. He's keeps a good selection in stock from live rock to peacock shrimp and everything in between. He will also build custom aquariums to meet your needs. Just a great guy to deal with. If you want it he can get it.

I was in the area and decided to check out this new reef shop because I saw it had good reviews. I couldn’t have been more disappointed. I’m honestly not sure how they are even in business. There was hardly any selection in the store, from the very few fish to the basically empty frag tank. I believe you can find more in Petco. I have been to a ton of shops in Virginia and this was the most pathetic. I wouldn’t waste your time with this place. There are way better shops close by!

Caleb has the best looking livestock out of our local saltwater specialist stores. I've never had anything from him that had pests or alagae either. He's not a stickler for prices like the other guys, and makes the whole experience as pleasant for the customer as possible. Highly recommend.
